Abstract
Description
また、粉体塗料、電子写真トナー、静電記録トナーに用いられる樹脂粒子に関して、結晶化度と融点及び分子量を調整することにより低温溶融可能な樹脂粒子が提案されており、これをスラッシュ成形用材料にも用いられる旨述べられている。(例えば特許文献2、3参照)
本発明の課題は、低温溶融性に優れ、かつ成形物の引張強度、伸びともに優れたスラッシュ成形用材料を提供することを目的とする。
すなわち本発明は、高分子ジオール(A)と、ジイソシアネート(B)とを反応させて得られる熱可塑性ウレタン樹脂であって、高分子ジオール(A)が、0~70℃のガラス転移温度を有するポリエステルジオール(A1)、及び該(A1)の溶解度パラメーターよりも1.2~3.0低い溶解度パラメーターを有し、かつ-40~-75℃のガラス転移温度を有する高分子ジオール(A2)を含有する熱成形用熱可塑性ウレタン樹脂(D);該熱成形用熱可塑性ウレタン樹脂(D)を含有する熱成形用熱可塑性ウレタン樹脂粒子(K);該熱成形用熱可塑性ウレタン樹脂粒子(K)及び添加剤(F)を含有するスラッシュ成形用ウレタン樹脂粒子組成物(P);該熱成形用熱可塑性ウレタン樹脂粒子(K)又は該スラッシュ成形用ウレタン樹脂粒子組成物(P)を熱成形してなるウレタン樹脂成形物である。
ポリエステルジオール(A1)としては、炭素数2~4の脂肪族ジオールと芳香族ジカルボン酸とが重縮合されて得られるものが挙げられる。
炭素数2~4の脂肪族ジオールとしては、エチレングリコール、1,3-プロパンジオール及び1,4-ブタンジオールが挙げられる。これらのうち、好ましくはエチレングリコールである。
芳香族ジカルボン酸としては、テレフタル酸、イソフタル酸、オルトフタル酸、t-ブチルイソフタル酸、2,6-ナフタレンジカルボン酸、4,4’-ビフェニルジカルボン酸などが挙げられる。
これらのうち、好ましくはテレフタル酸、イソフタル酸、及びオルトフタル酸からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種のフタル酸(G)であり、特に好ましくはテレフタル酸とイソフタル酸の混合物、及びテレフタル酸とオルトフタル酸の混合物であり、最も好ましくはテレフタル酸/イソフタル酸の混合物である。
具体的には、テレフタル酸、イソフタル酸及びオルトフタル酸からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種のフタル酸(G)とエチレングリコールを必須成分とするポリエステルジオール(A11)並びに、該(G)とテトラメチレングリコールを必須成分とするポリエステルジオール(A12)などが挙げられる。
これらのなかで、成形物の引張強度、伸びの観点から(A11)が好ましい。
ここで、本発明ではフタル酸とはテレフタル酸、イソフタル酸、及びオルトフタル酸からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種を表すものとする。
ポリエステルジオール中に含まれる芳香族ジカルボン酸成分は単一成分であっても良いが、2成分以上からなるものでも良い。
酸成分が2成分場合は、テレフタル酸/イソフタル酸、テレフタル酸/オルトフタル酸、イソフタル酸/オルトフタル酸の混合物等が挙げられ、そのモル比は通常、50/50である。
(A1)のTgは、好ましくは10~60℃、さらに好ましくは20~50℃である。
ポリエステルジオール(A1)の数平均分子量は800~5000であることが好ましく、800~4000がさらに好ましく、900~3000であることが最も好ましい。
本発明のウレタン樹脂(D)は、ポリエステルジオール(A1)と高分子ジオール(A2)のSP値の差が大きいため、両者がミクロ相分離することで、(A1)がエラストマーのハードセグメント、(A2)がソフトセグメントを形成していると考えられる。
[(A1)のSP値]-[(A2)のSP値]を△SPで表す。
△SPが1.2未満では(A1)と(A2)の相溶性が良いために、(A1)と(A2)は、ともにソフトセグメントとして機能するために、引張強度が高くならない。
△SPが3.0を超える高分子ジオール(A)は、ウレタン化反応時に2相分離してしまうため、ウレタン樹脂とすることが困難である。
