Description
本発明は必要成分として(a)遊離基機構によつて
重合可能であり、かつエチレン性不飽和末端基を
有する化合物、(b)ポリマーのバインダーおよび(c)
光重合開始剤を含む光重合性混合物に関する。 このタイプの光重合性化合物は例えば米国特許
第2760863号、同第3060023号および同第3149975
号明細書に記載された。これらの明細書中に記載
されている重合性のエチレン性不飽和化合物は末
端のまたは側鎖のビニル基またはビニリデン基を
有する低分子および高分子化合物、特に低分子ま
たは高分子のポリヒドロキシ化合物のアクリレー
トおよびメタクリレートである。実地ではこのタ
イプのエステルをベースとする光重合性材料が重
合性化合物として殆ど独占的に採用されてきた。
これらの中で特に低分子量の代表的物質が有利に
工業で採用されている。 これらの化合物は実地で高い感光性を有する混
合物を与え、かつ高い架橋密度を有する露光生成
物を与えるが、場合によつては異なる性質、例え
ばより低い揮発性および粘着性または鹸化化剤に
対するより高い抵抗性を有する化合物を得ること
が望まれる。 西ドイツ国特許出願公開第2556845号公報は、
重合性化合物してα―位にメチレン基を有するジ
カルボン酸の不飽和ポリエテスルを含有する光重
合性混合物を開示した。これらの化合物は多くの
望ましい機械的かつ化学的性質を有している。し
かしながらこれらの化合物から製造される混合物
の感光性は優れたアクリレートには及ばない。 本発明の課題は、その感光性においてアクリレ
ートをベースとする公知の混合物に少なくとも匹
敵し、しかし揮発性の重合性化合物は含まず、粘
着性膜光重合性混合物であり、かつその光架橋生
成物が刺激性物質、例えば鹸化剤に対して高い抵
抗性を有する混合物を提供することである。 本発明の目的は、必要成分として (a) 遊離基機構によつて重合可能であり、かつエ
チレン性不飽和末端基を有する化合物 (b) ポリマーのバインダーおよび (c) 光重合開始剤を含有する光重合性混合物であ
る。 本発明による混合物は遊離基機構によつて重合
可能である化合物としてα，α′―ビス―メチレン
―ジカルボン酸とジヒドロキシ化合物のポリエス
テルで使用されるポリエステルは一般式： 〔式中R1はヘテロ原子によつて部分的に置換
されていてもよい、Ｃ―原子数１〜15の二価の脂
肪族基、Ｃ―原子数３〜15の二価の脂環式基、ま
たは脂環式基またはフエニレン基により中断され
ているＣ―原子数７〜15の二価の脂肪族基であ
り、R2はヘテロ原子によつて部分的に置換され
ていてもよい、Ｃ―原子数２〜50の二価の脂肪族
基、または脂環式基またはフエニレン基により中
断されているＣ―原子数７〜15の二価の脂肪族基
であり、かつｎは２〜30、有利に２〜15の数であ
る〕の繰返し単位を有する化合物である。 R1が有利に二価の基である式の単位を有す
る化合物ではその末端員は非環状脂肪族炭素原子
である。末端炭素原子は有利に線状脂肪族鎖を介
して結合される。この鎖はヘテロ原子、例えば
Ｏ，NHおよびＳ、特に０により、脂環式基、特
にシクロヘキシレン環により、フエニレン基によ
りまたはオレフイン性二重結合により中断されて
いてよい。有利にR1はＣ―原子数１〜５のアル
キレン基であり、特に有利にはトリメチレン基で
ある。 R2は有利に式： −CnH2n−（OCnH2n−）k 〔式中ｍは２〜８の数であり、かつｋは０また
は１〜15の数である〕の基である。 本発明による混合物中で使用される不飽和ポリ
エステルは有利に線状である、すなわち専らジカ
ルボン酸とジヒドロキシ化合物から形成される。
しかし該ポリエステルは次位の数でトリカルボン
酸よび／またはトリオールの単位をこれが有機溶
剤および所望の、有利に水性の現像剤溶液に対す
る化合物の溶解性に不利な作用を与えない限りに
おいて含有していてよい。分枝鎖単位の割合は一
般に10モル％を下回るべきである。 不飽和線状ポリエステルを製造するために好適
なジカルボン酸は例えば次のものである： ヘキサ―１，５―ジエン―２，５―ジカルボン
酸 ヘプタ―１，６―ジエン―２，６―ジカルボン

をジヒドロキシ化合物と重縮合反応させるかまた
は式： 〔式中R5は有利にＣ―原子数１〜４の低級ア
ルキル基を表わす〕のジカルボン酸エステルをジ
ヒドロキシ化合物でエステル交換することにより
