図2のデジタル音楽プレーヤ203やインタフェース205などのアスレチックパフォーマンスモニタシステムを用いて、1つまたは複数の外部または内部センサによって測定されるアスレチックパフォーマンスデータを収集、編集、記憶、共有してもよい。このアスレチックパフォーマンスデータは、ユーザが活動を行なっている期間全体にわたって収集されてもよい。データの特異性とデータ使用の柔軟性を提供するために、モニタシステムは、アスレチック活動中にデータを何度も収集しうる。一例として、モニタシステムは、アスレチックデータを最小時間単位ごとに収集し記憶する。例えば、最小時間単位は、ユーザがアスレチック活動に関わる毎秒に対応する。別例として、モニタシステムは、例えば、0.5秒、5秒、10秒、30秒、1分毎にアスレチックデータを収集し記憶してもよい。次に、収集されたデータは、データが取得された対応する瞬間または時間でマップされ、関連付けられかつ/または他の方法で記憶されてもよい。最小時間単位は、ユーザまたはシステムによって定義されてもよいし、活動セッションの映像または音声を記録するために用いられる最小の時間単位に基づいて定義されてもよい。例えば、映像が、2分の1秒レベルの再生細分性を提供する場合、システムは、パフォーマンスデータを2分の1秒毎に記録してもよい。別例として、映像が30フレーム/秒で記録される場合、システムは、映像の各フレームと一致するために1秒の1/30毎にパフォーマンスデータ(例えば、メトリック)を記録してもよい。
図11は、記録された活動セッションと、垂直ジャンプメトリックの拡張メトリックツールバーおよび表示を、主視覚化領域に表示するインタフェースを示す。前述のように、方向矢印の1つを選択することによって、メトリックツールバーをスクロールして他のメトリックウィジェットを表示することができる。その方向のメトリックウィジェットがもうない場合、矢印は表示されない。スクロールは、左方または右方へのスワイプなどのジェスチャを使用して行なってもよい。

前記映像データ内のイベントの検出によって、および前記プロセッサによって、前記アスレチック活動セッションの実行中に、前記少なくとも一つのメトリックの表現の表示を開始する、

前記少なくとも一つのメトリックは、前記映像データの再生中に表示されるオーバーレイ表示である、アスレチックパラメータ測定装置。 - 前記少なくとも一つのメトリックの前記表現は、実時間で表示される、請求項20に記載のアスレチックパラメータ測定装置。
