Abstract
"COMUNICAçãO BROADCAST/MULTICAST SINCRONIZADA". O broadcast sincronizado transmite um mesmo conteúdo de broadcast, usando uma mesma forma de onda a partir de múltiplos transmissores. Cada um dos transmissores aplica um mesmo código de espalhamento para as transmissões broadcast. Em um sistema de comunicação por espalhamento espectral possuindo um link direto multiplexado por divisão de tempo, uma transmissão por broadcast sincronizada é inserida em uma partição de broadcast. Uma modalidade emprega uma forma de onda de multiplexação por divisão de freqüência ortogonal (OFDM) para a irradiação sincronizada. Um receptor OFDM é então usado para processar a transmissão por broadcast sincronizada recebida. Uma modalidade alternativa implementa um código de ruído pseudo-aleatório (PN) para uso por múltiplos transmissores. Um equalizador é a seguir empregado para estimar a transmissão por broadcast sincronizada.
