- the outer pipe 64 is formed with a through hole having a diameter substantially equal to the outer diameter of the inner pipe 61 at the center, and the inner pipe 61 is inserted into the through hole.
- a plurality of suction holes 62 are formed in a row on at least the surface of the outer pipe 64 facing the other suction rod 60.
- the label L is sucked and held by the suction rod 60 through the plurality of suction holes 62.
- the row of the plurality of suction holes 62 is referred to as a “suction hole row”.
- the suction hole row formed in the first suction rod 60a is referred to as a “first suction hole row”
- the suction hole row formed in the second suction rod 60 is referred to as a “second suction hole row”.

- the first suction rod 60a has a plurality of suctions on a line (two-dot chain line in FIG. 8) that is inclined from the right side to the left side as it approaches the lower side.
- a plurality of suction holes 62b are arranged on a line (dashed line in FIG. 8) that is inclined from the left side to the right side as it approaches the lower side. Has been established.
- the suction holes 62 of each suction rod 60 are formed so that the lines connected in order from the top intersect with each other in a substantially X shape.
- the suction holes 62a of the first suction rod 60a and the suction holes 62b of the second suction rod 60b are shifted not only in the label width direction but also in the label height direction. Is forming.
- the outer pipe 64 of the present embodiment is divided into a first pipe 64k, a second pipe 64m, and a third pipe 64n in order from the top.
- the first pipe 64k is formed with suction holes on three side faces
- the second pipe 64m is formed with suction holes on four side faces.
- the suction hole arrays formed on the three side surfaces of the first pipe 64k are different from each other in length, and the suction hole arrays formed on the four side surfaces of the second pipe 64m are also connected to each other. Are different in length.
- the first pipe 64k and the second pipe 64m can rotate in the major axis direction independently of each other, and are communicated with the opposing surface of the opposing suction rod 60, and by extension, the hollow portion of the inner pipe 61 and the suction pump.
- the suction hole array can be switched. In other words, in this embodiment, the length of the suction hole row contributing to label suction can be selectively switched.
- the label L is sucked and held by a plurality of suction hole rows arranged vertically.
- the labels are held in a substantially linear shape by the suction holes 62 arranged in a line. Thereby, a label can be held more stably. This will be described in comparison with the prior art.
- FIG. 19 is a front view of a conventional label opener 90 disclosed in Patent Document 3 and the like
- FIG. 20 is a schematic top view of the label opener 90.
- a plurality of pairs of grip arms 94 for sucking and holding the label L are arranged in the label height direction.
- the pair of gripping arms 94 can be opened and closed with respect to each other.
- the pair of grip arms 94 that contribute to label suction can be switched as appropriate according to the length in the height direction of the label L that is actually opened. Even if the height direction length of the label is different, the vicinity of the upper end and the vicinity of the lower end of the label can be sucked and held. That is, according to this prior art, a total of four locations near the upper end of one side of the label, near the lower end of one side, near the upper end of the other side, and near the lower end of the other side are sucked and held.
- the number of label adsorbing portions is limited. Therefore, in order to ensure a sufficient adsorption force, the adsorption hole tends to have a large diameter.
- the suction hole has a large diameter, a part of the label is sucked into the suction hole, the opening shape becomes unstable, and there is a gap (leak) between the hole and the label. In some cases, it may cause a problem that a sufficient suction force cannot be obtained.
- sucked may cause the problem that it becomes difficult to open by the influence of the vacuum inside a label. Such a problem is particularly noticeable in a thin label having a thin label and no stiffness.
- the label L is sucked and held by the plurality of suction holes 62 arranged in the vertical direction. Since the label L is sucked and held by the plurality of suction holes 62, a sufficient holding force can be obtained even if each suction hole 62 is made smaller. As a result, the suction of the label L into the suction hole 62 can be effectively prevented. In addition, since both ends in the width direction of the label L are sucked in a substantially linear shape by the plurality of suction holes 62, it is possible to effectively prevent the problem that the portion that is not sucked becomes difficult to open due to the vacuum inside the label. Can do.
