Abstract
Description
本発明の他の目的は、前記の新規なオキセタン環含有(メタ)アクリル酸エステル化合物を容易且つ効率よく製造する方法を提供することにある。
で表されるオキセタン環含有(メタ)アクリル酸エステル化合物を提供する。
で表される化合物と、下記式(3)
を示す]
で表される化合物とを、塩基性物質存在下、液相一相系で反応させ、続いて(メタ)アクリル化することにより下記式(1)
で表されるオキセタン環含有(メタ)アクリル酸エステル化合物を合成することを特徴とするオキセタン環含有(メタ)アクリル酸エステル化合物の製造方法を提供する。
本発明のオキセタン環含有(メタ)アクリル酸エステル化合物は、上記式(1)で表される。式(1)中、R1は水素原子又はアルキル基を示し、R2は水素原子又はメチル基を示す。Aは上記式(a1)で表される直鎖状アルキレン基、又は上記式(a2)で表される分岐鎖状アルキレン基を示す。式(a1)中、n1は3以上の整数を示す。式(a2)中、R3、R4、R7、R8は同一又は異なって水素原子又はアルキル基を示し、R5、R6は同一又は異なってアルキル基を示す。n2は0以上の整数を示し、n2が2以上の整数の場合、2個以上のR7、R8はそれぞれ同一であってもよく、異なっていてもよい。式(a2)の右端はエステル結合を構成する酸素原子と結合する。
本発明の上記式(1)で表されるオキセタン環含有(メタ)アクリル酸エステル化合物は、上記式(2)で表される化合物と、上記式(3)で表される化合物とを、塩基性物質存在下、液相一相系で反応させ、続いて(メタ)アクリル化することにより合成することができる。
窒素雰囲気下、3-エチル-3-オキセタンメタノール(100g)、塩化メチレン(1000g)、トリエチルアミン(113g)を4つ口フラスコに入れ、室温(25℃)で撹拌した。ここに、メタンスルホニルクロライド(108g)を1時間かけて滴下した。滴下後、室温(25℃)にて1時間反応させた。この反応液にイオン交換水400gを添加して分液させ、塩化メチレン層を分取して濃縮し、3-エチルー3-メタンスルホニルオキシメチルオキセタン(170g、収率99%)を得た。
その後、反応液を冷却してからイオン交換水(150g)を加えて分液させて、THF層を分取した。このTHF層を濃縮し、濃縮液をシリカゲルカラムクロマトグラフィーで精製することで、3-エチル-3-(4-ヒドロキシブチルオキシメチル)オキセタン(32.1g、収率81%)を得た。
反応液にイオン交換水(300g)を加えて分液させて、塩化メチレン層を分取した。残った水層をさらに塩化メチレン(150g)で再抽出し、塩化メチレン層を集めて濃縮し、濃縮液をシリカゲルカラムクロマトグラフィーで精製することで、下記式で表される3-エチル-3-(4-アクリロイルオキシブチルオキシメチル)オキセタン(28.7g、収率74%)を得た。
1H-NMR(500MHz、CDCl3) δ 6.40(1H,dd), 6.12(1H,q), 5.82(1H,dd), 4.45(2H,d), 4.38(2H,d), 4.18(2H,t), 3.53(2H,s), 3.49(2H,t), 1.76(4H,m), 1.67(2H,m), 0.88(3H,t)
シュレンク管に2-(1-メトキシ)プロピルアセテート(PGMEA)(11.63g)、実施例1で得られた3-エチル-3-(4-アクリロイルオキシブチルオキシメチル)オキセタン(2.26g:8.25mmol)、AIBN(0.14g)の混合液を仕込み、撹拌して均一化した後、75±1℃で5時間加熱撹拌した。これを冷却した後、5倍量のヘプタンで再沈精製を行い、真空乾燥機中(40℃、フルバキューム)で15時間保持することで、室温(25℃)で無色透明の液状樹脂(1)を得た。該液状樹脂(1)のGPC法によるポリスチレン換算重量平均分子量は21500、数平均分子量は8300であった。
窒素雰囲気下、3-エチル-3-オキセタンメタノール(100g)および塩化メチレン(1000g)、トリエチルアミン(113g)を4つ口フラスコに入れ、室温(25℃)で撹拌した。続いて、メタンスルホニルクロライド(108g)を1時間かけて滴下した。滴下後、室温(25℃)にて1時間反応させた。反応後、イオン交換水(400g)を添加して分液させ、塩化メチレン層を分取し、濃縮して、3-エチルー3-メタンスルホニルオキシメチルオキセタン(170g)を得た。
