この種のワンモーショングロメットとして、特開2002-171644号公報では、図7に示すように、車体パネルPの貫通孔Hへのグロメット100の挿入力の軽減を図るため、グロメット100の拡径筒部101の外周面に突条部102を設け、貫通孔Hの内周面との接触面積を減少している。
さらに、前記突条部102は、貫通孔Hの内面と接触する位置P1で傾斜角度を変えて、突条部102の突出量を漸次減少し、さらに、車体係止凹部103の側壁103aと同一高さとなる位置P2で傾斜角度をかえて拡径筒部101の軸線方向と平行とし、図中、水平としている。
このように、突条部102の突出量を車体係止凹部103側に向けて漸次減少していくことにより、挿入力の低減を図っている。

さらに、傾斜壁の突出端の近傍では、突条部20の縮径方向突条部20Bがグロメット10の軸線方向と平行な真っすぐな方向となるため、傾斜壁14cが貫通穴30を通るようにガイドする機能を果たす。よって、傾斜壁突出端近傍で拡径筒部13および突条部20に変形を発生させることなく、スムーズに貫通穴30を通過させることができる。
Claims (5)
- 小径筒部と、該小径筒部に連続する拡径筒部を備え、これら小径筒部と拡径筒部に自動車用ワイヤハーネスを貫通させて取り付けた状態で、前記小径筒部側から車体の貫通穴に挿入し、前記拡径筒部の外周面に設けた車体係止凹部を車体パネルに係止するグロメットであって、
前記拡径筒部の外周面に沿って、前記小径筒部との連続端側から車体係止凹部の側壁までの軸線方向に延在する複数の突条部を周方向に間隔をあけて突設し、
前記突条部は、前記小径筒部側から前記貫通穴への挿通時に該貫通穴の内面との接触点P1を越えた折れポイントP2までは前記拡径筒部の外周面の傾斜と平行に傾斜させた拡径方向傾斜部とし、該折れポイントP2から前記車体係止凹部の側の先端までは傾斜方向を逆向きとした縮径方向傾斜部としていることを特徴とするグロメット。 - 前記折れポイントP2の位置は、前記接触点P1から折れポイントP2までの寸法L1と、該折れポイントP2から傾斜壁先端P3までの寸法L2とが略同一寸法となる位置としている請求項1に記載のグロメット。
- 前記折れポイントP2を支点して両側の拡径方向傾斜部と縮径方向傾斜部とが成す角度は100度以上120度以下である請求項1または請求項2に記載のグロメット。
- ゴムまたはエラストマーから成形され、前記折れポイントP2の頂角は成形可能な範囲で最小アールとしている請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のグロメット。
- 前記折れポイントP2に接する前記拡径方向傾斜部が前記貫通孔の内面で押圧されると、前記縮径方向傾斜部が外向きに反り上がり、前記折れポイントP2が前記貫通孔の内面に押圧されると、該折れポイントP2から前記先端のP3点までは拡径筒部の中心軸線と略平行となる設定としている請求項2乃至請求項4のいずれか1項に記載のグロメット。