- the positions of the suction holes 62 formed in the suction rods 60 facing each other are slightly shifted. According to the applicant's experiment, with this configuration, the two overlapped films constituting the folded label L can be more easily separated, and the sheet-like label L can be opened more accurately.
- FIGS. 9A and 9B are image diagrams showing a state in which both sides of the sheet-like label L are sucked and opened.
- the upper row shows the case where the positions of the opposed suction holes 62 are substantially equal, and the lower row shows the opposite suction. The case where the position of the hole 62 has shifted is shown.
- the label L is folded into a sheet shape.
- two films constituting the label L are in a state of being in close contact with each other.
- FIG. 9a when the suction rods 60a and 60b are separated while sucking substantially equal positions of the two films, only a force in a direction perpendicular to the surface of the film acts on each film. Will not. In this case, it is presumed that the forces acting on both films are balanced and it is difficult to separate the two films.
- each film is pulled in the direction perpendicular to the film surface by the suction holes 62 that are in contact with each other, and at the same time, slightly positioned.
- the suction hole 62 on the opposite side is also pulled.
- the film constituting the label L also generates a force in the film surface direction. It is presumed that when the force in the surface direction acts, the film moves slightly in the lateral direction, the balance of the force is lost, and the two films are easily separated.
- the sheet-like label L can be opened more accurately by shifting the positions of the suction holes 62 formed in the opposing suction rod 60 from each other.
- the first suction hole row and the second suction hole row are substantially X-shaped, but at least a part of the first suction hole row and the second suction hole row is non-parallel. If it becomes, other arrangement
- FIG. 10 is a diagram showing an example of the arrangement of the suction hole arrays.

- a chain line is a suction formed in the second suction rod 60b.
- a line (second hole row line) connecting the holes 62b in order from the top is shown.
- the suction holes 62 are arranged so that the first hole row line and the second hole row line intersect with each other.
- the suction holes 62 may be arranged so that the second hole row line has a substantially “ ⁇ ” shape that is symmetrical with respect to the first hole row line.
- the suction holes 62 may be arranged so that the first hole row line and the second hole row line intersect in a zigzag manner.
- the suction holes 62 are arranged so that the first hole row lines and the second hole row lines are substantially Y-shaped. Also good.
- the position of the suction hole 62 is shifted in the label height direction, but it is not always necessary to be shifted. However, in order to stably open the label, it is desirable to arrange the suction holes 62 so that the first hole row line and the second hole row line are symmetrical with each other.
- the length in the height direction of the label L currently being handled is not uniform, and labels L having various lengths are known depending on the corresponding product type. It is necessary to switch the length of the suction hole row that contributes to suction according to the difference in the length of the label L in the height direction. This is to prevent defective holding of the label L and leakage during suction. That is, when the suction hole array that contributes to suction is short although the length in the height direction of the label L2 is long, as shown in FIG. 11h, the upper side or the lower side of the label L2 is not sucked and held. Some droop or cannot open.
- suction hole rows having different row lengths are formed on two or more side surfaces of each suction rod 60, and the opposite surfaces are switched by rotating the suction rod 60 around the major axis.
- the suction hole row contributing to the suction of the label is switched.
- each suction rod 60 is divided into a plurality (three in this embodiment) in the height direction, and can be rotated around the major axis for each divided portion.
- FIGS. 11a to 11h are diagrams showing how the lengths of the suction hole arrays contributing to suction are changed in the present embodiment.
- the first pipe 64k when the first pipe 64k is rotated around the major axis, the upper end height of the suction hole row gradually decreases as shown in FIGS. 11a to 11d.
- the second pipe 64m When the second pipe 64m is rotated around the major axis, the upper end height of the suction hole row gradually decreases as shown in FIGS. 11e to 11h. Go.
- the combination of the opposing surface of a 1st pipe and a 2nd pipe is switched suitably, and more various labels L can be hold
- the length of the suction hole array is changed by the rotation of the pipe that is visible to the user as the outer pipe 64. By adopting such a configuration, it is possible to effectively prevent erroneous selection of the length of the suction hole array.
