Description
図1は角形二次電池100の外観斜視図であり、図2は角形二次電池100の構成を示す分解斜視図である。
ダイヘッド40は、出側ブロック47と、シム48と、入側ブロック49を備えている。そして、ダイヘッド40の内部には、絶縁層スラリー用マニホルド471と、負極合剤スラリー用マニホルド491が設けられている。そして、それぞれのマニホルドから同時に銅箔45に向かって、2種類のスラリーが垂直に吐出されることによって、2層同時塗布が行われる。

Claims (5)
- 帯状の金属箔の両面に合剤層が設けられ、該金属箔の幅方向一方側の端部に前記金属箔が露出する金属箔露出部が形成され、前記合剤層の上と前記金属箔露出部の上に絶縁層が設けられた電極を有する二次電池であって、
前記絶縁層は、前記合剤層と前記金属箔露出部との境界部分に対応する位置に、前記合剤層の端部を視認するための窓部が設けられており、
前記絶縁層は、前記合剤層の上に塗工される第1塗工部と、該第1塗工部との間に前記窓部を介して前記金属箔の上に塗工される第2塗工部とを有しており、前記第1塗工部よりも前記第2塗工部の方が厚さが厚いことを特徴とする二次電池。 - 前記窓部は、前記合剤層の端部が露出する開口部、若しくは前記合剤層に積層されている部分よりも厚さが薄く、透過して前記合剤層の端部を視認可能な薄膜部を有していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記窓部は、前記合剤層の端部に沿って連続して設けられていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記窓部は、前記合剤層の端部に沿って不連続に設けられることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- 金属箔上の一端側の金属箔露出部が形成されるように合剤層が塗布された電極と、前記電極の前記合剤層上に塗布された絶縁層と、を有する二次電池の製造方法において、
一方面と他方面にそれぞれ凹溝を有し、前記一方面の凹溝には前記他方面の凹溝の端部と対応する位置に凸部が設けられているシムを、入側ブロックと出側ブロックとの間に挟み込んで組み立てたダイヘッドを準備する工程と、
前記シムの一方面の凹溝と前記シムの他方面の凹溝から絶縁層スラリーと合剤層スラリーを互いに平行に重ね合わせた状態で吐出させて金属箔上に塗工する工程と、
を含むことを特徴とする二次電池の製造方法。
