Abstract
Un proceso continuo para la preparación de óxido de propileno, que comprende proporcionar un flujo de alimentación líquido que comprende propeno, peróxido de hidrógeno, metanol, agua, al menos una sal potásica disuelta del ácido hidroxietilidendifosfónico y opcionalmente propano; pasar el flujo de alimentación líquido proporcionado en (i) a un reactor de epoxidación que comprende un catalizador que comprende una zeolita de titanio del tipo de estructura MFI y someter el flujo de alimentación líquido a condiciones de reacción de epoxidación en el reactor de epoxidación, obteniendo una mezcla de reacción que comprende óxido de propileno, metanol, agua, y al menos una sal potásica disuelta del ácido hidroxietilidendifosfónico y opcionalmente propano; eliminar un flujo de efluente del reactor de epoxidación; el flujo de efluente comprende óxido de propileno, metanol, agua, al menos una porción de al menos una sal potásica del ácido hidroxietilidendifosfónico y opcionalmente propano.