製造することができる。一般にジメチルエステル
またはジエチルエステルをエステル交換反応で使
用する。前記のジカルボン酸およびこれらのジメ
チルエステルまたはジエチルエステルの製造は西
ドイツ国特許出願P2952697.4号（1979年12月29日
出願）明細書に記載されている。 この方法においては、マロン酸ジアルキルエス
テル２モルをジブロム化合物Br―R1―Br1モル
と反応させる。ビス―アルキル化生成物を部分的
に鹸化してそれぞれ各マロンエステル基の１個の
カルボキシル基を遊離し、かつこのジカルボン酸
をホルムアルデヒドと同時に脱カルボキシル化し
つつ反応させてモノマーのジカルボン酸エステル
が得られる。 これらの化合物の若干は前記の文献に記載され
ている。 前記の合成法の利点は本発明による化合物の多
数が標準的な方法によつて容易に得られることで
ある。 使用することのできる好適なジヒドロキシ化合
物の例は次の通りである： ２，２―ビス―（４―ヒドロキシエトキシ―フ
エニル）プロパン、ペンタン―１，５―ジオー
ル、ｎ―ヘキサン―１，６―ジオール、２―エチ
ル―ヘキサン―１，６―ジオール、２，３―ジメ
チル―ヘキサン―１，６―ジオール、ヘプタン―
１，７―ジオール、シクロヘキサン―１，４―ジ
オール、ノナン―１，７―ジオール、ノナン―

よび600のポリエチレングリコール。 ２つの基R1およびR2を変えることにより種々
の不飽和ポリエステルを製造することができる。
種々のポリエステルもしくはこれらの混合物を使
用することによりこれらのポリエステルから製造
される記録材料の物質的性質を広く変えることが
できる。 基R1が原子３個を含む鎖、例えばプロピレン
―１，３―、２―オキサ―プロピレン―１，３―
または２，２―ジメチル―プロピレン―１，３―
から成る式の化合物を有する複写膜がきわめて
高い感光性を有することが示された、それという
のも付加的に閉環重合反応が進行する可能性があ
るからである。これは特にR1としてトリメチレ
ン基を有する式の化合物に該当する。 適当な線状ポリエステルを選択することにより
実地で複写膜に対して求められる種々の要求を満
足させることができる。 このようにして例えば本発明による化合物とバ
インダーとの相容性、柔軟性、機械的強度、耐溶
剤性または膜の現像可能性を種々の要求に適合さ
せることができる。 有利に重合性の基、例えばアクリレートまたは
メタクリレート基２個以上を含有する常用の低分
子の重合性化合物を本発明による化合物に添加し
てもよい。この場合にはもちろん前記のような、
光重合性混合物中に新規の線状ポリマー化合物を
使用することにより得られる利点がこれらの常用
の化合物によつて著しくは低下させられないよう
に注意しなければならない。例えば可塑剤効果を
この添加によつて得ることができる。一般に低分
子のアクリレートはモノマーの総重量の70％、有
利に60％以下であるべきである。 公知の低分子の重合性化合物の中で脂肪族多価
アルコールのアクリレートまたはメタクリレート
かつ特に式： 〔式中R3はＨ、Ｃ―原子数１〜６のアルキル
基、有利にメチルまたはエチル基、ニトロ基また
はメチロール基であり、かつR4はＨまたはメチ
ル基である〕の化合物が特に優れている。 この式の好適な化合物の例はトリメチロールメ
タン、トリメチロールエタン、トリメチロールプ
ロパン、トリメチロールニトロメタンおよびペン
タエリトリトールのトリアクリレートおよびトリ
メタクリレートである。 光重合性混合物中の重合性化合物の全量は一般
に約10〜90、有利に20〜60重量％である。 所定の適用に応じ、かつ所望の性質に応じて新
規光重合性混合物は添加物として種々の性質を含
んでいてよい。例えば組成物の熱重合を妨げる抑
制剤、水素供与体、かかる膜の感光度測定的性質
を修正する物質、染料、有色および無色顔料、発
色剤、指示薬、可塑剤等である。 これらの成分はこれらが有利に、開始工程で重
要な化学線の範囲内でできる限り小さな吸収をす
るようにして選択すべきである。 この明細書の範囲内で化学線とはそのエネルギ
ーが少なくとも短波の可視光線のエネルギーに相
当する任意の放射線と理解すべきである。長波の
UV線、また電子線、Ｘ線およびレーザー線が特
に好適である。 多数の物質を本発明による混合物中で光重合開
始剤として使用することができる。例えばベンゾ
