Abstract

En la presente se describe un proceso mejorado para la fabricación de sal de calcio de ácido (E)-7-(4-(4-fluorofenil)-6--isopropil-2-(metil(metilsulfonil)amino)pirimidin-5-il) (3R,5S) -3,5- dihidroxihept-6-enoico (1), que es útil para la producción de un producto farmacéutico útil en el tratamiento de, entre otros, hipercolesterolemia, hiperlipoproteinemia y aterosclerosis.
