Description
Claims (10)
- 프린트 헤드 요소를 포함하는 열 프린터에서,(A) 주위 온도, 상기 프린트 헤드 요소에 이전에 공급된 에너지, 및 상기 프린트 헤드 요소가 프린트할 프린트 매체의 온도에 기초하여 상기 프린트 헤드 요소의 온도를 예견하는 단계; 및(B) 상기 프린트 헤드 요소의 예견된 온도 및 상기 프린트 헤드 요소에 의해 프린트될 소정의 출력 밀도의 복수의 1차원 함수에 기초하여 상기 프린트 헤드 요소에 공급할 입력 에너지를 계산하는 단계를 포함하는, 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 복수의 1차원 함수는,입력으로서 소정의 출력 밀도 및 출력으로서 미보정 입력 에너지를 갖는 인버스 감마 함수; 및입력으로서 상기 프린트 헤드 요소의 현재의 온도 및 출력으로서 보정 팩터를 갖는 보정 함수를 포함하고,상기 단계 (A) 는 상기 미보정 입력 에너지에 상기 보정 팩터를 가산함으로써 상기 입력 에너지를 계산하는 단계를 포함하는, 방법.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 보정 함수는,상기 프린트 헤드 요소의 현재의 온도로부터 기준 온도를 감산함으로써 온도 차이값을 생성하는 단계; 및상기 온도 차이 값과 입력으로서 소정의 출력 밀도 및 출력으로서 감도 값을 갖는 감도 함수의 출력의 곱으로서의 보정 팩터를 생성하는 단계를 수행함으로써 상기 보정 팩터를 생성하는, 방법.
- 프린트 헤드 요소;주위 온도, 상기 프린트 헤드 요소에 이전에 공급된 에너지, 및 상기 프린트 헤드 요소가 프린트할 프린트 매체의 온도에 기초하여 상기 프린트 헤드 요소의 온도를 예견하는 수단; 및상기 프린트 헤드 요소의 예견된 온도 및 상기 프린트 헤드 요소에 의해 프린트될 소정의 출력 밀도의 복수의 1차원 함수에 기초하여 상기 프린트 헤드 요소에 공급할 입력 에너지를 계산하는 수단을 포함하는, 열 프린터.
- 제 4항에 있어서,상기 입력 에너지를 계산하는 수단은,입력으로서 소정의 출력 밀도 및 출력으로서 미보정 입력 에너지를 갖는 인버스 감마 함수 수단;입력으로서 상기 프린트 헤드 요소의 현재의 온도 및 출력으로서 보정 팩터 를 갖는 보정 함수 수단; 및상기 미보정 입력 에너지에 상기 보정 팩터를 가산함으로써 상기 입력 에너지를 계산하는 수단을 포함하는, 열 프린터.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 보정 함수 수단은,상기 프린트 헤드 요소의 현재의 온도로부터 기준 온도를 감산함으로써 온도 차이값을 생성하는 수단; 및상기 온도 차이 값과 입력으로서 소정의 출력 밀도 및 출력으로서 감도 값을 갖는 감도 함수의 출력의 곱으로서의 보정 팩터를 생성하는 수단을 포함하는, 열 프린터.
- 복수의 프린트 헤드 요소를 포함하는 프린트 헤드를 갖는 열 프린터에서, 복수의 프린트 헤드 사이클의 각각에 대하여, 복수의 출력 밀도를 생성하기 위하여 프린트 헤드 사이클 동안 복수의 프린트 헤드 요소에 공급될 복수의 입력 에너지를 생성하는 방법으로서,(A) 주위 온도, 적어도 하나의 이전 프린트 헤드 사이클 동안 복수의 프린트 헤드 요소에 공급된 복수의 입력 에너지, 및 상기 프린트 헤드 요소가 프린트할 프린트 매체의 온도에 기초하여 프린트 헤드 사이클의 초기의 복수의 프린트 헤드 요소의 복수의 예견된 온도를, 복수의 프린트 헤드 사이클의 각각에 대하여 생성하기 위하여 다중 해상도 열 전파 모델을 사용하는 단계; 및(B) 상기 복수의 예견된 온도 및 상기 프린트 헤드 사이클 동안 복수의 프린트 헤드 요소에 의해 출력될 복수의 밀도에 기초하여 상기 복수의 입력 에너지를 생성하기 위하여 인버스 매체 모델을 사용하는 단계를 포함하는, 방법.
- 제 7항에 있어서,(C) i 축, n 축, 및 j 축을 갖는 3차원 그리드를 정의하는 단계를 더 포함하고,상기 3차원 그리드는 복수의 해상도를 포함하고, 상기 복수의 해상도의 각각은 i 축 상의 구별된 좌표를 갖는 평면을 정의하고, 상기 복수의 해상도의 각각은 참조점들의 구별된 2차원 그리드를 포함하고, 3차원 그리드에서의 참조점 중 임의의 참조점은 그것의 i, n, 및 j 좌표에 의해 유일하게 참조될 수 있고;절대 온도 및 에너지 값은 3차원 그리드의 각각의 참조점과 관련되고;좌표 (0,n,j) 를 갖는 참조점과 관련된 절대 온도 값은 시간 간격 n 의 초기에서의 위치 j 의 프린트 헤드 요소의 예견된 온도에 대응하고, 좌표 (0,n,j) 를 갖는 참조점과 관련된 에너지 값은 시간 간격 n 동안 위치 j 의 프린트 헤드 요소에 공급할 입력 에너지의 양에 대응하고;상기 단계 (B) 는,(B)(1) 상기 복수의 출력 밀도 및 제로의 i 좌표를 갖는 복수의 참조점과 관련된 절대 온도 값에 기초하여 제로의 i 좌표를 갖는 복수의 참조점과 관련된 에너 지 값을 생성함으로써 상기 복수의 입력 에너지를 생성하는 단계를 포함하는, 방법.
- 제 8항에 있어서,(D) 다음의 수학식을 사용하여 상대 온도 값을 계산하는 단계로서,(E) 다음의 재귀 수학식을 사용하여 절대 온도 값을 계산하는 단계로서,여기서, nresolutions 는 3차원 그리드에서의 해상도의 수이고, Ts 는 주위 온도이고, 는 좌표 (i,n,j) 를 갖는 참조점과 관련된 절대 온도 값을 지칭하며, 는 해상도 i+1 로부터 해상도 i 까지의 인터폴레이션 연산자인, 상기 절대 온도 값 계산 단계를 더 포함하고,상기 단계 (B)(1) 는,다음의 재귀 수학식을 사용하여 복수의 입력 에너지를 계산하는 단계로서,
