Abstract

Izum razkriva elastomerno spojine, ki vkljucujejotudi elastomerne in slilicijem obdelane ogljikovesaje, neobvezno pa vkljucujejo tudi sredstvo za spajanje. Elastomerna spojina ima manjso abrazijskoodpornost, ce ni prisotno sredstvo za spajanje, nizjo histerezo pri visji temperaturi, in primerljivo ali povecano histerezo pri nizji temperaturi, vprimerjavi z elastomerom, ko vsebuje neobdelane ogljikove saje. Predvideni in razkriti so tudi razlicni elastomeri in formulacije, kjer so taki elastomeri in formulacije uporabni. Odkrite so tudi elastomerne spojine, ki vkljucujejo elastomer in oksidirane, s silicijem obdelane ogljikove saje. Polegtega pa so odkrite tudi metode za pripravo elastomernih spojin z obdelanimi ogljikovimi sajami.

Claims (29)

1 1 US-1/1232 MIP-2530-SI EP 828 789 BI CABOT CORPORATION 75 State Street, Boston MA 02109-1806, USA PATENTNI ZAHTEVKI 1. Postopek proizvodnje agregatov ogljikovih saj po kateremkoli od zahtevkov od 1 do 5, značilen po tem, da sestoji iz: • mešanja ogljikovih saj v obliki surove snovi z lahko hlapnim silicijem, ki vsebuje spojine, kot so silikati, silani in hlapni silicijevi polimeri v reakcijskem področju reaktorja; • izhlapevanja komponent; • izpostavljanja komponent visokim temperaturam v reaktorju, da bi jih razgradili in jih zreagirali v reakcijskem področju, tako da postane silicij ali silicij vsebujoč delec bistven del ogljikovih saj, in • zaustavljanja toka reakcije.

15. Elastomerna spojina po zahtevku 14, značilna po tem, da je omenjena organska skupina aromatski sulfid s formulama Ar-Sn-Ar' ali Ar-Sn-Ar", pri čemer sta Ar in Ar' neodvisni arilenski skupini, Ar" je arilna skupina, n pa je med 1 in 8 .

Elastomerna spojina po kateremkoli od zahtevkov od 11 do 15, značilna po tem, da omenjena snov za spajanje izbrana iz skupine v kateri so silanova snov za spajanje, cirkonatna snov za spajanje, titanova snov za spajanje, 4 dušikova snov za spajanje in mešanice zgoraj naštetih ali pa je omenjena snov za spajanje APDS.
