Abstract
"PNEU COM CORREIA SEGMENTADA". A presente invenção é direcionada para um pneu radial. O pneu é compreendido de uma estrutura de correia de reforço na qual as lonas da correia são divididas em pelo menos três segmentos. As cordas de reforço em cada segmento de uma lona são orientadas na mesma direção de inclinação. Mantendo-se a mesma inclinação da corda nos segmentos, a divisão da lona da correia em segmentos cria pontos de articulação para a lona da correia, reduzindo a dureza da lona através da largura da banda de rodagem a partir da linha central do pneu para as bordas da banda de rodagem. Se a estrutura de correia tem mais do que uma lona de reforço, os segmentos das lonas adjacentes são escalonados por uma distância maior do que a altura radial entre o lado radialmente interno das lonas de correia adjacentes.
