Description
本発明は、アイシャドー、ファンデーション、口紅等の固形化粧料の表面を加飾するための加飾用粉末組成物に関する。
アイシャドー、ファンデーション、口紅等の固形化粧料においては、消費者の関心を引きつけることができるよう美麗な外観とするため、光沢を有する雲母チタン(パール剤)などを用いて化粧料の表面に模様や文字を表すなど加飾するための技術が重要となる。
化粧料の表面に模様等を付すための加飾の技術としては、スクリーン上の粉体塗料と被塗装物との間に電圧を印加して帯電させ、静電気の力を利用して粉体塗料を被塗装物に付着させる静電スクリーン印刷法が知られているが、静電スクリーン印刷法は、被塗装物の表面に圧力を加えることなく印刷できることや表面の粗い被塗装物にも印刷できる点ですぐれるものの、細かい模様や文字は不鮮明になり易く、固形化粧料への加飾に採用できるものではなかった。
また、粉体塗料の分散液を被塗装物に吹き付けるインクジェット印刷法では、粒径が大きい雲母チタン(パール剤)を含有する粉体塗料を用いると、分散液を噴出するためのノズル内で粉体が目詰まりを起こしやすく、固形化粧料を加飾する印刷法としては量産に適するものではなかった。
一方、印刷版に粉体塗料を付着させ、印刷版を被塗装物に押し付けて粉体塗料を被塗装物の表面に転移させる、所謂、凸版印刷法においては、細かい模様を表現できるものの、印刷版に付着する粉体塗料の量が均一とならず、模様が不鮮明になり易いことから、固形化粧料の表面の加飾としては、十分といえるものではなかった。
このため、固形化粧料の表面を加飾することを目的とし、特に、光沢を呈する粉末により表面を美麗な外観に装飾した固形化粧料を得るための加飾用粉末組成物及びその加飾方法の開発が求められる。
本発明は、固形化粧料の表面を加飾するため、特に、光沢を呈する粉末により表面を美麗な外観に装飾した固形化粧料を得るための加飾用粉末組成物及びその加飾方法を提供することを課題とする。
前記課題を解決するために本発明者が検討を行った結果、シラン化合物又はシラザン化合物で表面を処理した光沢を呈する粉末は、印刷版を用いて固形化粧料の表面に転移すると、光沢を呈する模様や文字を繊細かつ鮮明に印刷できることを見出し、本発明を完成するに至った。
すなわち本発明は、シラン化合物又はシラザン化合物で表面処理した光沢を呈するパール剤を含有する加飾用粉末組成物を粉末状態のまま印刷版に付着させ、該印刷版を固形化粧料に接触させることにより固形化粧料の表面に加飾用粉末組成物を転移して加飾を行うことを特徴とする固形化粧料の加飾方法である。
また本発明は、シラン化合物又はシラザン化合物で表面処理した光沢を呈するパール剤を含有する、粉末状態のまま印刷版から転移して固形化粧料の表面を加飾するための加飾用粉末組成物である。
本発明の加飾用粉末組成物を付着させた印刷版を固形化粧料表面に接触させ、加飾用粉末組成物を固形化粧料の表面に転移すると、繊細かつ鮮明な模様や文字で加飾した固形化粧料を得ることができる。
本発明の加飾用粉末組成物及びこれを用いた加飾方法を以下に詳細に説明する。
加飾用粉末組成物は、シラン化合物又はシラザン化合物で表面処理した光沢を呈する粉末を含有する。
光沢を呈する粉末は、干渉色、真珠光沢、あるいは金属光沢を有する板状又は球状の粉末であり、一般にパール剤ともよばれ、塗料や化粧料の分野において汎用の粉末である。このような光沢性を有する粉末で固形化粧料の表面を加飾すると、加飾による模様や文字等が光輝性を呈して強調され、優れた美感を与えることができる。
光沢を呈する板状粉末としては、例えば、雲母チタン、酸化鉄被覆雲母チタン、カルミン被覆雲母チタン、カルミン・コンジョウ被覆雲母チタン、酸化鉄・カルミン処理雲母チタン、コンジョウ処理雲母チタン、酸化鉄・コンジョウ処理雲母チタン、酸化クロム処理雲母チタン、黒酸化チタン処理雲母チタン、アクリル樹脂被覆アルミニウム末、シリカ被覆アルミニウム末、酸化チタン被覆マイカ、酸化チタン被覆オキシ塩化ビスマス、酸化チタン被覆タルク、着色酸化チタン被覆マイカ、酸化チタン被覆合成マイカ、酸化チタン被覆シリカ、酸化チタン被覆アルミナ、酸化チタン被覆ガラスフレーク、ポリエチレンテレフタレート・ポリメチルメタクリレート積層フィルム末、オキシ塩化ビスマス、魚鱗箔等が挙げられる。
