Claims (4)

  1. 적어도 2가지의 액정 성분을 함유하는 역치 전압 1.6볼트 이하인 액정상에 있어서, 상기한 상은 회합도가 감소된 적어도 하나의 극성이 높은 성분과 상의 굽힘(K3) 및 펼침(K1)에 대한 탄성 상수의 상K3/K1이 ≤1.1값으로 감소될 수 있도록 적어도 하나의 비극성 액정성분을 동시에 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정상.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상이 다음 일반식(Ⅰ)을 가진 성분 적어도 하나를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정상.
    상기식에서, R1은 탄소수 1내지 12의 알킬이고, 여기에서 하나 또는 두 개의 인접되지 않는 CH2그룹은 산소원자, -CO-, -O-CO, -CO-O- 및/또는 -CH=CH-그룹으로 치환될수 있으며, A1및 A2는 각기 1, 4-페닐렌(여기에서 1내지 4개의 CH그룹은 질소원자로 치환될수 있음), 또는 1, 4-시크로헥실렌(에기에서 하나 또는 두 개의 인접되지 않는 CH2그룹은 산소원자로 치환될수 있음)이고, Z1은 -CO-O-, -O-CO-, -CH2-O-, -OCH2-, -CH2CH2-, -CH=N-, -N=CH-, -N=NO-, -NO-N- 또는 단일 결합이고, Z2는 -CO-O-, -O-CO-, -CH2O-, -OCH2-, -CH2CH2-, 또는 단일 결합이고, m은 0, 1 또는 2이고, A3는 3-할로게노-4-시아노페닐 또는 3, 5-디할로게노-4-시아노페닐이다.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 따른 액정상의 전기-광학 표시소자에의 용도.
  4. 제1항 또는 제2항에 따른 액정상을 함유하는 것을 특징으로하는 전기-광학 표시소자.