イン、ベンゾインエーテル、多環式キノン、例え
ば２―エチル―アントラキノン、アクリジン誘導
体、例えば９―フエニル―アクリジン、９―ｐ―
メトキシフエニル―アクリジン、９―アセチルア
ミノ―アクリジンおよびベンゾ(a)アクリジン；フ
エナジン誘導体、例えば９，10―ジメチル―ベン
ゾ(a)フエナジン、９―メチル―ベンゾ(a)フエナジ
ンおよび10―メトキシ―ベンゾ(a)フエナジン；キ
ノキサリン誘導体、例えば６，4′，4″―トリメト
キシ―２，３―ジフエニルキノキサリンおよび
4′，4″―ジメトキシ―２，３―ジフエニル―５―
アザキノキサリン；キナゾリン誘導体および特定
のトリクロルメチル―ｓ―トリアジンである。一
般に光重合開始剤の量は混合物の非揮発性成分に
対して0.1〜10重量％である。 露光を電子線を用いて実施する場合には、可視
光および近紫外線に対して敏感な公知の光分解性
酸供与体の他に、その吸収範囲が電磁スペクトル
の相対的に短かい波長部分にあり、したがつて昼
光に対して低い感度を有する光重合開始剤も好適
である。これは記録材料を光を排除せずに取扱う
ことができ、かつ該材料の貯蔵安定性を増加させ
ることができる利点を有する。 挙げることのできる、この種の開始剤の例はト
リブロムメチル―フエニル―スルホン、２，2′，
４，4′，６，6′―ヘキサブロム―ジフエニルアミ
ン、ペンタブロムエタン、２，３，４，５―テト
ラクロル―アニリン、ペンタエリトリトールテト
ラブロミド、クロルエルフエニル樹脂または塩素
化パラフインである。 使用される水素供与体は主として脂肪族ポリエ
ーテルである。場合によりこの役割は不安定な水
素を有しているバインダーまたは重合性モノマー
によつて実施することもできる。 多数の可溶性有機の、有利に飽和ポリマーをバ
インダーとして使用することができる。例えばポ
リアミド、ポリビニルエステル、ポリビニルアセ
タール、ポリビニルエーテル、ポリアクリレー
ト、ポリメタクリレート、ポリエステル、アルキ
ド樹脂、ポリアクリルアミド、ポリビニルアルコ
ール、ポリエチレンオキシド、ポリジメチルアク
リルアミド、ポリビニルピロリドン、ポリビニル
メチルホルムアミド、ポリビニルメチルアセトア
ミドおよび前記のホモポリマーを形成するモノマ
ーのコポリマーを挙げることができる。 他の使用することのできるバインダーは天然物
質または変性天然物質、例えばゼラチン、セルロ
ースエーテル等である。 水に不溶だが、水性アルカリ性溶液に可溶であ
るかまたは少なくとも膨潤可能であるバインダー
を使用するのが特に有利である、それというのも
かかるバインダーを含有する膜は優れた水性アル
カリ性現像剤を用いて現像することができるから
である。このタイプのバインダーは例えば次の
基：―COOH、―PO3H2、―SO3H、―
SO2NH2、―SO2―NH―CO―等を含んでいてよ
い。例えばマレエート樹脂、β―メタクリロイル
オキシエチルＮ―（ｐ―トリル―スルホニル）―
カーバメートのポリマーおよび該ポリマーまたは
類似のモノマーと他のモノマーとのコポリマーお
よびスチレン／無水マレイン酸コポリマーを挙げ
ることができる。メチルメタクリレート／メタク
リル酸コポリマー、およびメタクリル酸、アルキ
ルメタクリレートおよびメチルメタクリレートお
よび／またはスチレン、アクリルニトリル等との
コポリマー（西ドイツ国特許出願公告第2064080
号および同第2363806号公報に記載）が優れてい
る。 バインダーの量は一般に混合物の非揮発性成分
の10〜90、有利に40〜80重量％である。 光重合性混合物は種々の用途、例えば安全ガラ
ス、光線または微粒子線、例えば電子ビームによ
り硬化する塗料の製造に、歯科の分野で、かつ特
に複写の分野で感光性複写材料として使用するこ
とができる。 本発明の詳細な記載はこの適用分野に限られて
いるが、本発明はこれに限定されるものではな
い。この分野において使用可能なものとして活版
印刷、平版印刷、グラビヤ印刷およびスクリーン
印刷の印刷版、レリーフ複写、例えば点字テキス
ト、単一複写、銀面、顔料像等の写真製版のため
の複写膜が挙げられる。更に混合物はエツチレジ
ストの写真製版、例えばネームプレート、プリン
ト配線の製造に、かつ蝕刻に使用することができ
る。本発明による混合物は平版印刷版およびエツ
チレジストの写真製版のための複写膜として、特
