Claims (4)

  1. 냉각시에 액정 상으로부터 유리상 형태로 동시에 고화하는 일반식(I)의 키랄 스멕틱 액정 화합물.
    상기식에서,및는 서로 독립적이며, 특히 동일한 키랄 스멕틱성 그룹이고, -B-는 가교결합하는 2가 그룹이다.
  2. 제1항에 따른 일반식(I)의 화합물을 함유하거나 이러한 화합물로 구성된 정보 표시 및 저장용 유리상물질.
  3. 제 1항에 따른 일반식(I)의 화합물을 함유하는 키랄 또는 키랄 도우프된 스멕틱 액정상에서의 강유전성 또는 전기임상적 전환 효과에 기초한 전기공학적 데이타 저장 또는 전기광학적 표시성분.
  4. 제 1항에 있어서,및는
    [여기에서, R은 F, Cl 및/또는 CN에 의해 치환될수 있거나, 1 또는 2개의 인접하지 않은 탄소원자(Ch 이후 두번째 탄소원자로부터)가 또한 -O-, -S-, -O-CO-, -CO-O-, -S-CO- 또는 -CO-S-에 의해 대체될 수 있는 직쇄 또는 측쇄 C1내지 C16-알킬 라디칼 또는 C2내지 C16-알케닐 라디칼이고, -Ch-는 -CHCl-, -CHF- 또는와 같은 분자내의 높은 자발 분극을 야기시키는 2가의 키랄 그룹이고, Z는 -CO- 또는 (-CH2)n-(여기에서, n는 1내지 8이다)이다]이고, -B-는
    (여기에서, m은 1 내지 16이다)인 일반식(I)의 화합물.
