Abstract

조정장치는 CD-i플레이어와 같은 프로그램된 디바이스의 신호 통로(메모리 어드레스 위치)상에서 소정 신호의 발생을 식별하는 프로그램 가능한 이번트 필터(18)를 포함한다.
검출시에 하나이상의 연속적인 버스 신호는 버퍼(20)에서 포착된 다음 내부 프로세서(10)로 처리하는 기억수단(14)에 기록되거나 양방향의 통신 링크(16)을 거쳐 적절한 데이타 프로세싱 알고리즘을 구현하는 호스트 디바이스에 전송한다.
조종장치가 특히 이용되는 것은 방해받음이 없이 동작 시스템을 고려하는 프로그램된 디바이스의 오류를 수정하는 것이다.

제1도는 본 발명을 구체화시킨 CD-I(Compact Disc-Interractive)플레이어용 감시 캐트리지의 블럭도,
제2도는 판독 및 기록 싸이클 타이밍에 대한 타이밍도,
제3도는 제1도의 프로그래머블 논리 장치의 다른 실시예에서의 일단(a stage)을 나타낸 도면.

Claims (13)

  1. 프로그램된 프로세서를 토대로한 디바이스 동작을 조종하는 방법에 있어서, 소정의 프로세서 운영 시스템 이벤트를 표시하는 디바이스의 전자 신호를 결정하는단계와, 프로세서 운영 시스템에 대한 외부 위치로부터 상기 디바이스의 신호 통로상에서 상기 표시 신호의 발생에 대해 조종하는 단계와 상기 표시 신호의 발생을 검출시에, 프로세서 운영 시스템 이벤트의 소정 디테일을 포착하여 보고하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 프로그램된 디바이스의 동작 조종방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 포착 및 보고 단계는 상기 검출된 이벤트 또는 이벤트 들이 소정 메모리 위치에 액세스하는 경우 상기 메모리 장소로부터 판독되거나 그에 기록되는 것에 대한 정보를 보고하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 프로그램된 디바이스 동작 조정 방법.
  3. 제1항 또는 2항에 있어서 상기 포착 및 기록 단계는 시간 스탬프를 상기 포착된 데이타에 부가하여 이벤트 발생 포인트를 표시하는 것을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 프로그램된 디바이스 동작 조정방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 신호 통로는 조종되는 상기 프로세서를 토대로한 디바이스의 데이타 버스이고 상기 전자 신호는 소정 데이타 워드인 것을 특징으로 하는 프로그램된 디바이스 동작 조종 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서 상기 신호 통로는 조종되는 프로세서를 토대로한 디바이스의 어드레스 버스이고 상기 전자신호는 소정 메모리 어드레스인 것을 특징으로 하는 프로그램된 디바이스 동작 조종 방법.
  6. 제4항 또는 5항에 있어서, 이벤트 검출시에 상기 이벤트 다음의 소정 기간 동안 모든 버스 신호가 포착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 프로그램된 디바이스 동작 조종 방법.
  7. 프로그램된 프로세서를 토대로한 디바이스의 동작을 조종하는 장치에 있어서, 상기 프로세서를 토대로한 디바이스의 신호 통로에 접속되고 특정 프로세서 운영 시스템 이벤트를 표시하는 상기 디바이스의 적어도 하나의 소정 전자 신호의 발생을 검출하도록하는 필터 수단과, 상기 필터 수단에 접속되는 이벤트 캐쉬메모리로서 상기 필터 수단은 이벤트 검출시에 상기 캐쉬 메모리에 미리 선택된 이벤트 디테일을 기록하도록 동작되는 상기 캐쉬메모리와 상기 필터 수단에 접속되고상기 필터 수단을 거쳐상기 캐쉬메모리로부터 판독되는 포착된 이벤트 디테일을 저장하도록 동작되는 이벤트 데이타 저장 메모리를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 프로그램된 디바이스 동작 조종 장치.
  8. 제7항에 있어서 상기 필터 수단은 프로그램가능한 디바이스를 제어가능하게 구성하여 소정 디바이스 신호의 어레이로부터 적어도 하나를 검출하는 것을 특징으로하는 프로그램된 디바이스 동작 조종 장치.
  9. 제8항에 있어서 상기 필터 수단에 접속되어 하나이상의 필터 구성을 규정하는 정보를저장하는 필터 형태파일저장 수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 프로그램된 디바이스 동작조종장치.
  10. 제7항 내지 9항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 프로세서 회로는 포착된 이벤트 디테일을 상기 이벤트 데이타 저장 메모리의 제1면적으로부터 판독하도록 동작되며, 상기 데이타를 처리하고 상기 처리된 데이타 이벤트를 상기 이벤트 저장 메모리의 또 다른 면적에 기록하는 것을 특징으로 하는 프로그램된 디바이스 동작 조종장치.
  11. 제7항 내지 10항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 신호통로에 접속되고 상기 프로세서를 토대로한 디바이스의 동작을 인터럽트하도록동작하는 디버깅 수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 프로그램된 디바이스 동작 조종장치.
  12. 제7항 내지 11항 중에서 어느 한 항에 있어서 상기 프로세서에 접속되는 양방향성 통신 포트와 필터 수단 및 이벤트 데이타 저장 메모리를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 프로그램된 디바이스 동작 조종 장치.
  13. 상기 조종된 디바이스 동작 시스템의 지식에 의해 결정되는 데이타 프로세싱 알고리즘을 동작시키는 프로그램된 호스트 디바이스 및 양방향성 통신 링크에 의해 자신과 접속되는 제11항에 따른 프로그램된 디바이스 동작조종장치를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디버깅 장치.
