技术领域
本发明关于一种人机接口系统, 特别是关于一种视觉接口系统。 背景技术
近年来, 触屏面板已经逐渐广泛应用于一般的消费性电子商品上, 例如智 能手机、 数字相机、 数字音乐播放器 (MP3 )、 个人数字助理器 (PDA)、 卫星导 航器(GPS )、掌上型计算机(hand-held PC),甚至崭新的超级行动计算机(Ultra Mobile PC, UMPC) 等, 上述的触屏面板皆结合于一显示屏幕而成为一触摸显示 装置。
另一方面, 为增加消费性电子产品的应用层面, 也开始在这些产品中加入 近场通讯 (Near Field Communication, NFC, 或近距离无线通讯) 的功能。 它 能提供, 举凡取代大量使用 IC卡的场合如门禁管制、车票、 门票或信用卡付费, 两个电子装置之间的数据交换, 如音乐、 图片、 或名片等等。 在增加诸多功能 下, 如何能持续维持一个简洁的架构而以非迭床架屋的方式得到一个产品, 也 吸引众多人的投入。
因此, 如何提供一种视觉接口系统, 能够不需使用另一触屏面板而能达到 触摸的功能, 进而使产品轻薄化及降低成本, 并且能结合短距离无线通讯的应 用而扩大应用层面, 实为当前重要课题。 发明内容
本发明的目的为提供一种能够不需使用另一触屏面板而能达到笔写及触摸 的功能, 同时还可应用于短距离无线通信的视觉接口系统。
本发明可采用以下技术方案来实现的。
本发明的一种视觉接口系统包括一操作装置以及一无源矩阵显示装置。 无 源矩阵显示装置包括一第一基板、 一显示面及一第二基板。 显示面位于第一基 板的一第一侧。 第二基板位于第一基板与第一侧相对的一第二侧, 并与第一基 板相对而设。 当操作装置在无源矩阵显示装置的显示面上操作时, 一编码讯号 从无源矩阵显示装置耦合至操作装置, 操作装置接收编码讯号而得到一传送讯 号。
在一实施例中, 传送讯号传送至无源矩阵显示装置。 在一实施例中, 无源矩阵显示装置具有至少一个电极设置于第一基板或第 二基板, 编码讯号施加于电极, 并从电极通过电容或电感耦合至操作装置。 而 电极为一独立电极, 或为无源矩阵显示装置的多个电极的至少其中之一。
在一实施例中, 无源矩阵显示装置处理传送讯号而得到一信息, 信息包括 触摸信息、 指令信息、 识别信息、 交易信息、 或档案信息。 其中, 触摸信息为 操作装置在显示面上的相对位置信息, 而传送讯号为来自第一基板及第二基板 的讯号。
在一实施例中, 视觉接口系统还包括至少一个中继装置。 中继装置处理传 送讯号而得到一中继处理讯号, 中继处理讯号可传送至视觉接口系统以外的其 它装置或无源矩阵显示装置。 其中, 传送讯号可包括触摸信息、 指令信息、 识 别信息、 交易信息、 档案信息或其它信息或者, 中继处理讯号可包括触摸信息、 指令信息、 识别信息、 交易信息、 档案信息或其它信息。 或者, 由视觉接口系 统以外的其它装置或无源矩阵显示装置处理中继处理讯号而得到一信息, 信息 可包括触摸信息、 指令信息、 识别信息、 交易信息、 档案信息或其它信息。
在一实施例中, 视觉接口系统还包括一模式触发组件, 一用户或操作装置 触发模式触发组件, 以启动无源矩阵显示装置进入一工作模式而发送编码讯号。
在一实施例中, 当操作装置为一用户时, 视觉接口系统还包括一感应组件, 用户同时接触显示面及感应组件, 以传递传送讯号至感应组件。 其中, 感应组 件具有模式触发功能, 用户可接触感应组件以启动无源矩阵显示装置进入一工 作模式而发送编码讯号。
