Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a composiciones que comprenden combinaciones de polímeros aromáticos de alquenilo tales como .polímeros estirénicos (es decir PS y HIPS) y polímeros de base biológica o biodegradables (es decir, PLA, PGA, PHA, PBS, PCL) compatibilizados con copolímeros a base de estireno (es decir copolímeros de bloque de estireno-etileno-butileno-estireno (SEBS), maleato de SEBS, copolímero de estireno-anhídrido maleico (SMA), copolímero de estireno-metacrilato de metilo (SNMA)) o una mezcla de dos o más copolímeros a base de estireno tales como SEBS y SMA. Estas composiciones novedosas pueden ser extruidas y termoconformadas para producir servicio de alimentos de muy baja densidad y artículos de espuma consumidores tales como platos, contenedores con tapa articulada, charolas, tazones y cartones para huevos con buenas propiedades mecánicas.
