<Desc/Clms Page number 1> Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung des neuen n-Propyl-tert. amylamin der Formel EMI1.1 Diese Verbindung ist ein neues Zwischenprodukt für die Herstellung des als Lokalanästhetikum hervorragenden N-n-Propyl-tert. amylaminoessigsäure-2, 6-xylidids der Formel EMI1.2 Das erfindungsgemässe Verfahren ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man tert. Amylamin mit n-Propyljodid oder n-Propylbromid umsetzt. Das folgende Beispiel illustriert die Erfindung ohne sie zu beschränken : Eine Mischung von 2 Mol tert. Amylamin und 1 Mol 1-Brom-propan wird 6 h unter Rückfluss gehalten. Die Umsetzungsmischung wird gekühlt und 1 h bei 40C gehalten. Nach dem Filtern wird das Filtrat durch Säulendestillation fraktioniert und die farblose, klare Fraktion, die bei 136 bis 138 C kocht, wird gesammelt. **WARNUNG** Ende DESC Feld kannt Anfang CLMS uberlappen**.

- PATENTANSPRUCH : Verfahren zur Herstellung des neuen n-Propyl-tert. amylamins, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man tert. Amylamin mit n-Propyljodid oder n-Propylbromid umsetzt. **WARNUNG** Ende CLMS Feld Kannt Anfang DESC uberlappen**.