-40℃を超えると、ウレタン樹脂(D)の低温(例えば-35℃)引張物性が悪化する。-75℃より低いTgを有する通常の熱可塑性ウレタン樹脂は得られない。
脂肪族ジカルボン酸としては、炭素数4~15の脂肪族ジカルボン酸が好ましく、具体的にはコハク酸、アジピン酸、アゼライン酸、セバチン酸、フマル酸及びマレイン酸等が挙げられる。
これらのうち好ましいものは、2価フェノール類にアルキレンオキサイドが付加したものであり、さらに好ましいものは2価フェノール類にエチレンオキサイド(以下EOと記載。)が付加したものである。
機器:RDC220ロボットDSC[セイコーインストルメンツ(株)製]
測定条件:サンプル量5mg。
(1)-100℃から昇温速度20℃/minで100℃まで昇温し、100℃で10分保持。
(2)100℃から冷却速度-90℃/minで-100℃まで冷却し、-100℃で10分保持。
(3)-100℃から昇温速度20℃/minで100℃まで昇温する。
解析方法:2度目の昇温時のDSC曲線のピークの接線の交点をガラス転移温度とする。
なお、溶解度パラメーターは、次式で表せる。
SP値(δ)=(ΔH/V)1/2
ただし、式中、ΔHはモル蒸発熱(cal/mol)を、Vはモル体積(cm3/mol)を表す。
また、ΔH及びVは、「POLYMER
ENGINEERING AND FEBRUARY,1974,Vol.14,No.2,ROBERT
F.FEDORS.(151~153頁)」に記載の原子団のモル蒸発熱の合計(ΔH)とモル体積の合計(V)を用いることができる。
この数値が近いもの同士はお互いに混ざりやすく(相溶性が高い)、この数値が離れているものは混ざりにくいことを表す指標である。
ポリエステルジオール(A3):エチレングリコールと炭素数4~10の脂肪族ジオールと、テレフタル酸、イソフタル酸、およびオルトフタル酸からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種のフタル酸(G)と炭素数4~15の脂肪族ジカルボン酸を必須成分とするポリエステルジオール
(A1)と(A21)の混合比(重量)は(A1)/(A21)が0.5~5であることが好ましい。
(A3)の含有量は、(A1)の重量に対して5~100重量%が好ましく、5~70重量%がさらに好ましく、5~50重量%が最も好ましい。
低分子ジアミンもしくは低分子ジオール(C)の具体例は以下の通りである。
脂肪族系ジアミンとしては、炭素数6~18の脂環族ジアミン[4,4’-ジアミノ-3,3’-ジメチルジシクロヘキシルメタン、4,4’-ジアミノジシクロヘキシルメタン、ジアミノシクロヘキサン、イソホロンジアミン等];炭素数2~12の脂肪族ジアミン[エチレンジアミン、プロピレンジアミン、ヘキサメチレンジアミン等];炭素数8~15の芳香脂肪族ジアミン[キシリレンジアミン、α,α,α’,α’-テトラメチルキシリレンジアミン等]及びこれらの2種以上の混合物が挙げられる。これらのうち好ましいものは脂環族ジアミン及び脂肪族ジアミンであり、特に好ましいものはイソホロンジアミン及びヘキサメチレンジアミンである。
(A1)がウレタン基、ウレア基と同じようなハードセグメントの働きをすることで、高物性が発現し、熱可塑性ウレタン樹脂の溶融性に影響が大きいウレア基、ウレタン基濃度を下げることができるため、溶融性が向上し、かつ物性との両立が可能になっていると考えられる。このように溶解度パラメーターが高い凝集力の強いポリエステルジオールと、溶解度パラメーターが低い高分子ジオールの組み合わせにより、本発明のウレタン樹脂の特徴である溶解性と、引張強度、伸び、耐摩耗性の両立が可能となる。この特性は特に両者の重量比が(A1)/(A2)が5/95~80/20で顕著に現れる。
ウレタン樹脂(D)の分子量を調整する方法として、1官能のアルコールでイソシアネート基末端ウレタンプレポリマーのイソシアネート基を一部ブロックすることで調整できる。上記モノオールとしては、炭素数1~8の脂肪族モノオール類[直鎖モノオール(メタノール、エタノール、プロパノール、ブタノール、ペンタノール、ヘキサノール、オクタノールなど)、分岐鎖を有するモノオール(イソプロピルアルコール、ネオペンチルアルコール、3-メチル-ペンタノール、2-エチルヘキサノール)など];炭素数6~10の環状基を有するモノオール類[脂環基含有モノオール(シクロヘキサノールなど)、芳香環含有モノオール(ベンジルアルコールなど)など]及びこれらの2種以上の混合物が挙げられる。これらのうち好ましいものは脂肪族モノオールである。また高分子モノオールとしては、ポリエステルモノオール、ポリエーテルモノオール、ポリエーテルエステルモノオール及びこれら2種以上の混合物が挙げられる。
