Claims (10)
- OFDM 수신기에서 셀 선택을 수행하는 방법으로서,적어도 하나의 수신 안테나 각각에서, 수신된 신호를 샘플링하여 시간 영역 샘플들의 각각의 세트를 생성하는 단계;적어도 하나의 개략적 동기화(coarse synchronization) 위치를 판정하는 단계;상기 적어도 하나의 수신 안테나 각각에서:a) 상기 수신된 신호 내의 공통 동기화 채널 서브-캐리어들로부터 추출된 적어도 하나의 수신된 공통 동기화 시퀀스와 각각의 복수의 송신 안테나들의 대응하는 공통 동기화 시퀀스 간의 주파수 영역 상관을 수행하여 복수의 후보 상관 첨두치(correlation peak)를 식별하고,b) M개의 상관도가 가장 높은 첨두치들을 선택하고,c) 상기 M개의 상관도가 가장 높은 첨두치들의 각각에서, 시간 영역 샘플들을 주파수 영역 성분들로 재변경하고, 송신기 특정 정보를 포함하는 파일럿 채널 서브-캐리어들을 처리하여, 각각의 상관 첨두치와 연관된 송신기를 식별하고,d) 식별된 각각의 송신기에 대해 C/I(carrier-to-interference)를 판정하는 단계; 및상기 적어도 하나의 수신 안테나 중 임의의 수신 안테나에 대해 최고의 C/I를 갖는 것으로 판정된 송신기를 선택하는 단계를 포함하는 셀 선택 수행 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 수신된 신호 내의 공통 동기화 채널 서브-캐리어들로부터 추출된 적어도 하나의 수신된 공통 동기화 시퀀스와 각각의 복수의 송신 안테나들의 대응하는 공통 동기화 시퀀스 간의 주파수 영역 상관을 수행하여 복수의 후보 상관 첨두치를 식별하는 단계는,a) 상기 적어도 하나의 개략적 동기화 위치 중 하나에 관한 복수의 후보 미세 동기화 위치 각각에 대해,ⅰ) 각각의 수신 안테나에 대해, 상기 후보 미세 동기화 위치에 FFT 윈도의 위치를 정하고, FFT에 의해 상기 시간 영역 샘플들을 주파수 영역 성분들의 각각의 세트로 변경하는 단계,ⅱ) 각각이 적어도 하나의 송신기 각각의 송신 안테나에 의해 송신된 적어도 하나의 공통 동기화 시퀀스 각각에 대해, 주파수 영역 성분들의 세트들로부터 상기 송신 안테나에 대응하는 각각의 수신된 트레이닝 시퀀스를 추출하는 단계,ⅲ) 상기 적어도 하나의 공통 동기화 시퀀스 각각에 대해, 각각의 수신된 공통 동기화 시퀀스와, 각각의 복수의 송신 안테나의 대응하는 공통 동기화 시퀀스간의 상관을 계산하는 단계,ⅳ) 상기 상관들을 조합하여 각각의 후보 미세 동기화 위치에 대한 전체적 상관 결과를 생성하는 단계, 및b) 상기 상관들에서, 적어도 하나의 첨두치를 판정하는 단계 - 상기 적어도 하나의 첨두치 각각은 상관들의 국지적인(local) 최대값임 -를 포함하는 셀 선택 수행 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 적어도 하나의 수신 안테나 중 임의의 수신 안테나에 대해 최고의 C/I를 갖는 것으로 판정된 송신기를 선택하는 단계 후에, 선택된 송신기의 미세 동기화 위치에 기초하여 시간 영역 샘플들을 주파수 영역 성분들로 재변경하는 단계, 및 그 송신기에 대한 전용 파일럿 채널에 기초하여 추가의 미세 동기화를 수행하는 단계를 더 포함하는 셀 선택 수행 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 방법은, 헤더 OFDM 심볼의 서브캐리어들이 복수의 안테나 각각에 대한 서브캐리어들의 불연속한 세트로 분할되고, 각각의 안테나는 헤더 OFDM 심볼들을 서브-캐리어들의 각각의 세트 상에만 송신하는 헤더 OFDM 심볼 포맷을 갖는 MIMO-OFDM 프레임 포맷에 적용되며, 상기 헤더 OFDM 심볼들은 복수의 안테나 각각에 대해, 다중화된 전용 파일럿 채널 서브-캐리어들 및 공통 동기화 채널 서브-캐리어들을 포함하고, 상기 전용 파일럿 채널 서브-캐리어들의 내용이 반복되고 상기 공통 동기화 채널 서브-캐리어들의 내용이 반복되는 동안, OFDM 프레임은 2개의 동일한 헤더 OFDM 심볼로 시작하며, 상기 공통 동기화 채널 서브-캐리어들은 하나의 기지국의 각각의 안테나에 대해서는 상이하며 다수의 기지국들에 대해서는 공통인 복소 시퀀스(complex sequence)를 전달하고, 상기 전용 파일럿 채널 서브-캐리어들의 내용들은 특정 기지국에 대해 적어도 국지적으로 고유한 셀 선택 수행 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,송신기 스위칭을 위해, 상기 적어도 하나의 수신 안테나 중 임의의 수신 안테나에 대해 최고의 C/I를 갖는 것으로 판정된 송신기를 선택하는 단계 후에, 식별된 각각의 송신기에 대한 시구간(time interval)에 걸쳐 C/I를 평균하는 단계, 및 상기 시구간의 끝에서, 현재 선택되어 있는 송신기와 상이하다면, 최고의 평균 C/I를 갖는 송신기로 송신기 스위칭을 유도하는 단계를 더 포함하는 셀 선택 수행 방법.
