Abstract

Pneumatique radial (1) pour véhicule automobile, comportant : o un sommet (2) comportant au moins une bande de roulement (3) et une armature de sommet ou ceinture (7) ; o deux bourrelets inextensibles (4), deux flancs (5) reliant les bourrelets (4) à la bande de roulement (3), une armature de carcasse (6) passant dans les deux flancs (5) et ancrée dans les bourrelets (4) ; o la ceinture (7), disposée circonférentiellement entre la bande de roulement (3) et l'armature de carcasse (6), comportant des renforts textiles ou métalliques enrobés dans une composition de caoutchouc (8) dite « gomme d'enrobage de ceinture », caractérisé en ce que cette gomme d'enrobage de ceinture, apte à réduire les bruits de roulage du pneumatique, comporte 50 à 100 pce d'un copolymère à base de styrène et de butadiène ayant une température de transition vitreuse supérieure à -40°C, une charge renforçante et un système de réticulation.
