Abstract
Description
が可能な未溶着部とを前記包装袋の開口部の幅方向に連続するように形成し、前記溶着部と前記挟持棒により挟持されている部分との間の気体を前記未溶着部により構成される小開口部から前記包装袋外に排出した後、前記未溶着部を溶着するとよい。
本実施形態では、シリコン用包装袋1は、例えばポリエチレンなどの合成樹脂等の透明フィルムから構成され、図1に示すように、4つの側面部2,2,3,3と底面部4とを備えた横断面略長方形状の形状を有しており、4つの側面部2,2,3,3のうち対向する一対の側面部3,3には、該包装袋1を小さく折り畳むことができるようにするため、幅方向の中央位置に内側に向かって屈曲可能な折り目が設けられている。未使用時においては、シリコン用包装袋1はこの折り目に沿って畳まれてコンパクトなものであり、使用時に広げることによって袋状になる。
次に、塊状多結晶シリコンWの包装方法の具体的手順について説明する。上記の構成の包装袋1を内側袋1a(包装袋)として、図2Aに示すように、まず該内側袋1aの内部に塊状多結晶シリコンWを所定量充填する。次に、図2Bに示すように、内側袋1aの上端の開口部において、折り目のついていない一対の側面部2a,2aの内側面同士を重ね合わせて重ね合わせ部8aを形成する。その後、重ね合わせ部8aの上端部を水平方向(内側袋1aの幅方向)に沿って熱シールすることで、内側袋1aは封止される。そして、図2Cに示すように、帯状の折り畳み部9aを形成する。これにより、塊状多結晶シリコンWの内側袋1aへの充填手順が終了する。
なお、外側袋1bも内側袋1aと同様に、前述した包装袋1と同一形状とされているが、その外径寸法は内側袋1aの外径寸法よりも僅かに大きなものとされている。
内側袋包装体10aを外側袋1bに収容する際には、断面形状である略正方形の辺を揃えるようにして収容する。

Claims (8)
- 包装袋に多結晶シリコンを充填した後、前記多結晶シリコンが充填されてなる充填部よりも前記包装袋の開口部側でありかつ前記包装袋を溶着してシールするための溶着シール予定部より前記充填部側の部位を、前記充填部に気体が流れ込まない様に挟持棒で挟持し、該挟持棒により挟持した状態で前記溶着シール予定部をシール棒により挟んで溶着し、溶着後に前記挟持棒を取り外すことを特徴とする多結晶シリコンの包装方法。
- 前記溶着シール予定部を前記シール棒により溶着する際に、前記シール棒により溶着された溶着部と気体の流通が可能な未溶着部とを前記包装袋の開口部の幅方向に連続するように形成し、前記溶着部と前記挟持棒により挟持されている部分との間の気体を前記未溶着部により構成される小開口部から前記包装袋外に排出した後、前記未溶着部を溶着することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多結晶シリコンの包装方法。
- 前記挟持棒またはその周辺が冷却された状態で前記包装袋を挟持することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の多結晶シリコンの包装方法。
- 前記溶着シール予定部が前記シール棒により溶着された後、前記挟持棒により挟持されていた部位と前記充填部との間で前記包装袋を折り曲げることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の多結晶シリコンの包装方法。
- 前記挟持棒は、前記シール棒を取り外した後に取り外されることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の多結晶シリコンの包装方法。
- 請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の多結晶シリコンの包装方法により前記多結晶シリコンが前記包装袋に包装された第1包装体を、前記包装袋とは異なる第2包装袋に収容した後、
前記第1包装体を収容してなる収容部よりも前記第2包装袋の開口部側でありかつ前記第2包装袋を溶着してシールするための溶着シール予定部より前記収容部側の部位を、前記収容部に気体が流れ込まない様に挟持棒で挟持し、該挟持棒により挟持した状態で前記溶着シール予定部をシール棒により挟んで溶着し、溶着した後に前記挟持棒を取り外すことを特徴とする多結晶シリコンの二重包装方法。 - 前記挟持棒は、前記シール棒を取り外した後に取り外されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の多結晶シリコンの二重包装方法。
- 多結晶シリコンを加工または破砕して塊状多結晶シリコンを形成し、該塊状多結晶シリコンを請求項1から請求項5のいずれか一項に記載の多結晶シリコンの包装方法、又は請求項6又は7に記載の多結晶シリコンの二重包装方法により包装し、包装された前記塊状多結晶シリコンを包装袋から取り出して、単結晶シリコンを製造する原料とすることを特徴とする単結晶シリコン用原料製造方法。
