Definitions
- the present invention relates to a cable bead used for a tire of a vehicle and a manufacturing method thereof.
- Patent Document 1 proposes a coreless cable bead. That is, Patent Document 1 proposes a method of forming a cable bead by forming a ring using one steel filament and twisting the steel filament while making a plurality of turns. Since the diameter of one filament used in a so-called 1 ⁇ n single twist structure can be increased and the number of frequency divisions can be reduced, a cable bead can be manufactured at low cost.
- Patent Document 2 discloses a method of forming a cable bead by using a mild steel filament as an inner core and spirally winding a small-diameter filament wound around it. That is, a finely sized filament having a radius at least twice the radius of a core formed in an annular shape is wound around a mild steel fillant as a core. According to this method, a strong cable bead can be obtained.
- Cited Document 1 since one large-diameter filament is not attached, particularly the first small-diameter filament formed in an annular shape tends to become a core wire rather than a side wire. There is a problem that a 1+ (m ⁇ 1) structure with a core is not used instead of a 1 ⁇ m structure without a core, and it takes time to repair the structure and the manufacturing cost increases.
- an object of the present invention is to provide a cable bead and a method for manufacturing the same, in which the manufacturing time is short and twisting is hardly generated.
- the cable bead of the present invention is An annular cable bead without a core, A single stranded strand material attached to form a single twist of 1 ⁇ m1 ⁇ d1 or a double twist structure of m2 ⁇ n ⁇ d2 constitutes the structure (m1-1) or (m2-1) )
- the curled strand material of the book is wound in a spiral space to be accommodated and wound around m1 or m2.
- m1 Number of twists of a single twist structure d1: Diameter of a filament constituting a single twist structure
- m2 Number of twists of a twist of a double twist structure
- n Number of twists of a twist of a double twist structure
- d2 Diameter of a filament constituting a double twist structure .
- the double twist structure in the present invention refers to two twists, the lower twist refers to the first twist, and the upper twist refers to the second twist.
- the method for producing the cable bead of the present invention includes: A plurality of filaments are supplied to a twisting machine and adjusted with a preform device and / or a post-form device so that the diameter ratio of the strand material is 89 to 101%.
- the twisted wire is drawn out and the loop is rotated in the circumferential direction, and the drawn-in one strand material is wound into the spiral void portion from which the other strand material is removed (the original material).
- a cable bead and a method for manufacturing the same in which the manufacturing time is short and uneven twisting is unlikely to occur.

- One embodiment of the cable bead according to the present invention is: (1) An annular cable bead without a core, wherein one stranded strand material attached to form a single twist of 1 ⁇ m1 ⁇ d1 or a double twist structure of m2 ⁇ n ⁇ d2
- the (m1-1) or (m2-1) stranded strand materials constituting the structure are wound in a spiral gap to be accommodated and wound around m1 or m2.
- m1 Number of twists of a single twist structure d1: Diameter of a filament constituting a single twist structure m2: Number of twists of an upper twist of a double twist structure n: Number of twists of a lower twist of a double twist structure d2: Diameter of a filament constituting a double twist structure .
- one stranded strand material constitutes a single twist of 1 ⁇ m1 ⁇ d1 or a double twist structure of m2 ⁇ n ⁇ d2 (m1-1) or (m2- 1) It is formed by winding m1 or m2 around a spiral void portion in which the stranded strand material is to be accommodated. For this reason, the cable bead with few twisting irregularities is obtained with less interference between the strands of the strand material.
- the diameter ratio of the strand material given by the following formula may be 89% or more and 101% or less.
- ⁇ (%) Hs / Dc ⁇ 100
- ⁇ diameter mold attachment ratio (%) of the strand material
- Hs Wave height (mm) of the strand material obtained by untwisting the original cord with no load
- Dc outer diameter (mm) of the original cord.
- both ends of the one stranded strand material may be inserted into and connected to a cylindrical sleeve.
- the end of the strand material is processed with a simple configuration, and the end of the strand material is prevented from damaging the tire.
- One embodiment of a method for manufacturing a cable bead according to the present invention is: (4) Supplying a plurality of filaments to a stranding machine and adjusting the strand material with a diameter forming ratio of 89 to 101% by a preform apparatus and / or a post-form apparatus and twisting the filaments together Producing the original code; Unwinding the original cord for each strand material and winding the stranded strand material around a bobbin winding axis line by line; A step of feeding out a part of one piece of the stranded strand material from the bobbin to form a loop of one turn, and temporarily constraining the tip of the one stranded strand material that has been fed out to the loop When, One bobbin strand material is produced by rotating the bobbin around the axis intersecting the winding axis in the same direction as the helical rotation direction of the braided strand material looking at the loop from the bobbin.
