Abstract

본 발명은 촉매로서 활성탄을 사용하여 물과 할로겐을 반응시켜 할로겐화 수소와 산소를 제조하는 방법과, 촉매로서 산화크롬을 사용하여 할로겐화수소를 열 분해시켜 수소를 제조하는 방법, 그리고 이들 두 방법을 병합하여 산소 및 수소를 제조하는 방법을 제공한다.

산소 및 수소의 제조방법

제1도는 할로겐과 물과의 반응에 의해 생성되는 할로겐화 수소의 시간에 따른 농도변화를 도시한 그래프이다.
제2도는 물, 브롬 및 활성탄을 함유하는 반응조의 측면으로부터 빛을 조사하는 실험과정을 도시한 개략도이다.
제3도는 물, 브롬 및 활성탄을 함유하는 반응조의 상부로부터 빛을 조사하는 실험과정을 도시한 개략도이다.

Claims (16)

  1. 다음 화학 반응식(1)로 표시되는 바와 같이, 물과 할로겐을 반응시켜 활로겐화수소와 산소를 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 촉매로서 활성탄을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
    H2O+X2→2HX+½O2(1)
    (단, 상기식에서, x는 할로겐이다.)
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 활성탄이 염기성 표면 작용성기를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 활성탄이 백금을 담지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 반응중에 빛을 반응계에 조사하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 활성탕에 할로겐을 미리 흡착시키고 감압분 위기중에서 활성탄에 흡착된 할로겐을 물과 반응시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 반응계를 통해 불활성가스를 버블링시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 반응중에 미반응된 물 및 할로겐을 반응계로부터 분리시키고, 이렇게 분리된 물 및 할로겐을 별도의 반응계에서 반응시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 반응중에 반응혼합물중 일부를 반응계로부터 분리시키고, 이렇게 분리된 계내에서 반응혼합물로부터 미반응물 및 할로겐을 분리시킨 후, 상기 미반응된 물 및 할로겐을 원래의 반응계로 복귀시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 활성탄이 물과 할로겐간의 반응에서 사용되는 활성탄과, 할로겐화수소 분해 반응에서 사용되는 활성탄으로 교대로 전환되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 활성탄에 음 전위를 부여하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  11. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 할로겐 또는 할로겐화 수소와 반응하지 않는 환원제를 상기 반응계에 첨가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  12. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 할로겐 또는 할로겐화 수소와 반응하지 않는 산소흡착제를 상기 반응계에 첨가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  13. 다음 화학 반응식(1)로 표시되는 바와 같이, 물과 할로겐을 반응시켜 할로겐화 수소와 산소를 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 상기한 물로서 초임계수를 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
    H2O+X2→2HX+½O2(1)

  14. 다음 화학 반응식(2)로 표시되는 바와 같이, 할로겐화 수소를 분해하여 수소를 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 촉매로서 산화크롬(Cr2O3)을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
    2HX→H2+X2(2)
    (단, 상기 식에서, X는 할로겐이다.)
  15. 다음 화학 반응식(1) 및 (2)로 표시되는 바와 같이, 물과 할로겐을 반응시켜 할로겐화 수소와 산소를 생성시키고, 이어서, 생성된 할로겐화 수소를 분해시켜 수소를 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 상기 반응(1)에서는 촉매로서 활성탄을 사용하고, 상기 반응(2)에서는 촉매로서 산화크롬(Cr2O3)을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