にプレセンシタイジング材料として特に重要であ
る。 前記の用途のために混合物の商業上の利用は液
状溶液または分散液の形で、例えばいわゆる複写
用塗布剤として行なうことができ、これはユーザ
ー自身によつて例えば蝕刻、プリント配線スクリ
ーン印刷ステンシル等の製作のために各支持材に
施される。混合物はまた好適な支持材上の固体の
感光膜として保存可能にプレコーチングされた感
光性複写材料の形で例えば印刷版の製作用に存在
してよい。同様にドライレジストの製作にも好適
である。 一般に混合物を光重合の間空中酸素の影響から
十分に守るのが有利である。混合物を薄い複写膜
の形で使用する場合には、酸素に対して僅かな透
過性を有する適当なカバーシートを設けることが
推奨される。このシートは自己支持性であつてよ
く、かつ現像前に複写膜から剥がす。例えばこの
目的のためにはポリエステルシートが好適であ
る。カバーシートは現像液に溶けるかまたは少な
くとも硬化していない位置では現像の際に、除去
することができる材料から成つていてもよい。好
適な材料は例えばワツクス、ポリビニルアルコー
ル、ポリリン酸塩、糖等である。 本発明による混合物を用いて製造される複写材
料用の支持材としては例えばアルミニウム、鋼、
亜鉛、銅およびプラスチツクシート、例えばポリ
エチレンテレフタレートまたはセルロースアセテ
ートから成るもの、並びにスクリーン印刷版用支
持材、例えばポリアミド―６のガーゼが好適であ
る。多くの場合支持材表面を前処理（化学的また
は機械的）にかけるのが有利であり、その目的は
膜の付着を正しく調節することもしくは複写膜の
化学線範囲内の支持材の反射率を低下させること
（ハレーシヨン防止）である。 本発明による混合物を用いて感光性材料を製造
することは公知方法で行なわれる。 すなわち混合物を溶剤に吸収させ、かつこの溶
液もしくは分散液をキヤステイング、スプレー、
浸漬、ローラ塗布等により用意された支持材に設
け、引続き乾かす。厚膜（例えば250μm以上）は
有利に押出しにより自己支持性シートとして製造
され、次いでこれを場合により支持材上に積層す
る。ドライレジストの場合には混合物の溶液を透
明支持材に施し、かつ乾かす。こうして得られ
た、厚さ約10〜100μmの感光膜は仮の支持材と一
緒に所望の基材上に積層する。 複写材料の処理は公知方法で行なわれる。現像
には好適な現像液、有利に弱アルカリ性水溶液で
処理し、その際膜の未露光部分が除去され、かつ
複写膜の露光範囲が支持材上に残る。 以下に本発明による複写材料組成物の例を記載
するが、先ず若干の新規ポリエステルの製造を記
載する。一般的指針Ａはジカルボン酸エステルを
ジヒドロキシ化合物を用いてエステル交換する反
応を記載し、かつ一般的指針Ｂはジカルボン酸と
ジヒドロキシ化合物の重縮合反応を記載する。そ
れぞれ得られる化合物は本発明による複写組成物
中の重合性化合物１〜22として連続番号をつけ、
かつ適用の実施例の中でこの指示番号の下に登場
する。 実施例中で重量部（p.b.w.）と容量部（p.b.v.）
とはｇとcm3の関係を有する。他に記載がなければ
「％」および量比は重量単位として理解すべきで
ある。 化合物１〜12の製造に関する一般的指針Ａ の不飽和ジカルボン酸エステルとジオールを球管
中でモル比１：１で酢酸亜鉛１重量％、ヒドロキ
ノン１重量％および塩化銅（）１重量％の存在
で175℃および934ミリバールで５時間反応させ
る。形成されるアルコールを留去する。次いで残
渣を100℃で27ミリバールで１時間、100℃で0.13
ミリバールで１時間乾かす。ポリエステルが粘稠
な残渣として実質的に定量的な収量で残留する。 こうして得られるポリエステル１〜12はIRス
ペクトルでOHバンドを示さない。NMRスペク
トルでビニルプロトンを特性づけるシグナルを表
１に挙げる。
重合可能であり、かつエチレン性不飽和末端基を
有する化合物、(b)ポリマーのバインダーおよび(c)
光重合開始剤を含む光重合性混合物に関する。 このタイプの光重合性化合物は例えば米国特許
第2760863号、同第3060023号および同第3149975
号明細書に記載された。これらの明細書中に記載
されている重合性のエチレン性不飽和化合物は末
端のまたは側鎖のビニル基またはビニリデン基を
有する低分子および高分子化合物、特に低分子ま
たは高分子のポリヒドロキシ化合物のアクリレー
