- the lubricant component in the sizing agent remaining on the glass fine particle-attached fabric is liquefied, so that the fiber opening effect is increased.
- the film forming agent component of the sizing agent swells or gelatinizes, so that the lubricity between the glass filaments is improved, and the warp and weft yarns are more easily widened by the fiber opening process, and the opening of the sizing agent becomes easier.
- the fiber effect is further increased.
- the temperature of the liquid is preferably 95 ° C. or lower.
- step S3 When the above processing is performed and the opening process of step S3 is completed, for example, the opened fabric is first passed through a washing tank in which water is stored, and then the front and back surfaces of the opened fabric are washed with a washing shower. Next, after the silica fine particle-attached fabric is inserted into a pair of rollers facing each other and the spread fabric is squeezed, the heating process of step S4 is performed.

- the heating temperature of the spread fabric in the heat treatment is, for example, 300 to 450 ° C. Further, the heating time of the spread fabric in the heat treatment is 36 to 72 hours.
- the heat treatment in the heating process may cause a phenomenon that the glass filaments are in contact with each other, and a part of the glass filament is softened and the adjacent glass filaments are partially fused.
- the removal of the sizing agent by the heating process makes it easy for large deviations to occur in the glass fiber yarn, and depending on the type of fiber-spreading process that is performed after the heating process, wrinkles on the appearance such as curving may occur. May be easier.
- the adhesion process is performed before the heating process, thereby contributing to the improvement of the resin impregnation property of the glass fiber. That is, before the glass filaments are bonded or fused together, silica fine particles can be inserted between the glass filaments. For this reason, the silica fine particles sufficiently enter between the glass filaments by the adhering step, a gap between the glass filaments is secured, and the resin impregnation property is improved.
- the sizing agent since the sizing agent is not removed and remains on the glass fiber yarn in the fiber opening step, the sizing agent functions as a lubricant and contributes to excellent smoothness.
- the sizing agent is not removed and remains on the glass fiber yarn, so that a large deviation of the glass fiber yarn is prevented and appearance of wrinkles such as bends in the fiber opening process is generated. It is suppressed.
- this embodiment it contributes to the outstanding external appearance property by performing an adhesion process before a heating process. That is, in the adhering step, which is a pre-step of the heating step, silica fine particles enter between the glass filaments and a gap between the glass filaments is secured. Therefore, even if heat treatment is performed in the heating step, adhesion and melting of the glass filaments are performed. Wear can be suppressed. Thereby, even if it performs a fiber opening process after a heating process, the fiber opening effect is not diminished.

In these cases, there is a possibility that the excellent resin impregnation property due to the silica fine particles is lowered, and according to the present embodiment, the fear of the resin impregnation property can be avoided.
- the present embodiment contributes to stably maintaining the resin impregnation property by performing a heating step after the adhesion step. That is, most of the silica fine particles attached to the surface of the glass filament by the attaching step are fused to the surface of the glass filament by the heat treatment in the heating step. Therefore, in the case of continuous operation, it is necessary to prevent aggregation of silica fine particles by controlling the temperature with a cooling device. Moreover, in the case of intermittent operation, since the prevention of aggregation of silica fine particles by temperature control is incomplete, daily inspection of the apparatus is required. On the other hand, independent temperature control of the adhesion process and the fiber opening process makes it possible to reduce the risk of damaging the pipe drive unit and the like without imposing such a burden.
