Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a curved surface-shaped ceiling structure and, more particularly, to a curved surface-shaped ceiling structure provided in a theater, wherein the ceiling structure is formed in a curved surface type shell shape covering the seats of a theater to expose a screen so that the ceiling structure can secure structural continuity with the screen having curvature in a horizontal axis and vertical axis.
  • a movie theater has a structure equipped with a rectangle screen within a building of a rectangular parallelepiped having the surface of a vertical wall, and is fabricated to have a structure that allows audiences to watch visual media within a specific space.
  • the rectangle screen has structural problems in that it prevents audiences from securing a sufficient angle of view in watching visual media and a sounding effect which may be felt by the body is greatly different depending on a seat due to the building of a rectangular parallelepiped. Accordingly, various methods are recently proposed in order to solve such problems.
  • a method for implementing the shape of a screen in a curved surface form is emerging as one of methods for solving the problems. More specifically, in the case of a current IMAX theater, a movie is screen using a curved screen having specific curvature in a horizontal axis.
  • a theater building itself or a structure itself has to be designed so that the curved screen can be installed on the building or structure by taking into consideration the curved surface of a curved screen from the time when a theater is designed. Accordingly, there is a problem in that the curved screen must be newly installed on the existing buildings of a rectangular parallelepiped form or the existing structures for viewing, which have been designed to be suitable for rectangle screens. Furthermore, there are problems in that luminosity of an image is reduced because it is difficult to project an image of constant luminosity on the surface of the curved screen and image content suitable for the curved screen must be separately produced.
  • the present invention has been invented based on such a technological background and also has been invented to satisfy the aforementioned technological needs and to provide additional technological elements that may not be easily invented by those skilled in the art to which the present invention pertains.
  • an object of the present invention is to provide a curved surface-shaped ceiling structure, which is capable of securing structural continuity with a screen having curvature in a horizontal axis and a vertical axis, enhancing a sense of immersion through a design unity and the homogeneity of a sound quality effect, and effectively controlling a howling phenomenon.
  • the ceiling structure in a ceiling structure provided in a theater, is formed in a curved surface type shell shape covering the seats of a theater so that a screen is exposed.
  • the ceiling structure may include a plurality of curved line members formed in a curved line form in a first direction and disposed in parallel in such a way as to be spaced apart from each other at a specific interval and a plurality of binding members spaced apart from each other at a specific interval and disposed in a second direction so that the plurality of curved line members is bound together.
  • the ceiling structure may further include a plurality of assistant members spaced apart from each other at a specific interval and disposed in a third direction so that the plurality of binding members is bound together.
  • finishing member may be combined with the binding members and/or the assistant members.
  • a plurality of perforations may be formed in the finishing member.
  • the plurality of curved line members may have the same shape.
  • an end on one side of the curved line member may be disposed to come into contact with a bottom.
  • the plurality of curved line members may be disposed to have height gradually lowered toward one side or both sides based on one curved line member.
  • both ends of the curved line member may be disposed to come into contact with the bottom.
  • the ceiling structure in a theater including a ceiling structure, may be formed in a curved surface type shell shape covering the seats of the theater so that a screen is exposed.
  • the ceiling structure may be fixed by hanger members provided in the upper structure of the theater.
  • the curved line members may be fixed by hanger members.
  • the ceiling structure may further include a plurality of assistant members spaced apart from each other at a specific interval and disposed in a third direction so that the plurality of binding members is bound together.
  • a finishing member may be combined with the binding members and/or the assistant members.
  • a plurality of perforations may be formed in the finishing member.
  • the plurality of curved line members may have the same shape.
  • the plurality of curved line members may be disposed to have height gradually lowered toward one side or both sides based on one curved line member.
  • a ceiling structure construction method for constructing a ceiling structure in a theater may include the steps of (a) disposing a plurality of curved line members formed in a curved line form in a first direction in such a way as to be spaced apart from each other at a specific interval, (b) separating and disposing a plurality of binding members in a second direction at a specific interval so that the plurality of curved line members is bound together, and (c) combining a finishing member with binding members.
  • step (a) may include providing hanger members in the upper structure of the theater and fixing the curved line members to the hanger members.
