Abstract

 シクロドデカノンおよびヒドロキシルアミンから、簡単な工程により効率よくラウロラクタムを製造する方法を提供する。この製造方法は、(a)シクロドデカノンと水溶液中のヒドロキシルアミンとを、過剰のシクロドデカノンの存在下または溶媒の存在下で反応させ、シクロドデカノンオキシムを生成する工程、(b)前記オキシム化工程後の反応液を油相と水相に分離し、シクロドデカノンオキシムの溶液を油相として取得する工程、(c)前記油/水分離工程により油相として取得した前記シクロドデカノンオキシムの溶液から溶解水分を除去する工程、(d)芳香環含有化合物を転位触媒として用いて、転位反応により、シクロドデカノンオキシムからラウロラクタムを生成する工程、および(e)前記転位工程後、生成したラウロラクタムを分離し、精製する工程を有する。