在一实施例中, 无源矩阵显示装置还可包括一显示介质层, 显示介质层夹 置于第一基板与第二基板之间。 另外, 无源矩阵显示装置还可包括多个列电极 设置于第一基板的第二侧, 及多个行电极设置于第二基板面对第一基板的一侧, 且所述列电极与所述行电极交错设置。
承上所述, 因本发明的视觉接口系统中, 当操作装置在无源矩阵显示装置 的显示面上操作时, 编码讯号可从无源矩阵显示装置耦合至操作装置, 而操作 装置可接收编码讯号而得到一传送讯号。 以触摸操作为例, 传送讯号可直接或 间接传送至无源矩阵显示装置, 并且在过程中可经过操作装置的处理、 及 /或至 少一个中继装置的处理、 及 /或无源矩阵显示装置的处理, 使得无源矩阵显示装 置得到编码讯号与传送讯号所内含的信息, 例如触摸信息、 指令信息、 识别信 息、 交易信息、 档案信息或其它信息。 由上可知, 本发明的视觉接口系统可直接应用于内含有无源矩阵结构的系 统, 例如无源矩阵液晶显示装置、 非挥发型显示装置、 触摸显示装置、 或无源 矩阵有机发光二极管显示装置等, 整合显示、 触摸与数据传输于一体, 进而使 产品轻薄化, 并降低成本以提升产品竞争力。 另外, 本发明将编码讯号耦合至 外部的操作装置, 而非由无源矩阵显示装置直接读取编码讯号, 因而在无源矩 阵显示装置上不需作布局上的改变, 例如在触摸应用上, 不需要在显示面板内 增加电容感应组件以侦测外界电容值的改变, 因而降低成本并缩短制程。 附图说明

以下将参照相关附图, 说明依本发明优选实施例的一种视觉接口系统, 其 中相同的元件将以相同的元件符号加以说明。
请参照图 1所示, 其为本发明第一实施例的一种视觉接口系统 1 的功能方 块示意图。
视觉接口系统 1 包括一操作装置 11 以及一无源矩阵显示装置 (Passive Matrix Display Apparatus ) 12, 互相耦接, 例如可通过电容或电感耦合的方 式而耦接, 以传送讯号, 故可为不接触的讯号传递。
在本实施例中, 操作装置 11可例如为一触摸笔、 一导体、 或一芯片卡、 或 一近距离无线读取装置、 或一用户 (特别是用户的手指)。 当操作装置 11 为电 子装置时, 其内可具有处理控制电路、 存储电路或传送电路等功能电路。 于此, 「电路」 可通过硬件、 软件、 或韧体、 或其组合所构成。 当操作装置 11为一用 户时, 利用用户 (操作装置) 作为导体而传送讯号。 另外, 无源矩阵显示装置 12 例如可为一无源矩阵液晶显示装置 (Passive Matrix LCD ) , 触摸显示装置 (Touch Di splay Apparatus )^ 非挥发型显示装置 (Non-Volati le Type Display Apparatus ) 或无源矩阵有机发光二极管显示装置 (Passive Matrix 0LED)。
请参照图 2所示, 其为图 1的无源矩阵显示装置 12的侧视示意图。
无源矩阵显示装置 12包括一显示面 121、一第一基板 122及一第二基板 123。 显示面 121位于第一基板 122的一第一侧 P1,而第二基板 123位于第一基板 122 与第一侧 P1相对的一第二侧 P2 , 并与第一基板 122相对而设。 在本实施例中, 显示面 121是指用户观看无源矩阵显示装置 12显示影像时, 无源矩阵显示装置 12最靠近用户的一表面。 于此, 第一基板 122与第二基板 123可分别为一玻璃 基板, 而无源矩阵显示装置 12还可包括一保护玻璃 124设置于第一基板 122的 第一侧 P1 , 而显示面 121即为保护玻璃 124靠近用户的一表面。 