(1)あらかじめポリエステルジオール(A1)と高分子ジオール(A2)の混合物を含有させた高分子ジオール(A)とジイソシアネート(B)を反応させ、末端にイソシアネート基を有するポリウレタンプレポリマー(U)を製造しておき、次いで必要により該プレポリマー(U)と低分子ジアミンもしくは低分子ジオール(C)を混合して伸長させウレタン樹脂とする方法。また、ポリウレタンプレポリマー(U)を水中で混合することで、ポリウレタンプレポリマー(U)の末端のイソシアネート基と水を反応させウレタン樹脂とする方法。
(2)(A)、(B)及び必要により(C)をワンショットで混合し、反応させる方法などが挙げられる。
ウレタン樹脂(D)を製造する際の反応温度は、ウレタン化を行う際に通常採用される温度と同じでよく、溶剤を使用する場合は通常20~100℃であり、溶剤を使用しない場合は通常20~140℃、好ましくは80~130℃である。上記プレポリマー化反応において、反応を促進するために必要によりポリウレタンに通常用いられる触媒を使用することができる。該触媒としては、例えばアミン系触媒[トリエチルアミン、N-エチルモルホリン、トリエチレンジアミンなど]、錫系触媒[トリメチルチンラウレート、ジブチルチンジラウレート、ジブチルチンマレートなど]などが挙げられる。
(D)の130℃の貯蔵弾性率G’は、耐熱性の観点から、2.0×106~1.0×108dyn/cm2が好ましく、さらに好ましくは5.0×106~5.0×107dyn/cm2である。
(D)の180℃の貯蔵弾性率G’は、低温溶融性の観点から、1.0×103~1.0×105dyn/cm2が好ましく、さらに好ましくは5.0×103~5.0×104dyn/cm2である。
(1)ポリエステルジオール(A1)及び高分子ジオール(A2)を溶融混合した後、これらの水酸基とジイソシアネート(B)のイソシアネート基のモル比が、1:1.2~1:4.0となるように反応させて得られるウレタンプレポリマー(U)を、水及び分散安定剤存在下で、必要により低分子ジオール、もしくは低分子ジアミン(C)で伸長反応させる方法で(E)を製造することができる。
低分子ジアミンはブロックされた直鎖脂肪族ジアミン(C)(例えばケチミン化合物)などを使用することができる。
(2)上記ウレタンプレポリマー(U)を、非極性有機溶媒及び分散安定剤存在下で、低分子ジオールもしくは低分子ジアミン(C)で伸長反応させる方法で(E)を製造することができる。
(3)ジイソシアネート(B)と高分子ジオール(A)と低分子ジオールもしくは低分子ジアミン(C)とを反応させることで熱可塑性ポリウレタン樹脂の塊状物を得る。ついで粉末化(例えば冷凍粉砕、溶融状態下に細孔を通し切断する方法)する方法で(E)を製造することができる。
無機フィラーの添加量(重量%)は、(D)の重量に対して、0~40が好ましく、1~20がより好ましい。
顔料粒子の添加量(重量%)は、(D)の重量に対して、0~5が好ましく、1~3がより好ましい。
可塑剤の添加量(重量%)は、(D)の重量に対して、0~50が好ましく、5~20がより好ましい。
離型剤の添加量(重量%)は、(D)の重量に対して、0~1が好ましく、0.1~0.5がより好ましい。
安定剤の添加量(重量%)は、(D)の重量に対して、0~20が好ましく、1~15がより好ましい。
無機系ブロッキング防止剤としてはシリカ、タルク、酸化チタン及び炭酸カルシウム等が挙げられる。
有機系ブロッキング防止剤としては粒子径10μm以下の熱硬化性樹脂(熱硬化性ポリウレタン樹脂、グアナミン系樹脂及びエポキシ系樹脂等)及び粒子径10μm以下の熱可塑性樹脂(熱可塑性ポリウレタンウレア樹脂及びポリ(メタ)アクリレート樹脂等)等が挙げられる。
ブロッキング防止剤(流動性向上剤)の添加量(重量%)は、(D)の重量に対して、0~5が好ましく、0.5~1がより好ましい。
