Abstract
Un proceso de depuración del CO2 de la amina utiliza una combinación de mezcla absorbente de un sorbente de CO2 en una combinación con una base nitrogenada típica y relativamente fuerte, no nucleofílica. La o las bases más débiles son nucleofílicas y tienen la capacidad para reaccionar directamente con el CO2 en la corriente de gas mientras que las bases relativamente fuertes actúan como promotores no nucleofílicos para la reacción entre el CO2 y la base más débil. Las temperaturas de sorción y desorción varían por la selección de la combinación amina/base, al permitir temperaturas de sorción efectivas de 70 a 90°C vorables para la depuración del gas de combustión.