另外, 无源矩阵显示装置 12还可包括一显示介质层 125, 显示介质层 125 夹置于第一基板 122与第二基板 123之间。 其中, 当无源矩阵显示装置 12为一 液晶显示装置时, 显示介质层 125可为一液晶层, 且液晶显示装置还可例如包 括配向膜、 偏光板、 彩色滤光片或背光源或其它组件。 另外, 当无源矩阵显 示装置 12为一非挥发型显示装置时, 显示介质层 125可为一电泳层, 且非挥发 型显示装置还可例如包括容置结构或其它组件。 此外, 当无源矩阵显示装置 12 为一有机发光二极管显示装置时, 显示介质层 125可一有机发光层, 且无源矩 阵显示装置 12还可例如包括彩色滤光片或其它组件。
以下以触摸用途为例, 说明本实施例的实施方式。 请再参照图 1及图 2所 示, 当操作装置 11在无源矩阵显示装置 12的显示面 121上操作时, 一编码讯 号 ES可从无源矩阵显示装置 12通过电容或电感耦合等无线耦合至操作装置 11, 而操作装置 11接收编码讯号 ES而可得到一传送讯号 TS。于此, 编码讯号 ES隐 含有无源矩阵显示装置 12上关于显示屏幕被操作装置 11触碰位置的坐标, 使 得传送讯号 TS可隐含有坐标信息, 而无源矩阵显示装置 12传送编码讯号 ES至 操作装置 11时, 大致上是无线的方式, 以形成一种近场 (Near Field ) 的讯号 传送。 当然, 若为其它应用, 则编码讯号 ES可由任一欲传送的信息所构成, 例 如触摸信息、 指令信息、 识别信息、 交易信息或档案信息 (音乐、 图片、 文字 等等), 使得传送讯号 TS含有对应的讯息。 其中, 编码讯号 ES可施加在无源矩 阵显示装置 12的至少一个电极上, 此电极可设置于第一基板 122上或第二基板 123上, 而编码讯号 ES可施加于所述电极, 并从此所述电极通过电容或电感耦 合至操作装置 11。无源矩阵显示装置 12当然也另外施加显示画面用的显示讯号 以显示影像。 其中, 编码讯号 ES可例如在显示讯号施加的空档时间 (blanking time ) 来施加, 例如两个图框 (frame ) 间、 或两个行电极或两个列电极传送讯 号间、 或借缩短显示讯号施加时间以产生空档、 或在显示讯号上直接迭加一高 于显示讯号频率的讯号、 或在显示画面更新间施加。
请同时参照图 2、 图 3A及图 3B所示, 其中, 图 3A为图 2的无源矩阵显示 装置 12的一立体示意图, 而图 3B为图 3A的多个列电极及多个行电极交错设置 的示意图。 于此, 图 3B只显示图 3A的无源矩阵显示装置 12的多个列电极及多 个行电极, 并未显示无源矩阵显示装置 12的第一基板 122、 第二基板 123及显 示介质层 125。
在本实施例中, 无源矩阵显示装置 12以有机发光二极管显示装置为例, 而 显示介质层 125则为有机发光层。 于此, 无源矩阵显示装置 12还可包括多个列 电极 Di Dw及多个行电极 Si SM, 所述列电极 Di D 置于第一基板 122的第二 侧 P2 , 所述行电极 S i SM设置于第二基板 123面对第一基板 122的一侧, 且所 述列电极 Di Dw与所述行电极 Si SM交错设置, 且实质上相互垂直或夹一角度。 另外, 无源矩阵显示装置 12还可设置一驱动模块 (图未显示), 并通过驱动模 块的驱动可使无源矩阵显示装置 12显示影像。 其中, 可通过驱动模块选取并驱 动行电极及列电极, 以点亮行电极及列电极交错处的显示介质层 125, 以显示影 像画面。由于无源矩阵显示装置 12的驱动模块对于影像的驱动方法为习知技术, 于此就不再说明。 本实施例的重点在于, 利用行电极 Si SM及 /或列电极 Di Dw 自无源矩阵显示装置 12传送编码讯号 ES至操作装置 11, 以产生传送讯号 TS。 注意, 编码讯号 ES可以隐含不同讯息以对应不同的应用, 从无源矩阵显示装置 12 的显示屏幕的参考坐标到个人数据、 音乐、 图片等各种格式的档案数据, 均 可隐含于编码讯号 ES中传送。