トおよびメタクリレートである。実地ではこのタ
イプのエステルをベースとする光重合性材料が重
合性化合物として殆ど独占的に採用されてきた。
これらの中で特に低分子量の代表的物質が有利に
工業で採用されている。 これらの化合物は実地で高い感光性を有する混
合物を与え、かつ高い架橋密度を有する露光生成
物を与えるが、場合によつては異なる性質、例え
ばより低い揮発性および粘着性または鹸化化剤に
対するより高い抵抗性を有する化合物を得ること
が望まれる。 西ドイツ国特許出願公開第2556845号公報は、
重合性化合物してα―位にメチレン基を有するジ
カルボン酸の不飽和ポリエテスルを含有する光重
合性混合物を開示した。これらの化合物は多くの
望ましい機械的かつ化学的性質を有している。し
かしながらこれらの化合物から製造される混合物
の感光性は優れたアクリレートには及ばない。 本発明の課題は、その感光性においてアクリレ
ートをベースとする公知の混合物に少なくとも匹
敵し、しかし揮発性の重合性化合物は含まず、粘
着性膜光重合性混合物であり、かつその光架橋生
成物が刺激性物質、例えば鹸化剤に対して高い抵
抗性を有する混合物を提供することである。 本発明の目的は、必要成分として (a) 遊離基機構によつて重合可能であり、かつエ
チレン性不飽和末端基を有する化合物 (b) ポリマーのバインダーおよび (c) 光重合開始剤を含有する光重合性混合物であ
る。 本発明による混合物は遊離基機構によつて重合
可能である化合物としてα，α′―ビス―メチレン
―ジカルボン酸とジヒドロキシ化合物のポリエス
テルで使用されるポリエステルは一般式： 〔式中R1はヘテロ原子によつて部分的に置換
されていてもよい、Ｃ―原子数１〜15の二価の脂
肪族基、Ｃ―原子数３〜15の二価の脂環式基、ま
たは脂環式基またはフエニレン基により中断され
ているＣ―原子数７〜15の二価の脂肪族基であ
り、R2はヘテロ原子によつて部分的に置換され
ていてもよい、Ｃ―原子数２〜50の二価の脂肪族
基、または脂環式基またはフエニレン基により中
断されているＣ―原子数７〜15の二価の脂肪族基
であり、かつｎは２〜30、有利に２〜15の数であ
る〕の繰返し単位を有する化合物である。 R1が有利に二価の基である式の単位を有す
る化合物ではその末端員は非環状脂肪族炭素原子
である。末端炭素原子は有利に線状脂肪族鎖を介
して結合される。この鎖はヘテロ原子、例えば
Ｏ，NHおよびＳ、特に０により、脂環式基、特
にシクロヘキシレン環により、フエニレン基によ
りまたはオレフイン性二重結合により中断されて
いてよい。有利にR1はＣ―原子数１〜５のアル
キレン基であり、特に有利にはトリメチレン基で
ある。 R2は有利に式： −CnH2n−（OCnH2n−）k 〔式中ｍは２〜８の数であり、かつｋは０また
は１〜15の数である〕の基である。 本発明による混合物中で使用される不飽和ポリ
エステルは有利に線状である、すなわち専らジカ
ルボン酸とジヒドロキシ化合物から形成される。
しかし該ポリエステルは次位の数でトリカルボン
酸よび／またはトリオールの単位をこれが有機溶
剤および所望の、有利に水性の現像剤溶液に対す
る化合物の溶解性に不利な作用を与えない限りに
おいて含有していてよい。分枝鎖単位の割合は一
般に10モル％を下回るべきである。 不飽和線状ポリエステルを製造するために好適
なジカルボン酸は例えば次のものである： ヘキサ―１，５―ジエン―２，５―ジカルボン

よび600のポリエチレングリコール。 ２つの基R1およびR2を変えることにより種々
の不飽和ポリエステルを製造することができる。
種々のポリエステルもしくはこれらの混合物を使
用することによりこれらのポリエステルから製造
される記録材料の物質的性質を広く変えることが
できる。 基R1が原子３個を含む鎖、例えばプロピレン
―１，３―、２―オキサ―プロピレン―１，３―
または２，２―ジメチル―プロピレン―１，３―
から成る式の化合物を有する複写膜がきわめて
高い感光性を有することが示された、それという
のも付加的に閉環重合反応が進行する可能性があ
るからである。これは特にR1としてトリメチレ
ン基を有する式の化合物に該当する。 適当な線状ポリエステルを選択することにより
実地で複写膜に対して求められる種々の要求を満
足させることができる。 このようにして例えば本発明による化合物とバ
