Abstract

하기 일반식(Ⅰ)의 비닐 화합물은 액정 매질 성분으로 적합하다 :
상기식에서, R은 H, 또는 비치환되거나 CN 또는 CF3로 일치화되거나 또는 할로겐으로 적어도 일치환되고, 또한 하나 이상의 CH2그룹이 각 경우에 서로 독립적으로 산소원자가 서로 직접 결합되지 않는 방식으로 -O-, -S-, -◇-, -CO-, -CO-0- 또는 -O-CO-O-로 치환될 수 있는, 1 내지 15개의 탄소원자를 갖는 알킬 또는 알케닐 라디칼이고, A1및 A2는 각각 서로 독립적으로 (a) 하나 이상의 비인접 CH2그룹이 또한 -O- 및/또는 -S-로 치환될 수도 있는 트랜스-1,4-사이클로헥실렌 라디칼, (b) 1 또는 2개의 CH 그룹이 또한 N으로 치환될 수도 있는 1,4-페닐렌 라디칼 또는 (c) 1,4-사이클로헥세닐렌, 1,4-비사이클로(2,2,2)옥틸렌, 피페리딘-1,4-디일, 나프탈렌-2,6-디일, 데카하이드로나프탈렌-2,6-디일 및 1,2,3,4-테트라하이드로나프탈렌-2,6-디일로 이루어진 그룹중에서 선택되는 라디칼이며, 이때 라디칼(a) 및 (b)는 CN 또는 불소로 치환될 수도 있고, Z1및 Z2는 각각 서로 독립적으로 -CO-O-, -O-CO-, -CH2O-, -OCH2-, -CH2CH2-, -CH=CH-, -C≡C-, 또는 단일 결합이며, 라디칼 Z1및 Z2중 하나는 또한 -(CH2)4- 또는 -CH=CH-CH2CH2- 이고, Q는 단일 결합, -O-, -CH2-CH2-, -C≡C-, 트랜스-CH=CH-, -COO- 또는 -CH2O- 이며, X1은 H, F 또는 Cl이고, X2는 F, Cl, CF3또는 SF5이며, Y는 H, F 또는 Cl이고, r은 0 내지 4이고, n은 0 또는 1이며, m은 0, 1, 2, 3 또는 3이나, 단, Y가 H이고 Q가 단일 결합인 경우, X1및 X2는 Cl이다.

Claims (24)

  1. 하기 일반식(Ⅰ)의 비닐 화합물 :
  2. 상기식에서, R은 H, 또는 비치환되거나 CN 또는 CF3로 일치환되거나 또는 할로겐으로 적어도 일치환되고, 또한 하나 이상의 CH2그룹이 각 경우에 서로 독립적로 산소원자가 서로 직접 결합되지 않는 방식으로 -O-, -S-, -◇-, -CO-, -CO-O-, -O-CO- 또는 -O-CO- 또는 -O-CO- 또는 -O-CO-O- 로 치환될 수 있는, 1 내지 15개의 탄소원자를 갖는 알킬 또는 알케닐 라디칼이고, A1및 A2는 각각 서로 독립적으로 (a) 하나 이상의 비인접 CH2그룹이 또한 -O- 및/또는 -S-로 치환될 수도 있는 트랜스-1,4-사이클로헥실렌 라디칼, (b) 1 또는 2개의 CH 그룹이 또한 N으로 치환될 수도 있는 1,4-페닐렌 라디칼, 또는 (c) 1,4-사이클로헥세닐렌, 1,4-비사이클로(2,2,2)옥틸렌, 피페리딘-1,4-디일, 나프탈렌-2,6-디일, 데카하이드로나프탈렌-2,6-디일 및 1,2,3,4-테트라하이드로나프탈렌-2,6-디일로 이루어진 그룹중에서 선텍되는 라디칼이며, 이때 라디칼(a) 및 (b)는 CN 또는 불소로 치환될 수도 있고, Z1및 Z2는 각각 서로 독립적으로 -CO-O-, -O-CO-, -CH2O-, -OCH2-, -CH2CH2-, -CH=CH-, -C≡C-, 또는 단일 결합이며, 리디칼 Z1및 Z2중 하나는 또한 -(CH2)4- 또는 -CH=CH-CH2CH2-이고, Q는 단일 결합, -O-, -CH2-CH2-, -C≡C-, 트랜스-CH=CH-, -COO- 또는 -CH2O- 이며, X1은 H, F 또는 Cl이고, X2는 F, Cl, CF3또는 SF5이며, Y는 H, F 또는 Cl이고, r은 0 내지 4이고, n은 0 또는 1이며, m은 0,1,2 또는 3이나, 단, Y가 H이고 Q가 단일 결합인 경우, X1및 X2는 Cl이다.
