Description
前記シール部においては、透明酸化物導電膜が前記無機パッシベーション膜と前記配向膜の間に形成され、前記透明酸化物導電膜は前記TFT基板の端部より内側に存在し、前記TFT基板の端部には前記透明酸化物導電膜は存在しないことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
Claims (10)
- 表示領域と端子部を有し、有機パッシベーション膜の上に無機絶縁膜が形成され、前記無機絶縁膜を覆って配向膜が形成されたTFT基板と、対向基板が、前記表示領域を囲むシール部に形成されたシール材によって接着し、内部に液晶が封入された液晶表示装置であって、
前記シール部においては、透明酸化物導電膜が前記無機絶縁膜と前記配向膜の間に形成され、
前記透明酸化物導電膜の端部は前記TFT基板の端部より内側に存在し、
前記透明酸化物導電膜は、前記端子部側の辺を除く3辺に形成されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記有機パッシベーション膜には前記シール部において、前記表示領域を囲むように、溝状スルーホールが形成されており、前記透明酸化物導電膜は、前記溝状スルーホールよりも内側に存在していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記透明酸化物導電膜はITOであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記透明酸化物導電膜はIZOであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記透明酸化物導電膜は表示領域を囲んで、連続して形成されており、前記シール材が前記透明酸化物導電膜とオーバーラップしている幅は100μm以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記透明酸化物導電膜は前記表示領域を囲んで、連続して複数形成されており、前記シール材と前記連続して複数形成された前記透明酸化物導電膜がオーバーラップしている幅は合計で100μm以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記透明酸化物導電膜が前記シール材とオーバーラップしている面積は、前記シール材が前記TFT基板側で接着している全接着面積の20%以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記配向膜はシランカップリング材を含有していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記配向膜は光配向処理がなされていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記シール部の前記表示領域と前記端子部との間において、前記無機絶縁膜は、前記配向膜と接していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