- the outer pipe 64 has a substantially square cross section, but the cross sectional shape is a polygon with more faces (for example, a pentagon or a hexagon), and the total length of the suction hole array contributing to suction is further increased. You may make it change in multiple steps.
- the third pipe 64n is not rotated, but the third pipe may be configured to be rotatable, and suction hole arrays having different lengths may be formed on each side surface.
- the eaves raising / lowering mechanism is a mechanism for elevating and lowering the four suction rods 60 in accordance with the state of the fitting process.
- This bag elevating mechanism has substantially the same configuration as the take-up elevating mechanism. That is, the eaves raising / lowering mechanism includes a cam groove 83b (see FIG. 6) formed in the lower cam cylindrical body 39b, a cam block 83a fitted in the cam groove 83b, the linear guide 22 for guiding the raising / lowering operation, and the base plate 67.
- a connecting plate 69 that connects the base plate 67 and the four suction rods 60 is provided.
- the lower cam cylinder 39b is a substantially cylindrical member provided concentrically with the rotation axis O1.
- cam grooves 83b that define the lifting and lowering modes of the four suction rods 60 are formed.
- the cam block 83a is a block body fitted in the cam groove 83b, and moves up and down along the cam groove 83b as the fitted head 6 (and thus the opener mechanism 50) moves along the circular conveyance path. The raising / lowering operation of the cam block 83 a is transmitted to the four suction rods 60 through the base plate 67 and the connecting plate 69.
- the scissors driving mechanism is a mechanism for bringing the suction scissors 60 facing each other closer to or away from each other according to the situation of the fitting process.
- the scissor driving mechanism is further roughly divided into a first scissor driving mechanism that moves the first suction scissor 60a and a second scissor driving mechanism that moves the second suction scissor 60b. Since the first rod drive mechanism and the second rod drive mechanism have basically the same configuration, only the configuration of the first rod drive mechanism will be described below.
- the first saddle drive mechanism includes a support arm 58a, an upper cam cylinder 39u, a cam block 81a, a transmission member group, and the like.
- the upper cam cylinder 39u is a substantially cylindrical member provided concentrically with the rotation axis O1, and a cam groove 81b (see FIG. 6) that defines the movement mode of the first suction rod 60a is formed on the surface thereof.
- the cam block 81a is a block body fitted in the cam groove 81b, and moves up and down along the cam groove 81b as the fitted head 6 (and thus the opener mechanism 50) moves along the circular conveyance path.
- the raising / lowering operation of the cam block 81a is converted into a rotational motion by the transmission member group and then transmitted to the support arm 58a holding the first suction rod 60a.
- the transmission member group first converts the raising / lowering operation of the cam block 81 a into an advancing / retreating operation in a horizontal plane by the cam plate 77, the cam follower 76, and the coil spring 80, and transmits it to the rack 70.
- the cam plate 77 is a plate member connected to the cam block 81a and has a substantially triangular shape that becomes narrower as it approaches the lower end.
- the cam follower 76 is a member that is in contact with the side end surface of the cam plate 77 and is fixed to the rack 70.
- the rack 70 When the cam plate 77 is lowered and the cam follower 76 is pushed leftward in the drawing in FIG. 13, the rack 70 also moves leftward in the drawing.
- the rack 70 is connected to a coil spring 80 for urging the rack 70 in the right direction in FIG. 13 so that when the cam plate 77 is raised, the rack 70 returns to the right direction in the drawing. It has become.
- the forward / backward movement of the rack 70 is further transmitted as rotational movement to the two support arms 58a via the four pinions 71, 73, 75, 59 and the connecting shafts 72, 74. That is, the first pinion 71 and the second pinion 73 mesh with the rack 70. Of these, the rotation of the first pinion 71 is transmitted to the support arm 58a on the left side of the drawing via the connecting shaft 72. On the other hand, the rotation of the second pinion 73 is transmitted to the third pinion 75 via the rotation shaft 74. The rotation transmitted to the third pinion 75 is converted into a reverse rotation by the fourth pinion 59 meshing with the third pinion 75 and transmitted to the support arm 58a on the right side of the drawing.