また、これらの市販品としては、メルク社製の商品である、チミロンスプレンディッドゴールドTM、チミロンスプレンディッドレッドTM、チミロンスプレンディッドブルーTM、チミロンスプレンディッドグリーンTM、チミロンスーパーレッドTM、チミロンスーパーブルーTM、テミロンスーパーグリーンTM、チミロンスーパーゴールドTM、コロロナシエナTM、コロロナパッションオレンジTM、コロロナカーミンレッドTM、コロロンレッドゴールドTM、ＢＡＳＦ社製の商品である、クロイゾネブルーTM、クロイゾネグリーンTM、クロイゾネゴールドTM、クロイゾネルージュフランべTM、クロイゾネヴィヴィッドレッドTM、ジェムトーンタンオパールTM、ジェムトーンルビーTM、チミカブリリアントゴールドTM、チミカゴールデンブロンズTM、チミカカッパーTM、デュオクロムＲＢTM、デュオクロムＲＹTM、デュオクロムＹＲTM、デュオクロムＹＢTM、デュオクロムＲＧTM、デュオクロムＢＧTM、デュオクロムＢＲTM、デュオクロムＧＹTM、フラメンコベルベットTM、フラメンコサティーナTM、フラメンコレッドTM、フラメンコブルーTM、フラメンコゴールドTM、エンゲルハード社製の商品である、チミカブリリアントゴールドTM、チミカカッパーTM、リフレックスTMシリーズ、トピー工業(株)製の商品である、ヘリオスＲ１００ＳTM、ヘリオスR１００ＹTM、日本板硝子(株)製の商品である、メタシャインTMシリーズ等が挙げられる。
光沢を呈する球状粉末としては、球状の二酸化ケイ素、アルミナ、炭酸カルシウム、硫酸バリウム、ナイロン、ポリエチレン、ポリスチレン、ポリメタクリル酸メチル等の表面を二酸化チタン、酸化チタン、酸化亜鉛、酸化ジルコニウム、酸化鉄等で被覆した複合粉末が挙げられるが、この複合粉末については特開平１１−２３６３１５号公報に記載がある。また、これに限らず、光沢を呈する球状粉末であれば、広く加飾用粉末組成物の成分として採用することができる。
シラン化合物又はシラザン化合物は、炭素数１〜２０のアルキル基若しくはフルオロアルキル基を有し、無機酸化物と反応性を有するものが好ましい。シラン化合物の具体例としては、ヘキシルトリメトキシシラン、オクチルトリメトキシシラン、デシルトリメトキシシラン、オクタデシルトリメトキシシラン、オクチルトリエトキシシラン、トリフルオロプロピルトリメトキシシラン、ヘプタデカフルオロデシルトリメトキシシラン等が挙げられる。これらのうちオクチルトリエトキシシラン、オクチルトリメトキシシランが特に好ましい。また、シラザン化合物の具体例としては、ヘキサメチルジシラザン、オクチルジシラザンなどが挙げられ、これらのうちオクチルジシラザンが特に好ましい。
シラン化合物又はシラザン化合物による光沢を呈する粉末の処理方法は、ｎ−ヘキサン、シクロヘキサン、低級アルコール等の有機溶媒中でシラン化合物又はシラザン化合物と粉末とを混合し、場合により微粉砕した後、有機溶媒を加熱や減圧により除去し、さらに約８０〜２５０℃で加熱処理して、シラン化合物又はシラザン化合物を粉末の表面で化学反応させる方法、あるいは、シラン化合物又はシラザン化合物と粉末を溶媒を用いずに混合し、約８０〜２５０℃で加熱処理して、シラン化合物又はシラザン化合物を粉末の表面で化学反応させる方法等が挙げられる。また、これらの表面処理した粉末は必要に応じて解砕して用いることもできる。
また、シラン化合物又はシラザン化合物で表面処理した粉末は市販されており、例えば、ｎ−オクチルトリエトキシシランで表面処理した粉末として、大東化成株式会社製の商品である、OTS処理顔料を用いることもできる。
固形化粧料を加飾するために用いる加飾用粉末組成物は、シラン化合物又はシラザン化合物で表面処理した光沢を呈する粉末のみで構成することもできるが、他の粉末や顔料などと組み合わせて構成することもできる。この場合、加飾用粉末組成物に配合される表面処理した光沢を呈する粉末の量は、特に制限されるものではないが、その特性を効果的に発揮するためには、５０〜１００重量％の範囲で配合されることが好ましく、更には、８０〜１００重量％の範囲で配合されることが特に好ましい。
固形化粧料は、ファンデーション、アイシャドー、口紅、リップクリーム等のメーキャップ化粧料やヘアスティック等の毛髪化粧料など、固形状の化粧料であれば特に限定されるものではないが、光沢を呈する粉末により美麗な加飾効果を発揮するための固形化粧料としては、ファンデーション、アイシャドー等の粉末固形化粧料が特に好ましい。また、固形化粧料は、成形方法により限定されるものではなく、湿式成形、乾式成形、油性成形など、広く採用することができる。
