Claims (16)
- 전파를 통하여 RFID 태그와 무선 통신을 행하고, 검출 영역에 검출 빔을 생성하는 안테나를 구비하고, 반사 바닥면이 존재하는 상기 검출 영역에서 상기 RFID 태그와 무선 통신을 행하는 장치로서,상기 장치는 상기 반사 바닥면에 수직한 주사면상에서 상기 검출 빔을 스캔하고,상기 생성된 검출 빔은 상기 주사면상에서 상기 주사면에 수직한 면상의 빔 폭 보다 좁은 빔 폭을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 RFID 태그와 무선 통신을 행하는 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 검출 빔의 진행 방향은 상기 반사 바닥면에 평행한 방향을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 RFID 태그와 무선 통신을 행하는 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 생성된 검출 빔의 최소 빔 폭은, 상기 주사면상에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 RFID 태그와 무선 통신을 행하는 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 안테나는 상기 반사 바닥면으로부터 사이를 두고 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 RFID 태그와 무선 통신을 행하는 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 안테나는 복수 개의 안테나 소자와,상기 생성된 검출 빔을 스캔하도록, 상기 복수 개의 안테나 소자로부터 송신된 신호의 위상을 이동(shift)하는 이상기를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 RFID 태그와 무선 통신을 행하는 장치.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 이상기는 복수 개의 이상기를 구비하고, 상기 복수 개의 이상기 각각은 상기 복수 개의 안테나 소자 각각에 접속되는 것을 특징으로 하는 RFID 태그와 무선 통신을 행하는 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 전파는 마이크로파인 것을 특징으로 하는 RFID 태그와 무선 통신을 행하는 장치.
- 제 1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 검출 빔의 상기 스캔을 제어하는 스캔 제어 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 RFID 태그와 무선 통신을 행하는 장치.
- 제 8항에 있어서,복수 개의 안테나를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 RFID 태그와 무선 통신을 행하는 장치.
- 제 9항에 있어서,적어도 2개의 상기 안테나는 상기 반사 바닥면에 수직인 방향으로 서로 사이를 두고 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 RFID 태그와 무선 통신을 행하는 장치.
- 제 9항에 있어서,상기 안테나 중 적어도 2개는 서로 대향 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 RFID 태그와 무선 통신을 행하는 장치.
- 제 8항에 있어서,상기 안테나를 통하여 상기 RFID 태그와 무선 통신을 행하는 통신 수단과,상기 통신 수단이 무선 통신을 완료한 상기 RFID 태그의 수를 카운트 하는 카운트 수단과,상기 안테나가 어떤 스캔 시간에 어떤 스캔 범위를 어떤 분할 각으로 스캔을 행하도록 스캔 제어 수단에 지시하고, 상기 스캔의 동안에 상기 카운트 수단이 카운트한 RFID 태그의 통신 완료 수를 취득하고, 상기 스캔 및 카운트를, 각각의 스캔 시간, 스캔 범위, 및 분할 각에 관해 반복함에 의해, RFID 태그의 통신 완료 수가 최대로 되도록, 스캔 시간, 스캔 범위, 및 분할 각을 결정함에 의해, 상기 빔의 스캔을 조정하는 스캔 조정 수단을 또한 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 RFID 태그와 무선 통신을 행하는 장치.
- 제 8항에 기재된 상기 RFID 태그와 무선 통신을 행하는 장치와,상기 장치의 안테나가 송신하는 전파의 반사면에 마련된, 반사파의 전파 강도를 저감하는 반사 강도 저감체를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 태그 통신 시스템.
- 제 1항 내지 제 7항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 상기 안테나가 송신하는 전파의 빔의 스캔을 조정하는 스캔 조정 방법으로서,어떤 스캔 시간에 어떤 스캔 범위를 어떤 분할 각으로 상기 스캔을 행하는 스캔 스텝과,상기 스캔 시간에 무선 통신이 완료된 RFID 태그의 통신 완료 수를 카운트하는 카운트 스텝과,상기 스캔 스텝 및 카운트 스텝을, 각각의 스캔 시간, 스캔 범위, 및 분할 각에 관해 반복하는 반복 스텝과,상기 반복 스텝에 의해, 상기 RFID 태그의 통신 완료 수가 최대로 되도록, 스캔 시간, 스캔 범위, 및 분할 각을 결정하는 결정 스텝을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 안테나가 송신하는 전파의 빔의 스캔을 조정하는 스캔 조정 방법.
- 제 12항에 기재된 RFID 태그와 무선 통신을 행하는 장치를 동작시키기 위한 스캔 조정 프로그램을 기록한 기록 매체로서, 컴퓨터를 상기 스캔 조정 수단으로서 기능시키기 위한 스캔 조정 프로그램을 기록한 기록 매체.
