Claims (8)

  1. 메조제닉 방향족 성분 및 3-원 헤테로사이클릭 환을 갖는 키랄 성분을 함유하는 하기 일반식(I)의 키랄 화합물.
    상기 식에서, R1은 직쇄 또는 측쇄(C1-C12) 알킬 (여기서, 하나 또는 2개의 이웃하지 않은 CH2그룹은 산소 및/또는 황으로 치환될 수 있다)이며, A는 디아진-2,5-디일 또는 디아진-3,6-디일이고, X 및 Y는 산소 및/또는 황이며, R2·R3및 R4는 서로 독립적으로 수소, 직쇄(C1-C10)알킬 또는 측쇄(C3-C10) 알킬이며, 단, R2, R3및 R4가 동시에 수소는 아니다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 일반식(I)에서 R1이 직쇄(C5-C11)알킬 (여기서, CH2그룹운 산소 또는 황으로 치환될 수 있다)이고, X 및 Y는 산소이며, R2및 R3는 수소이고, R4가 직쇄 또는 측쇄(C3-C7)알킬인 키랄에스테르.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, A가 피리미딘-2,5-디일인 키랄 에스테르.
  4. 적어도 하나의 일반식(I)의 키랄 화합물을 함유하는 꼬임성 액정 혼합물.
    상기 식에서, R1은 직쇄 또는 측쇄(C1-C12) 알킬 (여기서, 하나 또는 2개의 이웃하지 않은 CH2그룹은 산소 및/또는 황으로 치환될 수 있다)이며, A는 디아진-2,5-디일 또는 디아진-3,6-디일이고, X 및 Y는 산소 및/또는 황이며, R2·R3및 R4는 서로 독립적으로 수소, 직쇄(C1-C10)알킬 또는 측쇄(C3-C10) 알킬이며, 단, R2, R3및 R4가 동시에 수소는 아니다.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 일반식(I)의 카랄 화합물 이외에도 Sc 상을 갖는 페닐 피리미딘 화합물을 추가로 함유하는 꼬임성 액정 혼합물.
  6. 제4항의 액정상을 함유하는 액정 표시 소자.
  7. 경사 스멕틱상을 강유전성 액정상으로 전환시키 위한 일반식(I)에 따른 키랄 화합물의 용도.
  8. 적어도 하나의 일반식(I) 화합물을 액정상에 가함을 특징으로 하여, 경사 스멕틱상을 강유전성 액정상으로 전환시키는 방법.
