Abstract

En un proceso para la epoxidación de una olefina mediante reaccionar continua de la olefina con peróxido de hidrógeno en un solvente de metanol en un catalizador de epoxidación de lecho fijo que comprende una zeolita de titanio, el peróxido de hidrógeno se utiliza como una solución acuosa de peróxido de hidrógeno producida mediante un proceso de antraquinona, la solución acuosa de peróxido de hidrógeno se mezcla con metanol para dar una mezcla de alimentación y esta mezcla de alimentación se filtra antes de ponerse en contacto con el catalizador de epoxidación de lecho fijo.
