Definitions
- the present invention relates to a laser output correction method for a CNC laser beam machine, and more particularly to a laser output correction method configured to automatically correct aging, temporal changes, and the like of laser output. Background technology
- Laser processing machines are capable of processing complex shapes at high speeds by being combined with numerical control devices.Laser machines, which have come into widespread use, require precise output power to increase processing accuracy. You need to control. In practice, the output power varies over time due to factors such as variations in mirror spacing, variations in mirror angles, loss of high frequency power, and contamination of optical components such as mirrors. The output power also changes depending on seasonal factors, such as the outside air temperature. In addition, the output power changes with time and the temperature of the outside air and the temperature of the laser gas. Therefore, the laser output will not be accurate for certain command values.
- Japanese Patent Application No. 62-107828 filed by the present applicant, is provided for correcting such aging.
- a command value and an actual output value are obtained, a table of the command value and a laser output value is created, and a command value for obtaining a required laser output is obtained from the table, and a command is issued.
- An object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems and to provide a laser output correction system configured to automatically correct a secular change and a temporal change of a laser output power.
- the laser output correction method of the CNC laser processing machine is characterized in that control is performed such that an output equal to the command value is obtained by referring to the correction coefficient during processing.
- a laser correction system of a CNC laser processing machine in which a numerical control device (CNC) and a laser processing machine are combined.
- the laser output command value is measured at regular intervals by an output measuring device with respect to the laser output command value, and control is performed so that the difference between the command value and the laser output becomes zero.
- the actual laser output is measured with the output measuring device for the laser output command value
- the command value of the laser output is corrected so as to obtain a laser output equal to the command value by referring to the correction coefficient
- the CNC is characterized in that the actual output is measured by an output measuring device at regular intervals, and the difference between the corrected command value and the actual laser output is controlled to be zero.
- the laser output correction method of the laser processing machine is characterized in that the actual output is measured by an output measuring device at regular intervals, and the difference between the corrected command value and the actual laser output is controlled to be zero.
- the output is controlled so that this difference becomes zero.
- a command value is output, the output is measured, and the correction coefficient is calculated from the command value and the output. The next time machining is performed, the command value is corrected using this correction coefficient.
- FIG. 1 is a block diagram of an embodiment of the present invention
- Fig. 2 is a flowchart for obtaining the correction coefficient.--The best mode for carrying out the invention
- FIG. 1 shows a ⁇ -tag diagram of one embodiment of the present invention.
- 1 is a numerical controller (CNC) for controlling the laser beam machine.
- Reference numeral 1 1 denotes a capturing means for calculating a capturing coefficient from the command value and the actual output power.
- the correction means 11 has a memory therein and stores the correction coefficient. The details of how to determine the correction coefficient will be described later.
- 1 1a is a timer and necessary Inform the capture means 1 1 of the time.
- Reference numeral 1 2 denotes a memory in which command values such as a moving distance, an arresting degree, a Hi power, a duty, etc. for the laser beam: 31 are stored.
- Reference numeral 13 denotes command control means for outputting a corresponding command value by referring to the correction coefficient of the correction means 11 with respect to the command value of the output power.
- Reference numeral 14 denotes an AD converter, which converts the measured value of the laser output power into a digital value and sends it to the command control means. 14a is an amplifier that amplifies the measured value of the laser output.
- Reference numeral 15 denotes a DA converter, which converts a digital command value from the command control means into an analog value and outputs it.
- Reference numeral 21 denotes a display device, which uses a display such as a CRT or a liquid crystal, and displays a machine position, a speed, a processing condition, and the like.
- 2 2 is a keyboard used for inputting command values, various data, parameters and the like of the laser beam machine.
- Reference numeral 31 denotes a high-frequency power supply that rectifies three-phase alternating current, changes the DC output into a high-frequency voltage by an inverter, and supplies high-frequency power to the laser tube.
- Reference numeral 32 denotes a laser tube, which performs high-frequency discharge by high-frequency power from a high-frequency power supply 31 and oscillates and amplifies laser light.
- 3 3 It is an output measuring device that measures the output of laser light. Specifically, a part of the rear mirror is transmitted to irradiate the thermo disk, and the temperature rise of the thermo disk is converted to voltage and measured. Further, a voltage output can also be obtained by directly photoelectrically converting the transmitted laser light.
- Figure 2 shows a flowchart for obtaining the correction coefficient.
- the number following S indicates the number of steps.
- This correction coefficient is stored in a memory in the correction means 11.
- the correction coefficient is sequentially determined according to the number of discharge tube segments used. Further, since this correction coefficient varies depending on the value of the laser power, the correction coefficient is obtained for the value of the laser output. For example, the command value can be obtained for each width of 0 to 250 W, 25 1 W to 5 0 W, 500 W to 5 Q W ---.
- the correction coefficient is automatically set when the laser oscillator is started, for example, when HV 0 N (high voltage) on the operation panel is pressed. As a result, the operator , Without being aware of the work for obtaining this correction coefficient, the correction for aging is automatically performed.
- this correction coefficient becomes extremely large, it is considered that the laser oscillation device is not abnormal because of aging, so a certain limit value is set, and the correction coefficient is, for example, 1.
- the limit value should be selected appropriately from the viewpoint of the size and safety of the laser device.
- the output is measured by the output measuring device 33 at regular intervals, and controlled by the capturing means 11 so that the difference between the measured value and the command value becomes zero.
- the time is determined by timer .11a. This time is determined by the response time of the control system of the laser output, and largely depends on the measuring element used in the output measuring device 33 in particular.
- the actual output power is measured at the time of starting the laser device, the correction coefficient is obtained, and the command value is corrected by this coefficient at the time of the actual application.
- accurate output can be obtained even if the laser output changes over time.
- command value and the measured output value are compared at regular intervals during machining, and the difference is set to zero, so that accurate output is always obtained.