在本实施例中,列电极 Di Dw除了可传送显示画面的讯号外,还可传送编码 讯号 ES。 例如, 在显示讯号 DS上直接迭加一高于显示讯号 DS频率的编码讯号 ES , 或在其传送显示讯号 DS的空档时间 (一图框与另一图框间, 或是画面更新 间的空档时间)时传送编码讯号 ES。 于此, 编码讯号 ES可由无源矩阵显示装置 12的驱动模块的电路来提供, 以简化电路设计。
值得注意的是, 当无源矩阵显示装置 12为一双稳态 (bistable ) 显示装置 如胆固醇型液晶显示装置时, 因显示装置仅画面更新需传送显示讯号, 而编码 讯号可在显示画面更新的同时(载于显示讯号上)、 或显示画面更新间(于显示讯 号间)传送。 另外, 无源矩阵显示装置 12还可只更新部分显示画面, 故在更新 部分显示画面区域的同时, 或更新部分显示画面区域间还可传送编码讯号; 另 当无源矩阵显示装置 12为一类双稳态 (quasi-bi stable ) 显示装置, 如利用微 机电结构产生光干涉现象的干涉调变 (interferometric modulator, IM0D) 显 示装置。 此类显示装置除须显示讯号以更新画面外, 在画面没有更新时仍需借 一维持讯号以维持画面, 在此情况下, 编码讯号仍可载于显示讯号或维持讯号 上、 或是穿插于显示讯号间或是维持讯号间传送。
请参照图 4所示, 其为图 3B的相邻两个列电极的讯号示意图。 以下, 仅就 以垂直于列电极方向的一维触摸为例, 同时以时序编码方式说明编码讯号 ES。 同法亦可施行在垂直于行电极方向上, 如此可构成一完整的二维平面触摸。
在本实施例中, 如图 4所示, 仅有一列电极传送编码讯号 ES , 而编码讯号 是以与显示讯号不同位准方式标示, 实施时亦可以相同的位准进行。 换言之, 于一时间时, 列电极传送一编码讯号 ESI及一显示讯号 DS1, 再于下一时间时, 列电极再传送另一编码讯号 ES2及另一显示讯号 DS2。如此, 各列电极上所传送 的编码讯号的时序图可如图 5所示(省略显示讯号 DS) , 列电极 01〜 可分别传 送编码讯号 ES1〜ESN。需补充说明, 上述编码讯号 ES1〜ESN可以分别在不同的 列电极上传送, 亦可以多数条列电极传送同一个编码讯号 (编号讯号可具有多 个位), 例如列电极 Di Ds都传送编码讯号 ES1 , 而列电极 D4〜D6都传送编码讯 号 ES2; 同样的原则亦可适用于行电极所传送的编码讯号 ES。 此外, 行电极与 列电极所传的编码讯号 ES可各自独立成一系统。 由于列电极依序传送编码讯号 ES, 因此尚须一时间基准点, 通过与基准点比较即可得知列电极位置。 此基准 点可以是一特殊编码以相同方式传送, 例如, 所有列电极都传送两个 1 后再开 始依序传送。依上述方式,操作装置 11耦合到的编码讯号 ES例如为 110010000, 即可得知操作装置 11位在第三条列电极上, 因此可推算出操作装置 11 的坐标 (X坐标)。 同法, 操作装置 11的 Y坐标可经由另一组施加于行电极的编码讯号 得知。 另外, 本实施例的编码讯号 ES的责任周期 (duty cycle) 小于显示讯号 DS的责任周期, 借此以维持显示质量。
