Claims (5)

  1. 하기 일반식(Ⅰ)의 광학적 활성 액정화합물.
    상기식에서, 1 및 m은 각각 0 또는 1이고, R1및R2중의 적어도 하나는 일반식(여기서, R3는 탄소수 2 또는 3의 알킬기이고, R4는 탄소수 3내지 18의 알킬기이지만, R3 R4이다)의 광학적 활성 알콕시기이고, 다른 하나는 탄소수 1 내지 20의 알킬기, 알콕시기, 알카노일옥시기, 할로겐원자 및 시아노기이며,
    (여기서, X,Y및Z는 각각 독립적으로 수소원자, 할로겐원자 및 시아노기중의 어느 하나이다)이다.
  2. 하기 일반식(Ⅰ)의 광학적 활성 액정화합물중의 1종을 적어도 1성분으로 함유함을 특징으로 하는 액정조성물.
    상기식에서, 1및 m은 각각 0 또는 1이고, R1및R2중의 적어도 하나는 일반식(여기서, R3는 탄소수 2 또는 3의 알킬기이고, R4는 탄소수 3내지 18의 알킬기이지만, R3 R4이다)의 광학적 활성 알콕시기이고, 다른 하나는 탄소수 1 내지 20의 알킬기, 알콕시기, 알카노일옥시기, 할로겐원자 및 시아노기이며,
    (여기서, X,Y및Z는 각각 독립적으로 수소원자, 할로겐원자 및 시아노기중의 어느 하나이다)이다.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 나타나는 액정 상이 키랄 스멕틱상인 액정조성물.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, 나타나는 액정 상이 키랄 네마틱상인 액정조성물.
  5. 하기 일반식(Ⅰ)의 광학적 액정화합물중의 1종을 적어도 1성분으로 함유하는 액정조성물을 사용하여 구성된 전기광학소자.
    상기식에서, 1및 m은 각각 0 또는 1이고, R1및R2중의 적어도 하나는 일반식(여기서, R3는 탄소수 2 또는 3의 알킬기이고, R4는 탄소수 3내지 18의 알킬기이지만, R3 R4이다)의 광학적 활성 알콕시기이고, 다른 하나는 탄소수 1 내지 20의 알킬기, 알콕시기, 알카노일옥시기, 할로겐원자 및 시아노기이며,
