Abstract

본 발명은 산성 수용액에 산소로 수소를 직접 산화시켜 얻은 촉매와 과산화수소 제조에 관계한다. 촉매는 VIII기 금속과 부분적으로 친수성, 소수성인 서포트 가령 플로오린화된 탄소에 Pd와 같은 서포트로 구성된다. H2O2선택성과 촉매 안정성이 반응액에 나트륨과 염소이온 첨가시에 개선되고, 플로오린화 탄소 서포트의 경우에 플로오리드 이온원을 첨가한다.

Claims (25)

  1. 산성 수용액 용액에서 산소로 수소를 직접 산화시켜 과산화수소를 생산하는 공정에 있어서, 그 구성이 (a) 수소와 산성 수용액 용액을 포함하는 산소를 압력용기내에 소수성/친수성 서포트에 적어도 하나의 VIII 금속으로 구성된 촉매하에 접촉시키고, (b) 반응개시에 또는 촉매활성이 감소되는때에 산성 수용성 용액에 나트륨과 염소이온원을 제공하고, (c) 수소 폭발 제한치 이하의 수소 부분압과 용기내의 압력이 3.5MPa∼20MPa 범위내에서 용기의 압력을 유지시키고, 그리고 (d) 용액의 빙점에서 60°사이의 범위에서 온도를 유지시키는 단계로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 촉매 서포트는 일정범위의 플로오린화된 탄소이며, 서포트의 친수성이 촉매로부터 형성된 H2O2가 수용액으로 확산되고, 소수성이 기체성 반응물이 촉매와 접촉할 수 있도록 허용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 플로오린화 범위가 10 내지 65%F인 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 플로오린화 범위가 20 내지 25%F인 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 플로오린화 범위가 약 28%F인 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, VIII 금속이 Pd인 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
  7. 제3항에 있어서, VIII 금속이 Pd인 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
  8. 제3항에 있어서, 나트륨, 염소, 플로오리드 이온이 수용액에 NaCl와 NaF 형으로 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
  9. 제7항에 있어서, 나트륨, 염소, 플로오리드 이온이 수용액에 NaCl와 NaF 형으로 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, NaCl는 촉매기준시에 3∼30wt 범위로, NaF는 촉매기준시에 2∼10wt% 범위로 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
  11. 제1항에 있어서, 촉매 서포트는 부분적으로 수화된 가황탄소인 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
  12. 제1항에 있어서, 수용성 용액은 촉매가 표면에 부유하는 것을 막기 위해 교반시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
  13. 과산화수소 생산에 사용되는 촉매는 (a) 소수성, 친수성 서포트, (b) VIII기 금속, 그리고 (c) 나트륨과 염소이온 공급원으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
  14. 제13항에 있어서, VIII기 금속은 Pd이고 0.1∼10%wt 범위양으로 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
  15. 제13항에 있어서, 촉매 서포트는 10-65%F 정도로 플로오린화된 탄소이거나 또는 부분적으로 수화된 가황탄소인 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
  16. 제13항에 있어서, 플로오린화 정도는 20-50%인 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
  17. 과산화수소 생산용 촉매를 만드는 방법에 있어서, (a) 수용액에 소듐 시트레이트와 VIII기 금속염을 제공하고, (b) 용액을 가열하여 VIII 금속 소듐 시트레이트 콜로이드를 형성시키고, (c) 용액을 포함하는 콜로이드에 촉매 서포트를 첨가하고, 서포트는 부분적으로 소수성이고, 부분적으로 친수성이며, (d) 고형물에서 용액을 기화시키고, 그리고 (e) 수소대기에서 생성 고형물을 환원시키는 단계로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  18. 제17항에 있어서, VIII기 금속은 Pd이고 생성된 촉매에 0.1∼10%wt가 되도록 Pd를 제공하기 위해 충분한 량의 염소염으로 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  19. 제18항에 있어서, 촉매 소포트는 10∼65%F 정도의 플로오린화된 탄소거나 또는 부분적으로 수화된 가황탄소인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  20. 제19항에 있어서, 플로오린화 정도는 20 내지 50%F인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  21. 제20항에 있어서, 플로오린화 정도는 28%F인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  22. 제17항에 있어서, 시약은 (c) 단계에 첨가되어 용액의 밀도를 낮추어 서포트가 표면에서 부유하지 않도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  23. 제22항에 있어서, 시약이 메탄올인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  24. 제17항에 있어서, (e) 단계는 상승된 온도에서 실시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  25. 과산화수소 생산용 촉매를 만드는 방법에 있어서, (a) 수용액에 소듐 시트레이트와 VIII기 금속염을 제공하고, (b) 용액을 가열하여 VIII 금속 소듐 시트레이트 콜로이드를 형성시키고, (c) 용액이 포함된 촉매를 서포트에 첨가시키고, (d) 고형물에서 용액을 기화시키고, 그리고 (e) 수소대기에서 생성 고형물을 환원시키는 단계로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
