Description
1.基板としてのシリコンウエハー上のMOS(金属酸化物半導体:metal oxide semiconductor)または他のダイオード、

−極めて低温におけるスイッチ能力(屋外用途、自動車、航空機)
−UV照射に対する増大された耐性(より長い寿命)
−低い閾電圧。
R0は、1〜15個のC原子を有するアルキルまたはアルコキシ基を表し、ただし加えて、これらの基における1個以上のCH2基は、それぞれ互いに独立に、O原子が互いに直接つながらないようにして、−C≡C−、−CF2O−、−CH=CH−、
Aは、1,4−フェニレンまたはトランス−1,4−シクロヘキシレンを表し、

R3は、2〜9個のC原子を有するアルケニルを表し、
および、R4は式IにおいてR0について示される意味を有し、好ましくは1〜12個のC原子を有するアルキルまたは2〜9個のC原子を有するアルケニルを表す。
R0は、式Iにおいて示される意味を有し、および
X0は、F、Cl、1〜6個のC原子を有し一フッ素化または多フッ素化されたアルキルまたはアルコキシ基、2〜6個のC原子を有し一フッ素化または多フッ素化されたアルケニルまたはアルケニルオキシ基を表し、
Y1〜6は、それぞれ互いに独立に、HまたはFを表し、
Z0は、−C2H4−、−(CH2)4−、−CH=CH−、−CF=CF−、−C2F4−、−CH2CF2−、−CF2CH2−、−CH2O−、−OCH2−、−COO−、−CF2O−または−OCF2−を表し、式VおよびVIにおいては、単結合も表し、および
rは、0または1を表す。
alkylおよびalkyl*は、それぞれ互いに独立に、1〜6個のC原子を有する直鎖状のアルキル基を表し、および
alkenylおよびalkenyl*は、それぞれ互いに独立に、2〜6個のC原子を有する直鎖状のアルケニル基を表す。

Claims (15)
- 式IV〜VIIIの化合物より選択される1種類以上の化合物を追加的に含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の液晶媒体。
R0は、1〜15個のC原子を有するアルキルまたはアルコキシ基を表し、ただし加えて、これらの基における1個以上のCH2基は、それぞれ互いに独立に、O原子が互いに直接つながらないようにして、−C≡C−、−CF2O−、−CH=CH−、
X0は、F、Cl、1〜6個のC原子を有し一フッ素化または多フッ素化されたアルキルまたはアルコキシ基、2〜6個のC原子を有し一フッ素化または多フッ素化されたアルケニルまたはアルケニルオキシ基を表し、
Y1〜6は、それぞれ互いに独立に、HまたはFを表し、
Z0は、−C2H4−、−(CH2)4−、−CH=CH−、−CF=CF−、−C2F4−、−CH2CF2−、−CF2CH2−、−CH2O−、−OCH2−、−COO−、−CF2O−または−OCF2−を表し、式VおよびVIにおいては、単結合も表し、および
rは、0または1を表す。) - 1〜25重量%の式Iの化合物を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の液晶媒体。
- 1種類以上のUV安定化剤および/または抗酸化剤を追加的に含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の液晶媒体。
- 電気光学的目的のための請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の液晶媒体の使用。
- 請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の液晶媒体を含有する電気光学的液晶ディスプレイ。
- 式Iの1種類以上の化合物を、少なくとも1種類の更なるメソゲン化合物および任意成分としての添加剤と混合することを特徴とする請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の液晶媒体を調製する方法。