インダーとの相容性、柔軟性、機械的強度、耐溶
剤性または膜の現像可能性を種々の要求に適合さ
せることができる。 有利に重合性の基、例えばアクリレートまたは
メタクリレート基２個以上を含有する常用の低分
子の重合性化合物を本発明による化合物に添加し
てもよい。この場合にはもちろん前記のような、
光重合性混合物中に新規の線状ポリマー化合物を
使用することにより得られる利点がこれらの常用
の化合物によつて著しくは低下させられないよう
に注意しなければならない。例えば可塑剤効果を
この添加によつて得ることができる。一般に低分
子のアクリレートはモノマーの総重量の70％、有
利に60％以下であるべきである。 公知の低分子の重合性化合物の中で脂肪族多価
アルコールのアクリレートまたはメタクリレート
かつ特に式： 〔式中R3はＨ、Ｃ―原子数１〜６のアルキル
基、有利にメチルまたはエチル基、ニトロ基また
はメチロール基であり、かつR4はＨまたはメチ
ル基である〕の化合物が特に優れている。 この式の好適な化合物の例はトリメチロールメ
タン、トリメチロールエタン、トリメチロールプ
ロパン、トリメチロールニトロメタンおよびペン
タエリトリトールのトリアクリレートおよびトリ
メタクリレートである。 光重合性混合物中の重合性化合物の全量は一般
に約10〜90、有利に20〜60重量％である。 所定の適用に応じ、かつ所望の性質に応じて新
規光重合性混合物は添加物として種々の性質を含
んでいてよい。例えば組成物の熱重合を妨げる抑
制剤、水素供与体、かかる膜の感光度測定的性質
を修正する物質、染料、有色および無色顔料、発
色剤、指示薬、可塑剤等である。 これらの成分はこれらが有利に、開始工程で重
要な化学線の範囲内でできる限り小さな吸収をす
るようにして選択すべきである。 この明細書の範囲内で化学線とはそのエネルギ
ーが少なくとも短波の可視光線のエネルギーに相
当する任意の放射線と理解すべきである。長波の
UV線、また電子線、Ｘ線およびレーザー線が特
に好適である。 多数の物質を本発明による混合物中で光重合開
始剤として使用することができる。例えばベンゾ
イン、ベンゾインエーテル、多環式キノン、例え
ば２―エチル―アントラキノン、アクリジン誘導
体、例えば９―フエニル―アクリジン、９―ｐ―
メトキシフエニル―アクリジン、９―アセチルア
ミノ―アクリジンおよびベンゾ(a)アクリジン；フ
エナジン誘導体、例えば９，10―ジメチル―ベン
ゾ(a)フエナジン、９―メチル―ベンゾ(a)フエナジ
ンおよび10―メトキシ―ベンゾ(a)フエナジン；キ
ノキサリン誘導体、例えば６，4′，4″―トリメト
キシ―２，３―ジフエニルキノキサリンおよび
4′，4″―ジメトキシ―２，３―ジフエニル―５―
アザキノキサリン；キナゾリン誘導体および特定
のトリクロルメチル―ｓ―トリアジンである。一
般に光重合開始剤の量は混合物の非揮発性成分に
対して0.1〜10重量％である。 露光を電子線を用いて実施する場合には、可視
光および近紫外線に対して敏感な公知の光分解性
酸供与体の他に、その吸収範囲が電磁スペクトル
の相対的に短かい波長部分にあり、したがつて昼
光に対して低い感度を有する光重合開始剤も好適
である。これは記録材料を光を排除せずに取扱う
ことができ、かつ該材料の貯蔵安定性を増加させ
ることができる利点を有する。 挙げることのできる、この種の開始剤の例はト
リブロムメチル―フエニル―スルホン、２，2′，
４，4′，６，6′―ヘキサブロム―ジフエニルアミ
ン、ペンタブロムエタン、２，３，４，５―テト
ラクロル―アニリン、ペンタエリトリトールテト
ラブロミド、クロルエルフエニル樹脂または塩素
化パラフインである。 使用される水素供与体は主として脂肪族ポリエ
ーテルである。場合によりこの役割は不安定な水
素を有しているバインダーまたは重合性モノマー
によつて実施することもできる。 多数の可溶性有機の、有利に飽和ポリマーをバ
インダーとして使用することができる。例えばポ
リアミド、ポリビニルエステル、ポリビニルアセ
タール、ポリビニルエーテル、ポリアクリレー
ト、ポリメタクリレート、ポリエステル、アルキ
ド樹脂、ポリアクリルアミド、ポリビニルアルコ
ール、ポリエチレンオキシド、ポリジメチルアク
リルアミド、ポリビニルピロリドン、ポリビニル
メチルホルムアミド、ポリビニルメチルアセトア
ミドおよび前記のホモポリマーを形成するモノマ