  • the plurality of curved line members may have the same shape, and an end on one side of the curved line member may be disposed to come into contact with the bottom.
  • the plurality of curved line members may be disposed to have height gradually lowered toward one side or both sides based on one curved line member.
  • both ends of the curved line member may be disposed to come into contact with the bottom.
  • the step (b) may include separating and disposing a plurality of assistant members at a specific interval in a third direction so that the plurality of binding members is bound together.
  • the step (c) may include combining a finishing member with the binding members and/or the assistant members.
  • a plurality of perforations may be formed in the finishing member.
  • the curved surface-shaped ceiling structure can secure structural continuity with a screen having curvature in horizontal axis and the vertical axis because the ceiling structure is formed in a curved surface type shell shape covering the seats of a theater so that the screen is exposed.
  • the curved surface-shaped ceiling structure can be easily installed stably even without a separate change in the design of an existing building of a rectangular parallelepiped or structure for viewing.
  • an audience can have a sense of immersion and a high feeling of movement can be delivered to an audience because a design unity with a screen having curvature in the horizontal axis and the vertical axis is secured.
  • an auditory sense of immersion can be enhanced because the homogeneity of a sound quality effect can be sought through the curved surface-shaped ceiling structure.
  • a howling phenomenon can be effectively controlled because the finishing member is coupled and the plurality of perforations is formed in the finishing member.

  • FIGS. 1 to 6 are diagrams showing a curved surface-shaped ceiling structure according to various embodiments of the present invention.
  • the ceiling structure CS is formed in a curved surface type shell shape covering the seats ST of a theater T so that a screen S is exposed.
  • the screen S is a curved screen and may include a plurality of long-axis members and a plurality of short-axis members. More specifically, the screen S includes the pair of long-axis members formed in a specific direction and spaced apart from each other at a specific interval and the pair of short-axis members formed in another specific direction and spaced apart from each other at a specific interval.
  • the long-axis members and the short-axis members have curvature of a specific size, and the pair of long-axis members and the pair of short-axis members are joined together to have four corners.
  • the ceiling structure CS is formed in a curved surface type shell shape and can secure structural continuity with the screen including the long-axis members and short-axis members having curvature of a specific size.
  • the curved screen S is to be installed on an existing building of a rectangular parallelepiped or an existing structure for viewing, a sense of immersion is visually reduced and there is a limit to the transfer of the feeling of movement because the building or structure for viewing and the curved screen S are separated in structure.
  • the ceiling structure CS has a curved surface type shell shape and thus can secure the structural continuity of a curved line with the curved screen S. Furthermore, the curved screen S and the curved surface-shaped ceiling structure CS can be stably installed easily even without a separate change in the design.
  • the curved surface-shaped ceiling structure CS of the present invention enables an audience to have a sense of immersion and can transfer a high feeling of movement to an audience because it secures a design unity with the curved screen.
  • an auditory sense of immersion can be enhanced because the homogeneity of a sound quality effect can be sought through the curved surface-shaped ceiling structure.
  • the ceiling structure CS may include a plurality of curved line members 100 formed in a curved line form in a first direction, spaced apart from each other at a specific interval and disposed in parallel and a plurality of binding members 200 spaced apart from each other at a specific interval in a second direction so that the plurality of curved line members is bound together.
  • the curved line members 100 of the ceiling structure CS may be continuously disposed to be vertical to a normal direction to the center of the screen and may be continuously disposed in parallel in the normal direction.
  • the curved line members 100 are disposed continuously in parallel in a direction vertical to a normal direction to the center of the screen S, the screen S needs to be exposed. Accordingly, it is preferred that the curved line member 100 is fabricated to have continuous curvature so that a sense of alienation is not generated between an end on the screen side of the curved line member 100 and curvature of the screen S.
  • the curved line members 100 are disposed continuously in parallel in a normal direction to the center of the screen, it is preferred that the curved line members 100 provided on the screen side and the screen S can secure structural continuity by controlling the angle of the curved line members 100 or providing an additional finishing material.
  • the ceiling structure CS may include an end member 500 having a shape corresponding top curvature of the screen S, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 .
  • One binding member 200 may be continuously bound to three or more curved line members 100 .
