上記(6)の場合、2つのブレーキキャリパの間のスペースを有効に活用し、かつ簡易な構造で、ブラケットをスイングアームに対して揺動を規制して取付けることができ、ブラケットの小型化を図ることができる。
すなわち、リヤアクスル4の位置が調整された際に、凸部3Dはスイングアーム3の凹部9F内を相対移動することで、リヤアクスル4の位置調整を阻害することなく、キャリパブラケット9の揺動を規制するようになっている。
機械式ブレーキキャリパ8Mによってブレーキディスク7に制動力を付与する場合は、回動アーム15を回動させて、機械作動ピストン13をブレーキディスク7側に推進させ、機械作動ピストン13がブレーキパッド20を介してブレーキディスク7に当接すると、機械式ブレーキキャリパ8Mが車幅方向外側に移動し、左半部10Lの内側当接部23がブレーキパッド20を介してブレーキディスク7に当接する。これにより、左右のブレーキパッド20にブレーキディスク7が挟み込まれて制動力が付与される。

Claims (6)
- 後輪を回転可能に支持するスイングアームと、
制動用に用いる制動用ブレーキキャリパと、
駐車状態に保持することができる駐車用ブレーキキャリパと、を備え、
前記制動用ブレーキキャリパ及び前記駐車用ブレーキキャリパを、前記スイングアームに設ける鞍乗型車両のブレーキキャリパ配置構造において、
前記制動用ブレーキキャリパ及び前記駐車用ブレーキキャリパのうちの少なくとも何れかを、側面視で前記後輪の車軸よりも前方であって、前記スイングアームの車幅方向内側で該スイングアームと重なる位置に配置したことを特徴とする鞍乗型車両のブレーキキャリパ配置構造。 - 前記制動用ブレーキキャリパ及び前記駐車用ブレーキキャリパのうちの一方を、側面視で前記後輪の前記車軸よりも前方であって、前記スイングアームの車幅方向内側で該スイングアームと重なる位置に配置し、他方を、前記スイングアームよりも上方に配置したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の鞍乗型車両のブレーキキャリパ配置構造。
- 前記駐車用ブレーキキャリパを、側面視で前記後輪の前記車軸よりも前方であって、前記スイングアームの車幅方向内側で該スイングアームと重なる位置に配置し、
前記駐車用ブレーキキャリパに接続されるブレーキケーブルを、上方に向けて延ばしたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の鞍乗型車両のブレーキキャリパ配置構造。 - 前記スイングアームに単一のブラケットを設け、該ブラケットに前記制動用ブレーキキャリパ及び前記駐車用ブレーキキャリパを取付けたことを特徴とする請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の鞍乗型車両のブレーキキャリパ配置構造。
- 前記駐車用ブレーキキャリパは左半部と右半部とでなる左右分割構造であり、
前記左半部及び前記右半部は、締結部材によって前記ブラケットに共締めで結合され、該ブラケットを支持することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の鞍乗型車両のブレーキキャリパ配置構造。 - 前記ブラケットは、前記スイングアームに対する支持部を2つ備え、
前記支持部のうちの一方を、前記車軸に挿通支持されるボス部で構成し、他方を、前記スイングアームに形成された凸部を、前記スイングアームの延在方向に相対移動可能に係合させる凹部で構成し、
前記制動用ブレーキキャリパ及び前記駐車用ブレーキキャリパのうちの一方を、側面視で前記後輪の前記車軸よりも前方であって、前記スイングアームの車幅方向内側で該スイングアームと重なる位置に配置し、他方を、前記スイングアームよりも上方に配置し、
前記凹部が、前記制動用ブレーキキャリパと前記駐車用ブレーキキャリパとの間に位置するようにしたことを特徴とする請求項4又は5に記載の鞍乗型車両のブレーキキャリパ配置構造。