ーのコポリマーを挙げることができる。 他の使用することのできるバインダーは天然物
質または変性天然物質、例えばゼラチン、セルロ
ースエーテル等である。 水に不溶だが、水性アルカリ性溶液に可溶であ
るかまたは少なくとも膨潤可能であるバインダー
を使用するのが特に有利である、それというのも
かかるバインダーを含有する膜は優れた水性アル
カリ性現像剤を用いて現像することができるから
である。このタイプのバインダーは例えば次の
基：―COOH、―PO3H2、―SO3H、―
SO2NH2、―SO2―NH―CO―等を含んでいてよ
い。例えばマレエート樹脂、β―メタクリロイル
オキシエチルＮ―（ｐ―トリル―スルホニル）―
カーバメートのポリマーおよび該ポリマーまたは
類似のモノマーと他のモノマーとのコポリマーお
よびスチレン／無水マレイン酸コポリマーを挙げ
ることができる。メチルメタクリレート／メタク
リル酸コポリマー、およびメタクリル酸、アルキ
ルメタクリレートおよびメチルメタクリレートお
よび／またはスチレン、アクリルニトリル等との
コポリマー（西ドイツ国特許出願公告第2064080
号および同第2363806号公報に記載）が優れてい
る。 バインダーの量は一般に混合物の非揮発性成分
の10〜90、有利に40〜80重量％である。 光重合性混合物は種々の用途、例えば安全ガラ
ス、光線または微粒子線、例えば電子ビームによ
り硬化する塗料の製造に、歯科の分野で、かつ特
に複写の分野で感光性複写材料として使用するこ
とができる。 本発明の詳細な記載はこの適用分野に限られて
いるが、本発明はこれに限定されるものではな
い。この分野において使用可能なものとして活版
印刷、平版印刷、グラビヤ印刷およびスクリーン
印刷の印刷版、レリーフ複写、例えば点字テキス
ト、単一複写、銀面、顔料像等の写真製版のため
の複写膜が挙げられる。更に混合物はエツチレジ
ストの写真製版、例えばネームプレート、プリン
ト配線の製造に、かつ蝕刻に使用することができ
る。本発明による混合物は平版印刷版およびエツ
チレジストの写真製版のための複写膜として、特
にプレセンシタイジング材料として特に重要であ
る。 前記の用途のために混合物の商業上の利用は液
状溶液または分散液の形で、例えばいわゆる複写
用塗布剤として行なうことができ、これはユーザ
ー自身によつて例えば蝕刻、プリント配線スクリ
ーン印刷ステンシル等の製作のために各支持材に
施される。混合物はまた好適な支持材上の固体の
感光膜として保存可能にプレコーチングされた感
光性複写材料の形で例えば印刷版の製作用に存在
してよい。同様にドライレジストの製作にも好適
である。 一般に混合物を光重合の間空中酸素の影響から
十分に守るのが有利である。混合物を薄い複写膜
の形で使用する場合には、酸素に対して僅かな透
過性を有する適当なカバーシートを設けることが
推奨される。このシートは自己支持性であつてよ
く、かつ現像前に複写膜から剥がす。例えばこの
目的のためにはポリエステルシートが好適であ
る。カバーシートは現像液に溶けるかまたは少な
くとも硬化していない位置では現像の際に、除去
することができる材料から成つていてもよい。好
適な材料は例えばワツクス、ポリビニルアルコー
ル、ポリリン酸塩、糖等である。 本発明による混合物を用いて製造される複写材
料用の支持材としては例えばアルミニウム、鋼、
亜鉛、銅およびプラスチツクシート、例えばポリ
エチレンテレフタレートまたはセルロースアセテ
ートから成るもの、並びにスクリーン印刷版用支
持材、例えばポリアミド―６のガーゼが好適であ
る。多くの場合支持材表面を前処理（化学的また
は機械的）にかけるのが有利であり、その目的は
膜の付着を正しく調節することもしくは複写膜の
化学線範囲内の支持材の反射率を低下させること
（ハレーシヨン防止）である。 本発明による混合物を用いて感光性材料を製造
することは公知方法で行なわれる。 すなわち混合物を溶剤に吸収させ、かつこの溶
液もしくは分散液をキヤステイング、スプレー、
浸漬、ローラ塗布等により用意された支持材に設
け、引続き乾かす。厚膜（例えば250μm以上）は
有利に押出しにより自己支持性シートとして製造
され、次いでこれを場合により支持材上に積層す
る。ドライレジストの場合には混合物の溶液を透
明支持材に施し、かつ乾かす。こうして得られ