  • the binding member 200 may be formed of a curved line-shaped member.
  • both ends of one binding member 200 may be bound to a pair of the curved line members 100 .
  • the binding member 200 may be formed of a straight line-shaped member having a relatively short length.
  • first and the second directions are not limited to the normal direction to the center of the screen and the vertical direction thereto, and the first and the second directions do not need to be vertically bound together.
  • binding means that independent members remain in contact with each other, and covers meanings, such as attachment, adhesion, coupling, welding, and holding.
  • the ceiling structure CS may include a plurality of assistant members 300 spaced apart from each other at a specific interval in a third direction so that the plurality of binding members 200 is bound together.
  • both ends of one assistant member 300 are bound between a pair of the binding members 200 .
  • the assistant member 300 may be formed of a straight line-shaped member having a relatively short length.
  • One assistant member 300 may be continuously bound to three or more binding members 200 .
  • the assistant member 300 may be formed of a curved line-shaped member.
  • the third direction may be a direction parallel to the first direction, that is, the direction in which the curved line members 100 are disposed.
  • a finishing member 400 may be coupled to the binding members 200 and/or the assistant members 300 .
  • the finishing member 400 means a panel covering the ceiling structure, and may be divided into a primary curved surface finishing member having curvature with respect to only a one-direction cross section and a secondary curved surface finishing member having curvature with respect to only a bi-directional cross section.
  • the ceiling structure may have different curvature depending on its position.
  • the size of the finishing member may be different.
  • the ceiling structure may be completed using a simple plane type member not having curvature by disposing the binding members 200 or the assistant members 300 at points having small curvature at a wide interval and disposing the binding members 200 or the assistant members 300 at points having great curvature at a narrow interval.
  • finishing member 400 is fabricated to have the secondary curved surface, a manufacturing cost is increased, and there is a difficulty in construction because only a specific finishing member designed suitably for a specific location has to be selectively coupled.
  • the curved surface-shaped ceiling structure CS of the present invention can form a net type frame structure by binding the curved line members 100 and the binding members 200 and additionally binding the assistant members 300 at the same time. Furthermore, the finishing member 400 can be combined with the curved surface-shaped ceiling structure CS so that it comes into contact with the binding members 200 and/or the assistant members 300 .
  • finishing member 400 can be directly combined with the binding members 200 without using a separate assistant member 300 because the distance between the binding members 200 forming the ceiling structure CS can be short depending on the size of a theater.
  • the curved surface-shaped ceiling structure CS of the present invention may be provided in the theater of a building of a rectangular parallelepiped having the surface of a vertical wall.
  • the finishing member 400 may include a plurality of perforations 401 .
  • the perforations 401 functions to offset a sound refracted and reflected by the isolated space between the ceiling structure CS and the theater T.
  • the finishing member 400 secures fireproof performance within a theater by attaching fireproof sheet paper to the finishing member 400 .
  • various aesthetic factors such as a wood pattern, may be added to the fireproof sheet paper in order to secure a sense of aesthetic appreciation.
  • the plurality of curved line members 100 may have the same shape. If the curved line members 100 having the same shape are disposed in parallel, a shell structure of a tunnel shape having a curved line with respect to only a one-direction cross section is formed.
  • an opening portion 600 is formed by removing portions of the binding members 200 coming into contact with the bottom, and a projector or an entrance and exit may be formed in the opening portion 600 in order to secure functionality.
  • a metal reinforcement structure frame is additionally installed to dispose the projector in the opening portion 600 .
  • the plurality of curved line members 100 may be disposed to have height gradually lowered toward one side or both sides based on one curved line member.
  • a dome-shaped shell structure having a curved line with respect to the bi-directional cross section is formed.
  • the screen S of the theater T is exposed, but the surface of a vertical wall is not exposed, and thus an opening portion, such as a separate entrance and exit, has to be formed.
  • a construction cost is slightly increased, but independency from the theater can be maintained. Accordingly, there are advantages in that structural continuity with the screen can be secured and a sense of immersion can be enhanced visually and aurally.
  • an existing theater has been constructed in form in which a screen is mounted on a building of a rectangular parallelepiped or a structure for viewing.