その後、反応液を冷却してからイオン交換水(200g)およびIPE(200g)を加え、IPE層を分取した。IPEによる抽出を4回行い、このIPE層をまとめて濃縮した。濃縮液をシリカゲルカラムクロマトグラフィーで精製することで、3-エチル-3-(3-ヒドロキシ-2,2-ジメチルプロピルオキシメチル)オキセタン(42.7g、収率81%)を得た。
反応液にイオン交換水(400g)を添加して分液させ、塩化メチレン層を分取した。残った水層をさらに塩化メチレン(200g)で再抽出し、塩化メチレン層を集めて濃縮し、濃縮液をシリカゲルカラムクロマトグラフィーで精製することで、下記式で表される3-エチル-3-(3-アクリロイルオキシ-2,2-ジメチルプロピルオキシメチル)オキセタン(42.6g、収率88%)を得た。
1H-NMR(500MHz、CDCl3) δ 6.39(1H,d), 6.13(1H,q), 5.83(1H,dd), 4.44(2H,d), 4.36(2H,d), 3.98(2H,s), 3.52(2H,s), 3.23(2H,s), 1.73(2H,q), 0.96(6H,t), 0.86(3H,t)
シュレンク管に2-(1-メトキシ)プロピルアセテート(PGMEA)(4.80g)、実施例3で得られた3-エチル-3-(3-アクリロイルオキシ-2,2-ジメチルプロピルオキシメチル)オキセタン(2.07g:7.80mmol)、AIBN(0.0605g)の混合液を仕込み、撹拌して均一化した後、75±1℃で5時間加熱撹拌した。これを冷却した後、5倍量のヘプタンで再沈精製を行い、真空乾燥機中(40℃、フルバキューム)で15時間保持することで、室温(25℃)で無色透明の液状樹脂(2)を得た。該液状樹脂(2)のGPC法によるポリスチレン換算重量平均分子量は37600、数平均分子量は14200であった。
シュレンク管に2-(1-メトキシ)プロピルアセテート(PGMEA)(12.05g)、3-エチル-3-(2-アクリロイルオキシエチルオキシメチル)オキセタン(2.24g:9.25mmol)、AIBN(0.14g)の混合液を仕込み、撹拌して均一化した後、75±1℃で5時間加熱撹拌した。これを冷却した後、5倍量のヘプタンで再沈精製を行い、真空乾燥機中(40℃、フルバキューム)で15時間保持することで、室温(25℃)で無色透明の液状樹脂(3)を得た。該液状樹脂(3)のGPC法によるポリスチレン換算重量平均分子量は18000、数平均分子量は6000であった。
実施例2、4及び比較例1で得られた混合溶液(1)~(3)について、下記方法により重合し、得られた硬化物の柔軟性、耐熱性について下記方法により評価した。
実施例2、4及び比較例1で得られた混合溶液(1)~(3)を、フッ素コートPET(ポリエチレンテレフタレート)フィルム基材上にアプリケーターにより約100μmの厚みになるよう塗布し、ベルトコンベアー式紫外線照射装置(商品名「UVC-02516S1AA02」、ウシオ電機(株)製)を用いて紫外線を照射し[照射エネルギー:約2J(波長:320-390nm)]、その後、大気中100℃で1時間加熱処理して、硬化物(1)~(3)を得た。
上記の方法により得られた硬化物(1)、(3)を、20℃、50%RHの条件下で半径1mmの棒に巻きつけて、クラック(ひび割れ)発生の有無を目視で観察し、下記基準で評価した。
評価基準

クラック(ひび割れ)が見られた:×
上記の方法により得られた硬化物(1)、(3)を、粘弾性測定装置(商品名「RSAIII」、レオメトリック・サイエンティフィック・エフ・イー(株)製)を用いて20℃における動的粘弾性を測定し、下記基準で評価した。
評価基準
弾性率(GPa)が1.0以下:○
弾性率(GPa)が1.0を超える:×
上記の方法により得られた硬化物(2)、(3)を熱分析装置(商品名「TG-DTA6300」、セイコー電子工業(株)製)を用いて熱重量分析した。図1に示すように、初期の重量減少のない、或いは漸減しているところの接線と、急激に重量減少が起こっているところの変曲点の接線が交叉するところの温度を熱分解温度T(℃)とし、下記基準に従って評価した。

で表されるオキセタン環含有(メタ)アクリル酸エステル化合物を合成することを特徴とするオキセタン環含有(メタ)アクリル酸エステル化合物の製造方法。
