La presente invencion esta referida a compuestos de Formula I, en donde R1 es alquilo hidroxilo C1-C3, entre otras opciones; A y B son O o S; Ar1 es un arilo, heteroarilo o heterocicloalquilo; R2 es H, arilo, heteroarilo, cicloalquilo o heterocicloalquilo, etc., y L es un anillo monociclo de 5 a 10, etc. Estos compuestos inhiben selectivamente las actividades de FASN y modulan el crecimiento y la proliferacion de lineas celulares de cancer
