Abstract
"TECIDOS INFLáVEIS COMPREENDENDO PONTOS DE FIXAçãO TRANçADOS EM CESTA ENTRE OS PAINéIS DO TECIDO". Tecidos infláveis totalmente trançados ( 10 ) os quais compreendem áreas ( 14 ) de camadas duplas e pontos de fixação ou "costuras" ( 16 ) onde camadas simples de tecido são formadas. Tais camadas simples de tecido são construídas unicamente através da utilização de padrões de tecedura em cesta. Essas camadas simples específicas de tecido proporcionam uma maneira relativamente eficaz de redução da permeabilidade ao ar dentro do artigo têxtil todo através de diminuição da possibilidade de deslocamento da fibra quando de inflação. Alternativamente, a presença de pelo menos um segunda área de camada simples de tecido ( 22 ) adjacente à primeira ( 16 ) e separadas por uma camada apertada simples de tecido ( 18 ) pode ainda reduzir a possibilidade de deslocamento da fibra na primeira camada simples de tecido. Tal tecido pode ser utilizado em aplicações onde a inflação do tecido é desejada ou necessária. Em particular, o tecido da invenção pode ser incorporado dentro de uma almofada de airbag.