- the twisted wire is drawn out and the loop is rotated in the circumferential direction, and the drawn-in one strand material is wound into the spiral void portion from which the other strand material is removed (the original material).
- the cable bead 1 according to the present embodiment is an annular cable bead 1 without a core.
- the cable bead 1 of the present embodiment will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2.
- FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a cable bead 1 according to the present embodiment
- FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional perspective view of the cable bead 1.
- the cable bead 1 is composed of one stranded strand material 2 and a sleeve 3 into which both ends of the strand material 2 are inserted.
- One strand material 2 is circularly wound four times to form a cable bead 1.
- the cable bead 1 has four strand materials 2 in a cross section in the radial direction.
- the 1 ⁇ 4 ⁇ 1.20 single-stranded structure has four strand materials 2, and each strand material 2 is composed of one filament (steel wire) having a diameter of 1.20 mm.
- a single stranded strand material 2 laid to form a 1 ⁇ 4 ⁇ 1.20 single twist structure constitutes a 1 ⁇ 4 ⁇ 1.20 single twist structure 3
- the curled strand material of the book is wound into a spiral space to be accommodated and wound around four times.
- a filament is wound around a dummy bar so as to form a 1 ⁇ 4 ⁇ 1.20 single-strand original cord 4 and 2) this is untwisted to 1 ⁇ 4 ⁇ 1 .20
- a single strand material 2 is obtained that is laid to form a single twist structure of 20 and 3) this single stranded strand material 2 is formed into a single strand structure of 1 ⁇ 4 ⁇ 1.20. It can also be produced by winding four rounds while being wound in a spiral gap where the other three stranded strand materials to be constructed are to be accommodated.
- each strand material 2 is spirally kneaded and twisted, and the original cord 4 is untwisted for each strand material 2 and one of them is used as if the same as the original cord 4 It is produced in a twisted structure and can be produced by a simple method. Further, when the original cord 4 is untwisted, traces of the other strand material 2 removed by being untwisted are continuously formed as a spiral void 9 around one strand material 2. Further, the untwisted strand material 2 is helically attached. Since the untwisted spiral strand material 2 is wound into the spiral gap 9, the strand materials 2 are unlikely to interfere with each other and there is little twist unevenness. The state of winding in this spiral will be described in detail later with reference to FIG.
- FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of the original cord 4 according to the reference example.
- the solid line indicates the strand material 2
- the broken line indicates the schematic outer peripheral surface 5 of the original cord 4 formed by the strand material 2.
- the substantially outer peripheral surface 5 is a virtual surface obtained by connecting the outermost side portions of the strand material 2 over the entire circumference of the cable bead 1.
- the cable bead 1 having a twisted structure that satisfies the formula (1) is less likely to have large irregularities on the surface, and the hollow portion 6 is hardly formed at the center, and therefore, twist unevenness hardly occurs. For this reason, it is difficult for uneven adhesion to occur between the cable bead 1 and the tire wheel.
- the start end 2 a and the end end 2 b of one stranded strand material 2 are inserted into and connected to a cylindrical sleeve 3.
- the sleeve 3 restrains the movement of the strand material 2 in the radial direction while permitting the movement of the strand material 2 in the longitudinal direction slightly while allowing the movement of the strand material 2 in the longitudinal direction. If both ends of one strand material 2 constituting the cable bead 1 are in a freely movable state, when the cable bead 1 is embedded in the tire, there is a possibility that these both ends break through the rubber. In order to prevent this, the use of the cylindrical sleeve 3 as a connecting tool is simple and low in cost. Further, since the movement in the longitudinal direction is slightly allowed, the diameter of the cable bead 1 can be slightly increased, and the cable bead 1 can be easily attached to the tire wheel.

- the strand material 2 is attached by the preform device 16 so that the ratio of the diameter mold is 89% or more and 101% or less.
- the preform device 16 is disposed between the eye plate 12 and the twist opening 13 or between the bobbin 11 and the eye plate 12.
- a post-form device may be used so that the diameter ratio of the strand material 2 is 89% or more and 101% or less.
- the strand material 2 that has been previously attached to the bobbin 11 may be set.
- the original cord 4 may be twisted by either a tubular twister or a buncher twister.
- the tubular twister is selected. It is preferable to do.
- FIG. 5 is a schematic diagram showing the untwisting step. As shown in FIG. 5, the original cord 4 is untwisted for each strand material 2, and the stranded strand material 2 is wound around the winding axis Ay of the bobbin 11 one by one, and four spiral shapes are wound.