- the amount of movement of the suction rod 60 is changed by changing the contact relationship between the cam plate 77 and the cam follower 76.
- the contact relationship between the cam plate 77 and the cam follower 76 can be changed according to the relative height of the upper cam cylinder 39u (and thus the cam groove 81b) with respect to the lower cam cylinder 39d.
- the amount of movement of the suction rod 60 can be changed simply by raising and lowering the upper cam cylinder 39u and consequently the cam groove 81b relative to the lower cam cylinder 39d. It has become.
- FIG. 21 is a diagram showing a contact relationship between the cam plate 77 and the cam follower 76.
- the cam plate 77 has a substantially triangular shape that becomes narrower as it approaches the tip.
- a straight portion 77b having a constant width is connected to the tip of a substantially triangular inclined portion 77a that becomes narrower as it approaches the tip.
- the difference in the initial height of the cam plate 77 with respect to the cam follower 76 is the amount of movement of the cam follower 76, and hence the amount of movement of the suction rod 60.
- the cam follower 76 quickly comes into contact with the inclined portion 77a as the cam plate 77 descends.
- the moving amount (opening amount) of the suction rod 60 can be changed by changing the initial height of the cam plate 77.
- the initial height of the cam plate 77 can be changed by moving the upper cam cylinder 39u up and down relative to the lower cam cylinder 39d.
- the upper cam cylinder 39u is shared by the plurality of fitted heads 6, the amount of movement of the suction rod 60 in the plurality of fitted heads 6 can be increased by simply moving up and down one upper cam cylinder 39u. It can be changed in a batch. Therefore, even if the diameter (width direction length) of the label L to handle is different, it can respond easily.
- the diameter of the label L currently handled is not uniform, and labels L of various diameters are known depending on the corresponding product type.
- the slightly small-diameter label L is opened as shown in FIG. 14a
- it is necessary to slightly reduce the movement amount of the suction rod 60 the rotation amount of the support arms 58a and 58b.
- the slightly large-diameter label L when the slightly large-diameter label L is opened, the moving amount of the suction rod 60 (the amount of rotation of the support arms 58a and 58b) needs to be slightly increased.
- the amount of movement of the suction rod 60 can be varied by raising and lowering the upper cam cylinder 39u, it is possible to easily cope with such a change in the diameter of the label L.
- the amount of movement of the suction rod 60 can be changed by changing the number of teeth of the pinions 71, 73, 75, 59 and the rack 70 described above, not the relative height of the upper cam cylinder 39u.
- the pinions 71, 73, 75, 59 and the rack 70 are provided for each fitted head 6. Therefore, in order to change the moving amount of the suction rod 60, it is necessary to exchange parts for all the fitted heads 6, and it can be said that it is troublesome.
- the upper cam cylinder 39u shared by the plurality of fitted heads 6 is lifted and lowered with respect to the lower cam cylinder 39d as in the present embodiment, the labor for such component replacement is greatly increased. Can be reduced.
- FIG. 22 A mechanism for raising and lowering the upper cam cylinder 39u with respect to the lower cam cylinder 39d will be briefly described with reference to FIG.
- the upper cam cylinder 39 u and the lower cam cylinder 39 d are both supported by a support body 84.
- the support body 84 moves up and down as the belt 86 circulates and moves according to driving of a motor (not shown). That is, as the belt 86 is circulated, the screw 87a around which the belt 86 is wound rotates.
- the screw 87a is screwed into a nut 87b fixed to the frame, and moves up and down with rotation.
- the support body 84 raises / lowers when the screw 87a raises / lowers.
- the height of the to-be-fitted body B to be handled and the label mounting height can be variously changed by raising and lowering the upper cam cylinder 39u and the lower cam cylinder 39d in conjunction with each other.
- the upper cam cylinder 39u is connected to the support body 84 via the elevating body 85, and the upper cam cylinder 39u is moved up and down with respect to the support body 84, thereby lowering the upper cam cylinder 39u.