上記金型温度は好ましくは200~300℃、さらに好ましくは210~280℃である。
本発明のウレタン樹脂粒子組成物(P)で成形された樹脂成形品は、自動車内装材、例えばインストルメントパネル、ドアトリム等に好適に使用される。
本発明のウレタン樹脂粒子組成物(P)の130℃の貯蔵弾性率G’は、耐熱性の観点から、1.0×106~5.0×107dyn/cm2が好ましく、さらに好ましくは5.0×106~5.0×107dyn/cm2である。
本発明のウレタン樹脂粒子組成物(P)の180℃の貯蔵弾性率G’は、低温溶融性の観点から、1.0×103~1.0×105dyn/cm2が好ましく、さらに好ましくは5.0×103~5.0×104dyn/cm2である。
ジアミンのMEKケチミン化物の製造
ヘキサメチレンジアミンと過剰のMEK(メチルエチルケトン;ジアミンに対して4倍モル量)を80℃で24時間還流させながら生成水を系外に除去した。その後減圧にて未反応のMEKを除去してMEKケチミン化物を得た。
ポリエチレンフタレート(テレフタル酸/イソフタル酸=50/50)(A1-1)の製造
冷却管、撹拌機及び窒素導入管の付いた反応槽中に、テレフタル酸393部、イソフタル酸393部、エチレングリコール606部を入れ、210℃で窒素気流下に生成する水を留去しながら5時間反応させた後、5~20mmHgの減圧下で反応させ、所定の軟化点でポリエチレンフタレートジオール(A1-1)を取り出した。回収されたエチレングリコールは245部であった。得られたポリエチレンフタレートジオールの水酸基価を測定し、数平均分子量(以下Mnと記す)を計算した結果900であった。ガラス転移温度は20℃であった。
同様の製造方法で減圧時間の調整により、Mnが2500のポリエチレンフタレートジオール(A1-2)を得た。回収エチレングリコールは270部であった。ガラス転移温度は50℃であった。
同様の製造方法で減圧時間の調整により、Mnが5000のポリエチレンフタレートジオール(A1-3)を得た。回収エチレングリコールは305部であった。ガラス転移温度は65℃であった。
ポリエチレンフタレート(テレフタル酸/オルトフタル酸=50/50)(A1-4)の製造
冷却管、撹拌機及び窒素導入管の付いた反応槽中に、テレフタル酸393部、オルトフタル酸393部、エチレングリコール606部を入れ、210℃で窒素気流下に生成する水を留去しながら5時間反応させた後、5~20mmHgの減圧下で反応させ、所定の軟化点でポリエチレンフタレートジオール(A1-4)を取り出した。回収されたエチレングリコールは270部であった。得られたポリエチレンフタレートジオールの水酸基価を測定し、Mnを計算した結果2500であった。ガラス転移温度は35℃であった。
ポリエチレンフタレート(テレフタル酸単独)(A1-5)の製造
冷却管、撹拌機及び窒素導入管の付いた反応槽中に、テレフタル酸786部、エチレングリコール606部を入れ、210℃で窒素気流下に生成する水を留去しながら5時間反応させた後、5~20mmHgの減圧下で反応させ、所定の軟化点でポリエチレンフタレートジオール(A1-5)を取り出した。回収されたエチレングリコールは245部であった。得られたポリエチレンフタレートジオールの水酸基価を測定し、Mnを計算した結果900であった。ガラス転移温度は25℃であった。
同様の製造方法でテレフタル酸786部をイソフタル酸786部に変更することで、Mnが900のポリエチレンフタレートジオール(A1-6)を得た。ガラス転移温度は15℃であった。
同様の製造方法でテレフタル酸786部をオルトフタル酸786部に変更することで、Mnが900のポリエチレンフタレートジオール(A1-7)を得た。ガラス転移温度は5℃であった。
ポリテトラメチレンフタレート(テレフタル酸/イソフタル酸=50/50)(A1-8)の製造

エチレングリコール、ブチレングリコール、フタル酸(テレフタル酸/イソフタル酸=50/50)、アジピン酸の重縮合物(A3-1)の製造
