Claims (7)
- 탄화플루오프 말단부 및 탄화수소 또는 다른 탄화플루오르 말단부를 호함하며, 상기 말단부가 중앙 코어(core)에 의해 결합되어 있고, 스멕택 중간상 또는 잠재성 스멕틱 중간상을 갖는 비키랄성 플루오르-함유 액정 화합물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 탄화플루오르 말단부가 일반식(q는 1-20이고 D는(CH2)r, -O-(CH2)r, -(CH2)r, -OSO2-, -S02-, -SO2(CH2)r-, -O(CH2)r-O(CH2)r, -, -(CH2)r-, 또는 -(CH2)r-인데, r 및 r'는 각각 1-20이고 p는 0-4이다)으로 표시되는 화합물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 중앙 코어가 방향족, 헤테로방향족, 시클로지방족 또는 방향족, 헤테로방향족 또는 시클로지방족으로 치환된 링을 최소한 두개 포함하는 화합물.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 링이 -COO-, -COS-, -HC=N- 또는 -COSe-에 의해 서로 결합된 화합물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 화합물이 일반식 I로 표시되는 화합물:(Ⅰ)상기에서, M, N 및 P는 각각이고 ;a, b 및 c는 각각 0 또는 1 내지 3의 정수인데, a+b+c의 합이 최소한 2이고; A 및 B 각가은 비향성이고 각각 존재하지 않거나, 또는 -O-이며 ; X, Y 및 Z는 각각 -H, -Cl, -F, -Br, -I, -OH, -OCH3, -CH3, -CN 또는 -NO2이고 ; l,m 및 n은 각각 0 또는 1 내지 4의 정수이고 ; D는, -O-(CH2)r-, -(CH2)r-, -OSO2-, -SO2-, -SO2-(CH2)r-, -O(CH2)r-O-(CH2)r, -, -, 또는(r 및 r′각각은 1 내지 20이고 P는 0 내지 4이다); R은 -O-Cq′H2q′+1, -CqH1q-O-Cq′H2q′+1, -CqH2q-R′, -O-CqH2q-R′,, 또는이며, (R′는 -Cl, -F, -CF3, -NO2, -CN, -H,, 또는이고 q 및 q′는 각각 1 내지 20이다) 직쇄 또는 측쇄이고; Rf는 CqF2q+1(q 및 q'는 각각 1 내지 20이다)이다.