- the body 39d can be moved up and down relatively.
- the lifting / lowering body 85 is lifted / lowered by circulating and moving the belt 88 according to the drive of a motor (not shown). That is, as the belt 88 circulates, the screw 85a around which the belt 88 is wound rotates.
- the screw 85a is screwed into a nut 85b fixed to the support 84, and moves up and down with rotation.
- the upper cam cylinder 39u moves up and down with respect to the upper cam cylinder 39d, and as a result, the amount of movement of the suction rod 60 is changed. In other words, the amount of movement of the suction rod 60 can be easily changed by driving this motor.
- the lifting mechanism described here is merely an example, and other configurations may be used as long as the upper cam cylindrical body 39u can be lifted and lowered relative to the lower cam cylindrical body 39d.
- FIGS. 15 and 16 are views showing the state of the fitted head 6 at each of the positions S1 to S8 (see FIG. 2). Moreover, the upper stage shows a schematic top view of the suction rod 60 at each position.
- the take-up member 43 rises to a height that passes the lower feed belt 16c and starts a suction operation.
- the label L folded into a sheet shape from 16c is sucked and held.
- the label L is peeled off from the lower feed belt 16c and moved by moving in the direction perpendicular to the paper surface.
- the first suction rod 60a and the second suction rod 60b are in close proximity to each other at a position above the fitted body B, and receive another label L previously delivered from the take-up member 43 from both sides. Holding suction.
- the first suction rod 60a and the second suction rod 60b move in directions away from each other while holding both surfaces of the label L by suction, and the label L folded into a sheet shape. Is opened in a cylindrical shape.
- the label L is carried to the fitting height which can be regarded as completion of fitting.
- the cylindrical labels sucked and held by the four suction rods 60 are put into a fitted state arranged around the outer circumference of the fitted body B.
- the fitting process can be appropriately performed even for the thin label L. That is, many of the conventional label fitting devices use an opener, a mandrel or the like to lower the label to the middle of the fitted body, and then press the upper end of the label with some pressing member to push it down to the fitted height. It was. However, when such a push-down method is employed when the label is thin and the stiffness is poor, there is a problem that the label is bent during the push-down and the label cannot be properly fitted.
- the label is carried to the specified fitting height while the label L is held by the four suction rods 60, so that problems such as bending occur even if the label is thin. Hateful. Therefore, even if it is the thin label L, a covering process can be performed appropriately.
- the suction rod 60 stops the suction operation and releases the holding of the label L. Then, as shown in FIG. 16a, the four suction rods 60 rise to the same height as the take-up member 43, above the fitting body B, with the opposing suction rods being separated from each other. .
- the take-up member 43 lifts the label L to the upper side as shown in FIG. .
- the head pressing member 47 that holds the head of the fit body B also rises.
- the fitted object B fitted with the label is carried out to the fitted object carrying-out device 5.
- the fitted head 6 and the mounting table 31 reach the fitted body supply position S ⁇ b> 7, a new fitted body B before the label is fitted is supplied and placed on the mounting table 31.
- the second suction rod 60b moves in the proximity direction and starts a suction operation to suck and hold the other surface of the label L. Thereafter, the state of FIG. 15a is obtained again, and the same procedure is repeated thereafter.
- the label L when the label L is delivered from the lower feed belt 16c to the take-up member 43 and from the take-up member 43 to the opener mechanism 50, the label L There is no movement in the label width direction. As a result, the shift in the width direction of the label L with respect to the opener mechanism 50 can be effectively prevented.
- the label L can be stably opened by holding the label L in a linear shape with the four suction rods 60 in which the plurality of suction holes 62 are formed in a row. Further, by slightly shifting the position of the suction hole 62 between the opposing suction rods 60, the two folded films can be separated more accurately, and the label L can be opened more stably. it can.
- the structure mentioned above is an example, and when the take-up member incorporated in the fitting head passes through the label supply position, it sucks the label held by the label supply mechanism and moves in the transport path traveling direction. As long as the label is received away from the label supply unit, other configurations may be changed as appropriate.