冷却管、撹拌機および窒素導入管の付いた反応槽中に、テレフタル酸181部、イソフタル酸181部、アジピン酸338部、エチレングリコール166部、ブチレングリコール256部を入れ、210℃で窒素気流下に生成する水を留去しながら5時間反応させた後、5~20mmHgの減圧下で反応させ、エチレングリコール、ブチレングリコール、フタル酸(テレフタル酸/イソフタル酸=50/50)、アジピン酸の重縮合物(A3-1)を取り出した。得られた(A3-1)の水酸基価を測定し、Mnを計算した結果950であった。(A3-1)は、仕込み量から(A1-1)/(A2-1)が1に相当する。
ポリエチレンフタレート(テレフタル酸/イソフタル酸=50/50)(A1-1)とポリブチレンアジペート(A2-1)のエステル交換反応物(A3-2)の製造
撹拌機が付いた密閉した反応槽中に、Mnが900のポリエチレンフタレート(テレフタル酸/イソフタル酸=50/50)(A1-1)333部、Mn1000のポリブチレンアジペート(A2-1)671部を入れ、180℃で5時間反応させ、900のポリエチレンフタレート(テレフタル酸/イソフタル酸=50/50)(A1-1)とMn1000のポリブチレンアジペート(A2-1)のMn965のエステル交換反応物(A3-2)を取り出した。得られた(A3-1)の水酸基価を測定し、Mnを計算した結果965であった。(A3-2)は、仕込み量から(A1-1)/(A2-1)が0.5に相当する。
ポリエチレンフタレート(テレフタル酸/イソフタル酸=50/50)(A1-1)とポリブチレンアジペート(A2-1)のエステル交換反応物(A3-3)の製造
撹拌機が付いた密閉した反応槽中に、Mnが900のポリエチレンフタレート(テレフタル酸/イソフタル酸=50/50)(A1-1)833部、Mn1000のポリブチレンアジペート(A2-1)167部を入れ、180℃で5時間反応させ、900のポリエチレンフタレート(テレフタル酸/イソフタル酸=50/50)(A1-1)とMn1000のポリブチレンアジペート(A2-1)のMn915のエステル交換反応物(A3-3)を取り出した。得られた(A3-3)の水酸基価を測定し、Mnを計算した結果965であった。(A3-3)は、仕込み量から(A1-1)/(A2-1)が5に相当する。
プレポリマー溶液(U-1)の製造
温度計、撹拌機及び窒素吹込み管を備えた反応容器に、ポリエステルジオール(A1-1)(304部)、Mnが1000のポリブチレンアジペート[高分子ジオール(A2-1)](ガラス転移温度-60℃)(1214部)、1-オクタノール(27.6部)を仕込み、窒素置換した後、撹拌しながら110℃に加熱して溶融させ、60℃まで冷却した。続いて、ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート(313.2部)を投入し、85℃で6時間反応させた。次いで、60℃に冷却した後、テトラヒドロフラン(317部)、及び安定剤[チバスペシャリティーケミカルズ(株)社製

温度計、撹拌機及び窒素吹込み管を備えた反応容器に、ポリエステルジオール(A1-1)(253部)、エチレングリコール、ブチレングリコール、フタル酸(テレフタル酸/イソフタル酸=50/50)、アジピン酸の重縮合物(A3-1)(253部)を仕込み、100℃に加熱した後、Mnが1000のポリブチレンアジペート[高分子ジオール(A2-1)](ガラス転移温度-60℃)(1013部)、1-オクタノール(27.6部)を仕込み、窒素置換した後、撹拌しながら110℃に加熱して溶融させ、60℃まで冷却した。続いて、ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート(312.2部)を投入し、85℃で6時間反応させた。次いで、60℃に冷却した後、テトラヒドロフラン(317部)、及び安定剤(2.7部)[チバスペシャリティーケミカルズ(株)社製
イルガノックス1010]、カーボンブラック(1部)を加え、均一に混合してプレポリマー溶液(U-15)を得た。得られたプレポリマー溶液のNCO含量は、0.8%であった。
熱可塑性ウレタン樹脂粒子(K-1)の製造
