Claims (17)
- 하나 이상의 유기층, 및 각각 양극 및 음극으로서 작용하는 한 쌍의 전극을 포함하는 유기 전기발광 소자로서,상기 유기층이 발광층을 포함하고 상기 한 쌍의 전극 사이에 샌드위치되어 있으며, 상기 한 쌍의 전극중 하나 이상이 투명 전극으로서 제공되고, 상기 유기 전기발광 소자는 하기 수학식 1을 만족시키도록 형성되며;상기 발광광이 상기 발광층으로부터 상기 투명 전극을 통해 출사되는 동안 상기 발광광의 반사/굴절각이 교란되도록, 반사/굴절각 교란 영역이 공기층의 삽입 없이 제공되어 있는 유기 전기발광 소자:수학식 1상기 식에서, B0은 광추출면으로부터 조사된 발광광의 정면 휘도 값이고, Bθ는 50° 내지 70°의 각도에서의 상기 발광광의 휘도 값이다.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,반사/굴절각 교란 영역이, 투명 재료, 및 상기 투명 재료와 상이한 굴절률을 갖고 상기 투명 재료 내에 분산/분포된 투명 또는 불투명 재료를 함유하는 광확산성 부위로 이루어지는 유기 전기발광 소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,반사/굴절각 교란 영역이 렌즈 구조로 이루어지는 유기 전기발광 소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,반사/굴절각 교란 영역이 요철면으로 이루어지는 유기 전기발광 소자.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,반사/굴절각 교란 영역으로부터 볼 때 발광측 상에 제공되는 반사형 편광 소자를 추가로 포함하는 유기 전기발광 소자.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,반사형 편광 소자가 콜레스테릭 액정층으로 이루어진 반사형 원형 편광 소자인 유기 전기발광 소자.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,반사형 편광 소자가 굴절률이 상이한 2종 이상의 재료의 다층 적층물로 이루어진 반사형 직선 편광 소자인 유기 전기발광 소자.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,면내 굴절률 이방성을 갖지 않고 면내 굴절률보다 두께방향 굴절률이 큰 광학 보상층을 추가로 포함하는 유기 전기발광 소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,반사/굴절각 교란 영역이 투광성 수지, 및 상기 투광성 수지와 복굴절 특성이 상이하고 상기 투광성 수지 내에 분산/분포된 미소 영역을 포함하는 편광/산란성 부위로 이루어지는 유기 전기발광 소자.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,편광/산란성 부위 내의 미소 영역이 액정 재료, 과냉각 고정된 액정상을 갖는 유리 상태 재료, 및 에너지선에 의해 가교 고정된 중합성 액정의 액정상을 갖는 재료로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 하나의 재료로 이루어지는 유기 전기발광 소자.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,편광/산란성 부위가 투광성 수지, 및 50℃ 이상의 유리 전이 온도를 갖고 상기 투광성 수지의 유리 전이 온도보다 낮은 온도에서 네마틱 액정상을 나타내는 액정 중합체로 이루어지고 상기 투광성 수지 내에 분산되어 있는 미소 영역을 함유하는 유기 전기발광 소자.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,편광/산란성 부위가 미소 영역과 상기 미소 영역의 각각의 광축 방향에서의 다른 부분 사이의 굴절률차(Δn1, Δn2 및 Δn3)를 나타내고, 여기서 상기 굴절률차(Δn 1, Δn2 및 Δn3)중 최고치로서 하나의 축 방향(Δn1 방향)의 굴절률차 Δn 1이 0.03 내지 0.5이고, Δn1 방향에 수직한 2개의 축 방향(Δn2 방향 및 Δn3 방향)의 굴절률차 Δn2 및 Δn3이 각각 0.03 이하인 유기 전기발광 소자.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 5 항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 유기 전기발광 소자를 갖는 면 광원.
- 제 6 항 내지 제 13 항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 유기 전기발광 소자를 갖는 편광형 면 광원.
- 제 14 항에 따른 면 광원을 갖는 표시 장치.
- 제 15 항에 따른 편광형 면 광원을 갖는 표시 장치.