上述的调变方式为振幅调变 (Amplitude Modulation) 技术, 即是以振幅 的高低来表示数字讯号的 1 或 0, 不过, 也可使用频率调变 (Frequency Modulation)技术来表示数字讯号的 1或 0, 例如可定义单位时间内有 5个上下 振幅的变化是为 1, 其余则为 0; 或使用相移调变 (Phase Shift Modulation) 技术, 例如定义一个高准位加上一个低准位为 0, 而一个低准位加上一个高准位 则为 1。 于此, 其调变方式并不加以限制。 另外, 为避免邻近电极之间的干扰, 不同电极间可以采用分时、 分频、 或分码等技术。
当用户拿着操作装置 11于无源矩阵显示装置 12的显示面 121上操作时 (例 如碰触到显示面 121或靠近显示面 121 ), 编码讯号 ES可从无源矩阵显示装置 12通过电容耦合至操作装置 11。 由于本实施例以列电极 Di Dw传送编码讯号 ES 为例, 因此列电极作为电容耦合的其中一个电极, 而操作装置 11上具有电容耦 合的另一个电极, 例如操作装置 11为一触摸笔时, 笔尖含有一导体做为电容耦 合的另一个电极。
在操作装置 11通过耦合接收到编码讯号 ES后, 操作装置 11依据编码讯号 ES进行处理而得到一传送讯号 TS。 这处理可包括对编码讯号 ES进行放大及 /或 译码, 以解读出哪一条列电极被触摸、 或是解读出触摸位置、 或是解读出触摸 手势 (笔势)、 或是解读出触摸所对应的功能指令等。 注意, 编码讯号 ES 是以 电容耦合至操作装置 11, 此电容大小与操作装置 11与显示面 121的距离有关, 亦即由讯号大小可以得到 Z轴信息, 故操作装置 11可以得到的不仅是平面的二 维坐标, 亦包括与平面距离的 z坐标。 据此, 所谓传送讯号 TS的涵盖范围可以 是从对编码讯号 ES的单纯放大到最后处理成动作指令。
接着, 在操作装置 11产生传送讯号 TS后, 操作装置 11可通过有线方式或 无线方式、 或电性耦接 (包括电容、 电感耦合) 或光学耦接而将传送讯号 TS传 送至无源矩阵显示装置 12 或其它中继装置或此视觉接口系统 1 以外的其它装 置。 于此, 以直接传送至无源矩阵显示装置 12为例。
当本发明应用于其它非触摸用途时, 可先将欲传递的讯息依照特定原则编 码成编码讯号 ES,再由无源矩阵显示装置 12 (例如包括在手机或平板计算机中) 通过耦合至操作装置 11 (例如固定在墙上的近距离无线读取装置)。 同样的, 操 作装置 11可依据所设定的原则对编码讯号 ES进行处理(例如译码及 /或修改数 据) 而得到传送讯号 TS, 再依各自用途使用传送讯号 TS, 例如应用于门禁、 购 物及金融交易、 或档案传送等。
上述以操作装置 11处理而得到传送讯号 TS已具有的信息, 例如触摸信息、 指令信息、 识别信息、 交易信息、 档案信息或其它信息等等。 另外, 在其它实 施例中, 无源矩阵显示装置 12可处理传送讯号 TS而得到一信息, 所述信息具 有触摸信息、 指令信息、 识别信息、 交易信息、 档案信息或其它信息, 而触摸 信息可为操作装置 11在显示面 121上的相对位置信息, 且其相对位置信息源自 无源矩阵显示装置 12的第一基板 122及第二基板 123的讯号。