反応容器に、製造例9で得たプレポリマー溶液(U-1)(100部)とMEKケチミン化合物(2.1部)を投入混合し、そこにポリカルボン酸型アニオン界面活性剤(三洋化成工業(株)製サンスパールPS-8(30部))を溶解した水溶液300部を加え、ヤマト科学(株)製ウルトラディスパーサーを用いて6000rpmの回転数で1分間混合した。この混合物を温度計、撹拌機及び窒素吹込み管を備えた反応容器に移し、窒素置換した後、撹拌しながら50℃で10時間反応させた。反応終了後、濾別及び乾燥を行い、ウレタン樹脂粒子(K-1)を製造した。(K-1)のMnは1.8万、体積平均粒径は143μmであった。(K-1)の190℃の溶融粘度は510Pa・s、130℃の貯蔵弾性率は4.5×106dyn/cm2、180℃の貯蔵弾性率は3.0×104dyn/cm2であった。
実施例1でプレポリマー溶液(U-1)の代わりに、プレポリマー溶液(U-2)(100部)を用い、MEKケチミン化合物の量を3.2部に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様の操作を行い、ウレタン樹脂粒子(K-2)を製造した。(K-2)のMnは1.8万、体積平均粒径は152μmであった。(K-2)の190℃の溶融粘度は850Pa・s、130℃の貯蔵弾性率は1.0×107dyn/cm2、180℃の貯蔵弾性率は4.5×104dyn/cm2であった。
さらに実施例1において、ウレタン樹脂粒子(K-1)の代わりにウレタン樹脂粒子(K-2)を用いた他は同様の操作を行い、ウレタン樹脂粒子組成物(P-2)を得た。(P-2)の体積平均粒径は153μmであった。(P-2)の190℃の溶融粘度は140Pa・s、130℃の貯蔵弾性率は8.0×106dyn/cm2、180℃の貯蔵弾性率は1.5×104dyn/cm2であった。
実施例1でプレポリマー溶液(U-1)の代わりに、プレポリマー溶液(U-3)~(U-11)(100部)を用い、MEKケチミン化合物の量を下記に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様の操作を行い、ウレタン樹脂粒子(K-3)~(K-11)を製造した。
(K-3)~(K-11)のMn及び体積平均粒径は下記した。(K-3)~(K-11)の190℃の溶融粘度、130℃の貯蔵弾性率及び180℃の貯蔵弾性率は表1に記載した。

実施例2でMEKケチミン化合物の代わりに、1.4-ブタンジオール(1.3部)に変更した以外は、実施例2と同様の操作を行い、ウレタン樹脂粒子(K-13)を製造した。(K-10)のMnは1.8万、体積平均粒径は144μmであった。(K-13)の190℃の溶融粘度、130℃の貯蔵弾性率及び180℃の貯蔵弾性率は表2に記載した。

さらに実施例1と同様の操作を行い、ウレタン樹脂粒子組成物(P-1’)を得た。(P-1’)の体積平均粒径は142μmであった。(P-1’)の190℃の溶融粘度、130℃の貯蔵弾性率及び180℃の貯蔵弾性率は表2に記載した。
製造例12のプレポリマー溶液の合成で、Mnが1200のポリブチレンアジペート(A2-2)(304部)の代わりに、Mnが1000のポリヘキサメチレンアジペート[高分子ジオール(A2-5)](ガラス転移温度-65℃)(304部)を用いた以外は製造例12と同様にして、プレポリマー溶液(U-2’)を得た。プレポリマー溶液(U-2’)(100部)を用い、MEKケチミン化合物の量を7.7部に変更した以外は、実施例1と製造例12と同様の操作を行い、ウレタン樹脂粒子(K-2’)を製造した。(K-2’)のMnは1.8万、体積平均粒径は144μmであった。(K-2’)の190℃の溶融粘度、130℃の貯蔵弾性率及び180℃の貯蔵弾性率は表2に記載した。
さらに実施例1と同様の操作を行い、熱可塑性ウレタン樹脂粒子組成物(P-2’)を得た。(P-2’)の体積平均粒径は145μmであった。(P-2’)の190℃の溶融粘度、130℃の貯蔵弾性率及び180℃の貯蔵弾性率は表2に記載した。
製造例10において、ポリエステルジオール(A1-2)の代わりに、Mnが2500のポリヘキサメチレンイソフタレートジオール(A1-9)(ガラス転移温度-5℃)を使用する以外は製造例10と同様にしてプレポリマー溶液(U-3’)を得た。プレポリマー溶液(U-3’)(100部)を用い、MEKケチミン化合物の量を3.2部に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様の操作を行い、ウレタン樹脂粒子(K-3’)を製造した。(K-3’)のMnは2.0万、体積平均粒径は147μmであった。(K-3’)の190℃の溶融粘度、130℃の貯蔵弾性率及び180℃の貯蔵弾性率は表2に記載した。