固形化粧料の加飾方法は、図１に示すように、静止状態(状態(ａ))から印刷版(２)を降下して、印刷版表面に加飾用粉末組成物(１)を付着させた後(状態(ｂ))、印刷版を固形化粧料に接触させることにより、加飾用粉末組成物を固形化粧料の表面に転移して(状態(ｃ）および(ｄ))、固形化粧料への加飾を完成する(状態(ｅ))。
印刷版の素材としては、ステンレス、アルミニウム等の金属や合成樹脂など、広く採用することができる。また、印刷版は、加飾用粉末組成物を印刷版に付着させた後、固形化粧料表面に転移させるものであれば、凸版印刷法やオフセット印刷法など広く採用することができ、特定の印刷方法に限定されない。
シラン化合物又はシラザン化合物で表面処理した光沢を呈する粉末を含有した加飾用粉末組成物は、印刷版に均一に付着しながら固形化粧料へ円滑に転移し、また固形化粧料の表面への密着性も良好であることから、優れた加飾効果を得ることが可能となる。また、従来は、インク材料などの油分を加飾用の顔料に配合する必要があったが、加飾用粉末組成物を用いることにより、油分を配合することなく、光沢を呈する粉末あるいは光沢を呈する粉末と他の粉末との混合粉末によって優れた加飾を行うことができる。
本発明の加飾用粉末組成物について行った効果の確認試験の結果を実施例として記載する。
表１の処方例に示すようなオクチルトリエトキシシランで表面処理したパール剤を含有する加飾用粉末組成物を使用した場合(実施例１)、ジメチコンで表面処理したパール剤を使用した場合(比較例１)、表面処理を行わないパール剤を使用した場合(比較例２)について、それぞれの印刷版への付着状態と、印刷版から固形化粧料の表面に転移した状態を観察した。
固形化粧料は、表２に示す処方の頬紅とした。処方中１〜８の粉末成分を混合し、これに溶解混合した９〜１４の油性成分を混合した後、エタノールを加えスラリー状とした。次に、スラリーを中皿に充填成形し、表面を実施例１、比較例１、２のパール剤で加飾し、乾燥した後、頬紅の表面を観察して印刷版から転移したパール剤の状態を比較した。
図２は、パール剤が付着する前の印刷版の表面、それぞれのパール剤が付着した印刷版の表面、及び、加飾した固形化粧料の表面を写真撮影したものである。実施例１のパール剤は印刷版に均一に付着しているのに対し、比較例１、比較例２のパール剤は、均一に付着していないことが確認できた。また実施例１のパール剤は頬紅の表面において繊細かつ鮮明な模様を加飾するのに対し、比較例１、２のパール剤では、転移するパール剤の量が不十分であり、鮮明な模様とはならなかった。図３は、実施例１の加飾用粉末組成物を使用し、頬紅の表面に文字を描いて加飾した他の態様例を示すが、十分な加飾効果を確認することができた。
さらにオクチルトリエトキシシランで表面処理した各種パール剤について、印刷版に対する付着適性を評価した。印刷版への粉末の付着にムラがあると、固形化粧料の表面に模様や文字を描くことができず、固形化粧料を十分に加飾することができない。また、粉末が凝集し、印刷版に過剰に付着すると、固形化粧料に接触させる際、粉末が飛び散ることとなり量産が困難となる。
表３に示すように、オクチルトリエトキシシランで表面処理した各種パール剤は、いずれも印刷版への付着適性にすぐれ、印刷版に付着した適量のパール剤が固形化粧料の表面に転移するため、光沢を呈する模様や文字を繊細かつ鮮明に印刷できることが確認された。
また表４には、各種の表面処理剤で処理した粉末について、印刷版への付着適性を評価した結果を示す。
比較例３〜１３の粉末は、印刷版への付着にムラが生じたり、粉末が凝集して印刷版に過剰に付着するなど、いずれも付着適性において劣る結果であった。図４は、比較例３〜１３の粉末が印刷版に付着した状態を示すものである。

Claims (2)
- シラン化合物又はシラザン化合物で表面処理した光沢を呈するパール剤を含有する加飾用粉末組成物を粉末状態のまま印刷版に付着させ、該印刷版を固形化粧料に接触させることにより固形化粧料の表面に加飾用粉末組成物を転移して加飾を行うことを特徴とする固形化粧料の加飾方法。
- シラン化合物又はシラザン化合物で表面処理した光沢を呈するパール剤を含有する、粉末状態のまま印刷版から転移して固形化粧料の表面を加飾するための加飾用粉末組成物。