承上所述, 如图 1所示, 从编码讯号 ES耦合至操作装置 11而产生传送讯 号 TS , 然后传送讯号 TS再传送至无源矩阵显示装置 12而得到信息的过程中, 讯号经过了处理, 例如放大与解碼, 而这些处理过程可集中或分散于操作装置 11或无源矩阵显示装置 12, 使得传送讯号 TS具有触摸信息、 指令信息、 识别 信息、 交易信息、 档案信息或其它信息, 而无源矩阵显示装置 12得到的信息可 具有触摸信息、 指令信息、 识别信息、 交易信息、 档案信息或其它信息。
另外,操作装置 11与无源矩阵显示装置 12之间还可传送一反应 (Response ) 讯号 RS,反应讯号 RS可为一讯息通知无源矩阵显示装置 12关于操作装置 11的 接收状态; 亦可为一讯息通知操作装置 11准备接收讯号; 亦可为一操作装置 11 与无源矩阵显示装置 12之间同步用讯号。 如此可在讯号发射与接收间建立一互 动交谈机制。 另外, 反应讯号 RS 亦可兼做两者同步功能, 以构成一讯息交握 ( information handshaking) 过禾呈。 另外, 请参照图 6所示, 其为本发明第一实施例的无源矩阵显示装置 12的 外观示意图。
视觉接口系统 1还可包括一模式触发组件 127,一用户或操作装置可触发此 模式触发组件 127, 以启动无源矩阵显示装置 12进入一工作模式而发送编码讯 号 ES。 以触摸为例, 当用户需要利用触摸功能时, 才触碰模式触发组件 127 (例 如按压其按钮), 以启动无源矩阵显示装置 12进入触摸模式。 此时行电极或列 电极才传送编码讯号, 其余时间系统可以关闭全部或部分无源矩阵显示装置 12 的触摸功能, 如此可以防止触动屏幕造成误动作, 同时亦可节省电力。 注意此 模式触发组件 127 的工作模式可以有多种态样, 如单次触发后经一段时间即恢 复先前的状态、 每次触发即改变状态、 持续触发下才维持状态等方式。 另外需 注意的,模式触发组件 127亦可设置于操作装置 11上 (例如触摸笔上的一开关), 在此状况下, 当模式触发组件 127被触发后, 操作装置 11传送一触发讯号至无 源矩阵显示装置 12以使其进入触摸模式。 须注意在此所称的模式触发组件 127 其功能可以是单次触发的方式以切换触摸功能, 亦可以是用户必须保持接触以 切换触摸功能。 另外, 以门禁、 票卡、 信用卡、 或档案传输为例, 用户可通过 触发此模式触发组件 127, 以编号讯号来进行身份认证的数据传送功能, 例如将 数据传送到卡片阅读机、 或另一具有接收器的装置。 此外, 模式触发组件 127 可例如为一机械开关或为一触摸开关等。
请参照图 7所示, 其为本发明第一实施例的无源矩阵显示装置 12以及以用 户作为操作装置 11的示意图。
视觉接口系统 1还可包括一感应组件 128,感应组件 128与无源矩阵显示装 置 12 电性耦合, 而用户 (操作装置) 同时接触无源矩阵显示装置 12的显示面 121及感应组件 128, 以传送传送讯号 TS回无源矩阵显示装置 12。 意即将用户 作为传输导体而将传送讯号 TS传送至无源矩阵显示装置 12。具体的实际动作可 例如用户的右手在显示面 121上操作, 而左手按住感应组件 128, 如此, 编码讯 号 ES可从用户的右手进入, 而传送讯号 TS可从左手传出。 通过解析感应组件 128所接收的传送讯号 TS, 可以得到传送的信息。 感应组件 128亦可同时拥有 模式触发组件 127的功能, 例如当侦测到左手按住感应组件 128后, 方启动工 作模式, 其余时间则无。 如此可大幅降低功耗及误触等情况。
