Claims (7)

  1. 하기 일반식(Ⅰ)의 하나 이상의 혼합물과, 하기 일반식(Ⅱ), (Ⅲ) 및 (Ⅳ)의 화합물을 포함하는 그룹중에서 선택된 하나 이상의 대단히 높은 양(+)의 유전성을 갖는 화합물을 1 : 10 내지 10 : 1의 중량비로 함유하는 액정 혼합물 :
    상기식들에서, R1은 하나의 CH2그룹이 또한 -O- 또는 -CH=CH-로 치환될 수도 있는, C2내지 C12를 갖는 직쇄 알킬이고, R2는 R1에서 언급한 의미중 하나를 갖고, A 고리는 1,4-페닐렌 또는 트랜스-1,4-사이클로헥실렌이고, A1및 A2고리는 A 고리에 대해 나타낸 의미중 하나를 갖고, X 및 Y는 각각 서로 독립적으로 CH 또는 N이고, X1및 Y1는 CH2또는 0이고, r은 0 또는 1이고, L은 H 또는 F이다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 전체 혼합물에서 일반식(Ⅰ), (Ⅱ), (Ⅲ) 및 (Ⅳ) 화합물들의 비율이 적어도 50중량%임을 특징으로 하는 액정 혼합물.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 전체 혼합물에서 일반식(Ⅱ), (Ⅲ) 또는 (Ⅳ) 화합물들의 비율이 10 내지 40 중량%임을 특징으로 하는 액정 혼합물.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 전체 혼합물중에서 일반식(Ⅰ) 화합물의 비율이 적어도 15중량%임을 특징으로 하는 액정 혼합물.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 하나 이상의 하기 일반식(Ia), (Ib) 및/또는 (Ic) 화합물을 적어도 총 25 중량%의 양으로 함유함을 특징으로 하는 액정 혼합물 :
    상기식들에서, R1은 제1항에서 정의한 바와 같다.
  6. 제1항 내지 제6항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, R1및 R2가 각각 C2내지 C7을 갖는 n-알킬임을 특징으로 하는 액정 혼합물.
  7. 전광 목적에 사용하기 위한 제1항에 따른 액정 혼합물의 용도.
