- 相互に重ね合わされたアッパープレート(14)およびロアプレート(15)よりなる本体部(12)の車幅方向外縁と、前記本体部(12)の車幅方向両側に配置された一対のサスペンション支持部材(13)の車幅方向内縁とを、前後方向に延びる接合部で接合した自動車用サブフレームにおいて、
前記接合部は、前記サスペンション支持部材(13)に前記アッパープレート(14)および前記ロアプレート(15)の一方を直接重ねて接合する第1接合部(A)と、前記サスペンション支持部材(13)に前記アッパープレート(14)および前記ロアプレート(15)の他方を直接重ねて接合する第2接合部(B)とからなり、前記第1接合部(A)および前記第2接合部(B)とは相互に重ならずに車体前後方向に延在することを特徴とする自動車用サブフレーム。 - 前記アッパープレート(14)および前記ロアプレート(15)のうち、少なくとも前記サスペンション支持部材(13)に近い側のプレートの車幅方向外縁は、前記サスペンション支持部材(13)に形成した段部(13c)に対向することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の自動車用サブフレーム。
- 前記アッパープレート(14)および前記ロアプレート(15)の前後縁は車幅方向に延びる第3接合部(C)で相互に接合されることを特徴とする、請求項1または請求項2に記載の自動車用サブフレーム。
- 前記本体部(12)は前記アッパープレート(14)および前記ロアプレート(15)間に空間を有する中空構造であることを特徴とする、請求項1~請求項3の何れか1項に記載の自動車用サブフレーム。