另外, 请参照图 8所示, 其为本发明第二实施例的一种视觉接口系统 la的 功能方块示意图。
视觉接口系统 la包括一操作装置 11以及一无源矩阵显示装置 12。 与第一实施例主要不同在于, 视觉接口系统 la还可包括至少一个中继装置 13, 而传送讯号 TS可通过中继装置 13传送至视觉接口系统 la以外的其它装置 或无源矩阵显示装置 12。 于此, 以用户的手来传送传送讯号 TS 至一中继装置 13, 经处理后再将中继处理讯号 IS回传至无源矩阵显示装置 12为例, 但以下 说明的技术特征皆可推及多个中继装置。 当然, 操作装置 11为用户时, 用户可 将传送讯号 TS传导至中继装置 13, 以进行讯号的传输, 而可不再回传讯号至无 源矩阵显示装置 12。此时中继装置 13可为一行动通讯装置, 例如为手机, 故可 通过用户作为媒介, 以将无源矩阵显示装置 12所发出的编码讯号 ES传送至中 继装置 13, 以用于档案数据的传输。
中继装置 13处理传送讯号 TS而得到一中继处理讯号 IS, 并将中继处理讯 号 IS传送至无源矩阵显示装置 12。从编码讯号 ES耦合至操作装置 11而产生传 送讯号 TS, 然后中继装置 13处理传送讯号 TS而得到中继处理讯号 IS, 并将中 继处理讯号 IS传送至无源矩阵显示装置 12而得到信息的过程中, 讯号经过了 一些处理, 例如放大、 解碼、 修改、 解读等, 而这些处理过程可集中或分散于 操作装置 11、 无源矩阵显示装置 12或中继装置 13。 结果使得传送讯号 TS具有 触摸信息、 指令信息、 识别信息、 交易信息、 档案信息或其它信息; 或, 中继 处理讯号 IS可具有触摸信息、 指令信息、 识别信息、 交易信息、 档案信息或其 它信息。
另外, 第一实施例的反应讯号 RS亦可应用于本实施例的操作装置 11及 /或 中继装置 13及 /或无源矩阵显示装置 12, 而在讯号发射与接收间建立一互动交 谈机制, 并且反应讯号 RS亦可兼做三者同步功能, 以构成三向交握(three-way handshake) 过程。
综上所述, 因本发明的视觉接口系统中, 当操作装置在无源矩阵显示装置 的显示面上操作时, 编码讯号可从无源矩阵显示装置耦合至操作装置, 而操作 装置可接收编码讯号而得到一传送讯号。 以触摸操作为例, 传送讯号可直接或 间接传送至无源矩阵显示装置, 并且在过程中可经过操作装置的处理、 及 /或至 少一个中继装置的处理、 及 /或无源矩阵显示装置的处理, 使得无源矩阵显示装 置得到编码讯号与传送讯号所内含的信息, 例如触摸信息、 指令信息、 识别信 息、 交易信息、 档案信息或其它信息。
由上可知, 本发明的视觉接口系统可直接应用于内含有无源矩阵结构的系 统, 例如无源矩阵液晶显示装置、 非挥发型显示装置、 触摸显示装置、 或无源 矩阵有机发光二极管显示装置等, 整合显示、 触摸与数据传输于一体, 进而使 产品轻薄化, 并降低成本以提升产品竞争力。 另外, 本发明将编码讯号耦合至 外部的操作装置, 而非由无源矩阵显示装置直接读取编码讯号, 因而在无源矩 阵显示装置上不需作布局上的改变, 例如在触摸应用上, 不需要在显示面板内 增加电容感应组件以侦测外界电容值的改变, 因而降低成本并缩短制程。
以上所述仅是举例性, 而非限制性。 任何未脱离本发明的精神与范畴, 而 对其进行的等效修改或变更, 均应包括在权利要求所限定的范围内。

Claims

权 利 要 求 书
1、 一种视觉接口系统, 其特征在于, 包括:
一操作装置; 以及
