Claims (9)
- 1.車両側面部分−たとえば該側面部分の鋼鉄製外板近くのサイドドア内部中央 −に取り付けることができ側面衝突である交通事故の検出に用いられるべきセン サとして、少なくとも1つの空気圧検出器が設けられており、たとえば圧電また はピエゾ抵抗式のピエゾマイクロフォンまたはたとえば容量的または誘導的にダ イヤフラムの運動を検出する圧力センサが設けら九ている、 相応に重大な交通事故発生時にトリガされるべき車両の乗員保護システムーたと えばエアバッグシステムー用の制御ユニットにおいて、 当該制御ユニットは、交通事故発生時に生じるセンサ周囲空気の衝撃的な圧力上 昇を評価することを特徴とする、 車両の乗員保護システム用の制御ユニット。
- 2.当該制御ユニットはセンサ出力信号をその周波数成分に応じてろ波し、車両 形式に依存して、限界周波数よりも低い周波数範囲−たとえば1kHzよりも低 い周波数範囲−を優先的に評価する、請求項1記載の制御ユニット。
- 3.当該制御ユニットはセンサから供給されたアナログまたはほぼアナログの空 気圧値を積分する、請求項1または2記載の制御ユニット。
- 4.当該制御ユニットは、側面衝突により引き起こされたセンサ周囲空気におけ る圧力上昇の勾配を検出し、最小勾配値を越えたときにだけ乗員保護システムを トリガする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載の制御ユニット。
- 5.当該制御ユニットは、側面衝突により引き起こされたセンサ周囲空気におけ る圧力上昇の振幅を検出し、最小振幅値を越えたときにだけ乗員保護システムを トリガする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項記載の制御ユニット。
- 6.当該制御ユニットは、側面衝突を検出する加速度ないし減速度センサを付加 的に有しており、空気圧センサの出力信号自体はまだ乗員保護システムのトリガ に十分な判定基準を供給していないが、加速度ないし減速度センサの出力信号は −少なくとも空気圧センサの出力信号との組み合わせで−乗員保護システムのト リガに十分な判定基準を供給しているときにも、当該制御ユニットは乗員保護シ ステムをトリガする、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項記載の制御ユニット。
- 7.当該制御ユニットのセンサは、少なくとも十分に密閉されたカプセルを成す サイドドアの中空室内に取り付けられている、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項記載 の制御ユニット。
- 8.当該制御ユニットは、空気圧監視には用いられないセンサまたは空気圧監視 専用ではないセンサを付加的に有する、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の制御 ユニット。
- 9.当該制御ユニットは固体中伝播音響センサによって、著しく高い周波数−た とえば10kHz〜100kHzの周波数−のときに側面部分に発生する固体中 伝播音響も評価する、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項記載の制御ユニット。
