Abstract

種々の移動体へ急速充電用の電力供給ができ、しかも高品質の電力を供給する急速充電用電力供給装置および急速充電用電力供給方法を提供することを目的とする。整流器(11)からの直流電力を貯蔵し、純粋直流電力を出力する第一の蓄電手段(15)と、第一の蓄電手段(15)からの直流電力が貯蔵可能な第二の蓄電手段(85)が搭載される車両(50)に、第一の蓄電手段(15)からの純粋直流電力を直送する充電回路(20)と、第二の蓄電手段(85)の充電時には整流器(11)から第一の蓄電手段(15)への給電を中止する給電制御手段(12)とを備える。第一の蓄電手段から供給される純粋直流電力は、車両側で第二の蓄電手段の充電条件に適合した電力に制御されるので、種々の移動体への電力供給ができる。また、純粋直流電力という高品質な電力を供給できるので、電気回路の設計において供給電力のノイズやサージ等をほとんど考慮する必要がない。
