Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método para producir oligosacáridos fucosilados usando una célula hospedera procariota recombinante que se cultiva sobre un sustrato gluconeogénico, y también la célula hospedera y su uso. La célula hospedera es modificada genéticamente para que la actividad de una enzima convertidora de fructosa-6-fosfato sea anulada o reducida, y el transporte del oligosacárido fucosilado producido a través de la membrana celular es facilitado por una proteína de transporte exógena.