さらに実施例1と同様の操作を行い、熱可塑性ウレタン樹脂粒子組成物(P-3’)を得た。(P-3’)の体積平均粒径は148μmであった。(P-3’)の190℃の溶融粘度、130℃の貯蔵弾性率及び180℃の貯蔵弾性率は表2に記載した。
製造例9において、Mnが1000のポリブチレンアジペート(A2-1)の代わりに、Mnが1000のポリヘキサメチレンイソフタレートジオール(A2-6)(ガラス転移温度-36℃)を使用する以外は製造例9と同様にしてプレポリマー溶液(U’-4)を得た。次に実施例1と同様にして熱可塑性ポリウレタン樹脂粒子(K-4’)を得た。(K-4’)のMwは14万、体積平均粒径は147μmであった。(K-4’)の190℃の溶融粘度、130℃の貯蔵弾性率及び180℃の貯蔵弾性率は表2に記載した。
さらに実施例1と同様の操作を行い、熱可塑性ウレタン樹脂粒子組成物(P-4’)を得た。(P-4’)の体積平均粒径は148μmであった。(P-4’)の190℃の溶融粘度、130℃の貯蔵弾性率及び180℃の貯蔵弾性率は表2に記載した。
実施例1~17のスラッシュ成形用の熱可塑性ウレタン樹脂粒子組成物(P-1)~(P-17)、及び比較例1~4のスラッシュ成形用樹脂粒子組成物(P-1’)~(P-4’)を使用して、下記に示す方法で210℃で板厚1,0mmと0.5mmの表皮を成形し、板厚1.0mmの表皮の裏面溶融性、25℃引張強度、25℃伸び、25℃の板厚0.5mmの表皮の破断応力、-35℃伸び、および下記に示す耐熱試験後の25℃引張強度と、伸びの測定を行った。
結果を表1及び表2に示した。
低温成形を目的に、予め210℃に加熱されたしぼ模様の入ったNi電鋳型にスラッシュ成形用の熱可塑性ウレタン樹脂粒子組成物(P-1)~(P-17)、(P-1’)~(P-4’)を充填し、10秒後余分な樹脂粒子組成物を排出した。60秒後水冷して表皮(厚さ1mm)を作成した。
また、充填後の時間を6秒にする以外は、上記と同様の方法で厚さ0.5mmの表皮をそれぞれ作成した。
島津(株)製フローテスターCFT-500を用いて、以下の条件で等速昇温し、190℃の溶融粘度を測定した。
荷重 : 5kg
ダイ : 穴径0.5mm、長さ1.0mm
昇温速度 : 5℃/min.
130℃、180℃の貯蔵弾性率G’は、動的粘弾性測定装置「RDS-2」(Rheometric Scientific社製)を用い周波数1Hz条件下で測定した。
測定試料を測定装置の冶具にセットした後、200℃まで昇温して、200℃で1分間冶具間で静置させることで溶融させた後、冷却し固化させることで冶具に密着させ、その後、測定を行った。測定温度範囲は50~200℃であり、この温度間の溶融粘弾性を測定することによって、温度-G’、温度-G”の曲線として得ることができる。
130℃、180℃の貯蔵弾性率G’は、温度-G’の曲線から読み取った。
冶具の直径:8mm
成形表皮裏面中央部を目視で観察し、以下の判定基準で溶融性を評価した。
5:均一で光沢がある。
4:一部未溶融のパウダーが有るが、光沢がある。
3:裏面全面に凹凸があり、光沢はない。表面に貫通するピンホールはない。
2:裏面全面にパウダーの形状の凹凸があり、かつ表面に貫通するピンホールがある。
1:パウダーが溶融せず、成形品にならない。
成形表皮からJIS K 6301の引張試験片ダンベル1号形を3枚打ち抜き、その中心に40mm間隔で標線をした。板厚は標線間5カ所の最小値を採用した。これを25℃雰囲気下にてオートグラフに取り付け、200mm/minの速さで引っ張り、試験片が破断にいたるまでの破断強度、最大伸びを算出した。また、-35℃雰囲気下にてオートグラフに取り付け、200mm/minの速さで引っ張り、試験片が破断にいたるまでの最大伸びを算出した。
成形表皮を、循風乾燥機中に、130℃、600時間処理した。続いて、処理後の表皮を25℃24時間静置した。続いて、これからJIS K 6301の引張試験片ダンベル1号形を3枚打ち抜き、その中心に40mm間隔で標線をした。板厚は標線間5カ所の最小値を採用した。これを25℃雰囲気下にてオートグラフに取り付け、200mm/minの速さで引っ張り、試験片が破断にいたるまでの破断強度、最大伸びを算出した。