一无源矩阵显示装置, 包括:
一第一基板;
一显示面, 位于所述第一基板的一第一侧; 及
一第二基板, 位于所述第一基板与所述第一侧相对的一第二侧, 并与所述 第一基板相对而设,
其中, 当所述操作装置在所述无源矩阵显示装置的所述显示面上操作时, 一编码讯号从所述无源矩阵显示装置耦合至所述操作装置, 所述操作装置接收 所述编码讯号而得到一传送讯号。
2、 根据权利要求 1所述的视觉接口系统, 其特征在于, 所述传送讯号传送 至所述无源矩阵显示装置。
3、 根据权利要求 1所述的视觉接口系统, 其特征在于, 所述无源矩阵显示 装置具有至少一个电极设置于所述第一基板或所述第二基板, 所述编码讯号施 加于所述电极, 并从所述电极通过电容或电感耦合至所述操作装置。
4、 根据权利要求 3所述的视觉接口系统, 其特征在于, 所述电极为一独立 电极, 或为所述无源矩阵显示装置的多个电极的至少其中之一。
5、 根据权利要求 3所述的视觉接口系统, 其特征在于, 所述无源矩阵显示 装置处理所述传送讯号而得到一信息, 所述信息包括触摸信息、 指令信息、 识 别信息、 交易信息、 或档案信息。
6、 根据权利要求 5所述的视觉接口系统, 其特征在于, 所述触摸信息为所 述操作装置在所述显示面上的相对位置信息, 而所述传送讯号为来自所述第一 基板及所述第二基板的讯号。
7、 根据权利要求 1所述的视觉接口系统, 其特征在于, 还包括: 至少一个中继装置, 所述中继装置处理所述传送讯号而得到一中继处理讯 号。
8、 根据权利要求 7所述的视觉接口系统, 其特征在于, 所述中继处理讯号 传送至所述无源矩阵显示装置。
9、 根据权利要求 7所述的视觉接口系统, 其特征在于, 所述传送讯号包括 触摸信息、 指令信息、 识别信息、 交易信息、 或档案信息。
10、 根据权利要求 7所述的视觉接口系统, 其特征在于, 所述中继处理讯 号包括触摸信息、 指令信息、 识别信息、 交易信息、 或档案信息。
11、 根据权利要求 8所述的视觉接口系统, 其特征在于, 所述无源矩阵显 示装置处理所述中继处理讯号而得到一信息, 所述信息包括触摸信息、 指令信 息、 识别信息、 交易信息、 或档案信息。
12、 根据权利要求 1或 7所述的视觉接口系统, 其特征在于, 还包括: 一模式触发组件, 一用户或所述操作装置触发所述模式触发组件, 以启动 所述无源矩阵显示装置进入一工作模式而发送所述编码讯号。
13、 根据权利要求 1或 7所述的视觉接口系统, 其特征在于, 当所述操作 装置为一用户时, 所述视觉接口系统还包括一感应组件, 所述用户同时接触所 述显示面及所述感应组件, 以传送所述传送讯号至所述感应组件。
14、 根据权利要求 13所述的视觉接口系统, 其特征在于, 所述感应组件具 有模式触发功能, 所述用户接触所述感应组件以启动所述无源矩阵显示装置进 入一工作模式而发送所述编码讯号。
15、 根据权利要求 1所述的视觉接口系统, 其特征在于, 所述无源矩阵显 示装置还包括一显示介质层, 所述显示介质层夹置于所述第一基板与所述第二 基板之间。
16、 根据权利要求 1所述的视觉接口系统, 其特征在于, 所述无源矩阵显 示装置还包括:
多个列电极, 设置于所述第一基板的所述第二侧; 及
多个行电极, 设置于所述第二基板面对所述第一基板的一侧, 且所述列电 极与所述行电极交错设置。
17、 根据权利要求 1所述的视觉接口系统, 其特征在于, 所述编码讯号在 所述无源矩阵显示装置的显示画面更新的同时或显示画面更新间传送。