た、厚さ約10〜100μmの感光膜は仮の支持材と一
緒に所望の基材上に積層する。 複写材料の処理は公知方法で行なわれる。現像
には好適な現像液、有利に弱アルカリ性水溶液で
処理し、その際膜の未露光部分が除去され、かつ
複写膜の露光範囲が支持材上に残る。 以下に本発明による複写材料組成物の例を記載
するが、先ず若干の新規ポリエステルの製造を記
載する。一般的指針Ａはジカルボン酸エステルを
ジヒドロキシ化合物を用いてエステル交換する反
応を記載し、かつ一般的指針Ｂはジカルボン酸と
ジヒドロキシ化合物の重縮合反応を記載する。そ
れぞれ得られる化合物は本発明による複写組成物
中の重合性化合物１〜22として連続番号をつけ、
かつ適用の実施例の中でこの指示番号の下に登場
する。 実施例中で重量部（p.b.w.）と容量部（p.b.v.）
とはｇとcm3の関係を有する。他に記載がなければ
「％」および量比は重量単位として理解すべきで
ある。 化合物１〜12の製造に関する一般的指針Ａ の不飽和ジカルボン酸エステルとジオールを球管
中でモル比１：１で酢酸亜鉛１重量％、ヒドロキ
ノン１重量％および塩化銅（）１重量％の存在
で175℃および934ミリバールで５時間反応させ
る。形成されるアルコールを留去する。次いで残
渣を100℃で27ミリバールで１時間、100℃で0.13
ミリバールで１時間乾かす。ポリエステルが粘稠
な残渣として実質的に定量的な収量で残留する。 こうして得られるポリエステル１〜12はIRス
ペクトルでOHバンドを示さない。NMRスペク
トルでビニルプロトンを特性づけるシグナルを表
１に挙げる。

た場合に、架橋した範囲はプリント配線板技術で
常用の塩化鉄（）―溶液に対して抵抗性であつ
た。耐蝕性は良好であつた。
銅箔を有する絶縁材料から成る、清浄にした支持
材に膜厚約5μmが得られるようにして回転塗布し
た。膜を更に５分間100℃で空気循環炉中で乾か
した。引続きカバー膜を例１のようにして設け
た。被覆および乾燥工程は両面に実施してもよ

Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 １ 必須成分として (a) 遊離基機構により重合可能であり、かつエチ
レン性不飽和末端基を有する化合物 (b) ポリマーのバインダーおよび (c) 光重合開始剤 を含有する光重合性混合物において、遊離基機構
によつて重合可能である化合物ａとして一般式
： 〔式中R1はヘテロ原子によつて部分的に置換
されていてもよい、Ｃ―原子数１〜15の二価の脂
肪族基、Ｃ―原子数３〜15の二価の脂環式基、ま
たは脂環式基またはフエニレン基により中断され
ているＣ―原子数７〜15の二価の脂肪族基であ
り、R2はヘテロ原子によつて部分的に置換され
ていてもよい、Ｃ―原子数２〜50の二価の脂肪族
基、または脂環式基またはフエニレン基により中
断されているＣ―原子数７〜15の二価の脂肪族基
であり、かつｎは２〜30の数である〕の繰返し単
位を有するポリエステルを含有することを特徴と
する、光重合性混合物。 ２ R1がＣ―原子数１〜５のアルキレン基であ
る式の繰返し単位を有するポリエステルを含
む、特許請求の範囲第１項記載の混合物。 ３ R2が式：−CnH2n−（OCnH2n−）k 〔式中ｍは２〜８の数であり、かつｋは０また
は１〜15の数である〕の基である一般式の繰返
し単位を有する化合物を含む、特許請求の範囲第
１項記載の混合物。 ４ 支持材と、必須成分として (a) 遊離基機構により重合可能であり、かつエチ
レン性不飽和末端基を有する化合物 (b) ポリマーのバインダーおよび (c) 光重合開始剤 を含有する光重合性膜とから成る光重合性複写材
料において、該膜が遊離機構によつて重合可能で
ある化合物(a)として一般式： 〔式中R1はヘテロ原子によつて部分的に置換
されていてもよい、Ｃ―原子数１〜15の二価の脂
肪族基、Ｃ―原子数３〜15の二価の脂環式基、ま
たは脂環式基またはフエニレン基により中断され
ているＣ―原子数７〜15の二価の脂肪族基であ
り、R2はヘテロ原子によつて部分的に置換され
ていてもよい、Ｃ―原子数２〜50の二価の脂肪族
基、または脂環式基またはフエニレン基により中
断されているＣ―原子数７〜15の二価の脂肪族基
であり、かつｎは２〜30の数である〕の繰返し単
位を有するポリエステルを含有することを特徴と
する、光重合性複写材料。