Claims (14)
- 高分子ジオール(A)と、ジイソシアネート(B)とを反応させて得られる熱可塑性ウレタン樹脂であって、高分子ジオール(A)が、0~70℃のガラス転移温度を有するポリエステルジオール(A1)、および該(A1)の溶解度パラメーターよりも1.2~3.0低い溶解度パラメーターを有し、かつ-40~-75℃のガラス転移温度を有する高分子ジオール(A2)を含有する熱成形用熱可塑性ウレタン樹脂(D)。
- ポリエステルジオール(A1)がテレフタル酸、イソフタル酸、およびオルトフタル酸からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種のフタル酸(G)とエチレングリコールを必須成分とするポリエステルジオール(A11)である請求項1に記載のウレタン樹脂(D)。
- ポリエステルジオール(A1)を構成するフタル酸(G)が、テレフタル酸とイソフタル酸の混合物、またはテレフタル酸とオルトフタル酸の混合物である請求項1又は2に記載のウレタン樹脂(D)。
- 高分子ジオール(A2)がポリエステルジオールである請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載のウレタン樹脂(D)。
- 高分子ジオール(A2)が、エチレングリコールと炭素数6~15の脂肪族ジカルボン酸を必須成分とするポリエステルジオール、炭素数が4~10の脂肪族ジオールと炭素数4~15の脂肪族ジカルボン酸を必須成分とするポリエステルジオールからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種である請求項4に記載のウレタン樹脂(D)。
- 高分子ジオール(A)が、さらに下記ポリエステルジオール(A3)を含有し、かつ(A3)の含有量が(A1)の重量に対して5~100重量%である請求項4又は5に記載のウレタン樹脂(D)。
ポリエステルジオール(A3):エチレングリコールと炭素数4~10の脂肪族ジオールと、テレフタル酸、イソフタル酸、およびオルトフタル酸からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種のフタル酸(G)と炭素数4~15の脂肪族ジカルボン酸を必須成分とするポリエステルジオール - (A1)の数平均分子量が800~5000であり、かつ(A2)の数平均分子量が800~5000である請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載のウレタン樹脂(D)。
- (A1)と(A2)の重量比(A1/A2)が、5/95~80/20である請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載のウレタン樹脂(D)。
- さらに低分子ジアミンもしくは低分子ジオール(C)を反応させて得られる請求項1~8のいずれか1項に記載のウレタン樹脂(D)。
- 190℃の溶融粘度が500~2000Pa・sであり、かつ130℃の貯蔵弾性率G’が2.0×106~1.0×108dyn/cm2であり、かつ180℃の貯蔵弾性率G’が1.0×103~1.0×105dyn/cm2である請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載のウレタン樹脂(D)。
- 請求項1~10のいずれか1項に記載の熱成形用熱可塑性ウレタン樹脂(D)を含有する熱成形用熱可塑性ウレタン樹脂粒子(K)。
- 請求項11に記載の熱成形用熱可塑性ウレタン樹脂粒子(K)および添加剤(F)を含有するスラッシュ成形用ウレタン樹脂粒子組成物(P)。
- 190℃の溶融粘度が100~500Pa・sであり、かつ130℃の貯蔵弾性率G’が1.0×106~5.0×107dyn/cm2であり、かつ180℃の貯蔵弾性率G’が1.0×103~1.0×105dyn/cm2である請求項12に記載のスラッシュ成形用ウレタン樹脂粒子組成物(P)。
- 請求項11に記載の熱成形用熱可塑性ウレタン樹脂粒子(K)又は請求項12に記載のスラッシュ成形用ウレタン樹脂粒子組成物(P)を熱成形してなるウレタン樹脂成形物。
