Abstract
El catalizador de níquel metálico sin sulfurar o níquel metálico sin sulfurar está modificado con los metales de Mo; Re, Bi o mezclas en donde el catalizador se utiliza solo o se utiliza en combinación con otros catalizadores selectivos acetilénicos. El catalizador de níquel metálico sin sulfurar o catalizador modificado es preferentemente el primer catalizador en contactar la corriente de hidrocarburos. Reivindicación 1: Un proceso para eliminar compuestos acetilénicos de corrientes de hidrocarburos, que comprende poner en contacto hidrógeno y una alimentación de hidrógeno que contiene compuestos acetilénicos con un catalizador que comprende un níquel metálico sin sulfurar soportado bajo condiciones de hidrogenación para hidrogenar en forma selectiva una porción de dichos compuestos acetilénicos.
