- エンジンと、第1モータと、前記エンジンの出力軸と前記第1モータの回転軸と車軸に連結された駆動軸との3軸に3つの回転要素が接続された遊星歯車機構と、前記駆動軸に動力を入出力可能な第2モータと、前記第1モータおよび前記第2モータと電力のやりとりが可能なバッテリと、運転者のアクセル操作量と車速とに基づいて前記駆動軸に出力すべき要求駆動力を設定すると共に前記要求駆動力を用いて走行するよう前記エンジンと前記第1モータと前記第2モータとを制御する制御手段と、を備えるハイブリッド自動車であって、
前記制御手段は、前記アクセル操作量および前記車速に基づく変速段と前記車速と自動変速機を搭載した自動車の運転感覚を運転者に与えるよう予め設定したマップとに基づいて前記エンジンのドラビリ用回転数を設定し、前記ドラビリ用回転数で前記エンジンを運転したときに前記エンジンから出力される最大パワーを上限パワーとして設定し、前記上限パワーが前記駆動軸に出力されたときの駆動力を上限駆動力として設定し、前記上限駆動力と前記要求駆動力とのうち小さい方、または、前記上限駆動力を前記駆動軸に出力するパワーと前記要求駆動力を前記駆動軸に出力するパワーとのうち小さい方が前記駆動軸に出力されるように目標エンジンパワーを設定し、前記目標エンジンパワーが前記エンジンから出力されて走行するように前記エンジンと前記第1モータと前記第2モータとを制御する手段であり、

燃費より運転者の運転感覚を優先する運転感覚優先モードを選択するか否かを指示するモード切替スイッチを備え、
前記制御手段は、前記運転感覚優先モードが選択されていないときには、前記要求駆動力が前記駆動軸に出力されるように前記目標エンジンパワーとして設定し、前記目標エンジンパワーを燃費最適として前記エンジンから出力する燃費最適エンジン回転数で前記エンジンが運転されて前記エンジンから前記目標エンジンパワーが出力されるように制御する手段である、
ハイブリッド自動車。 - 請求項1ないし5のうちのいずれか1つの請求項に記載のハイブリッド自動車であって、
前記変速段は、仮想的な変速段である、

前記駆動軸と前記遊星歯車機構との間に取り付けられた有段変速機を有し、
前記変速段は、前記有段変速機の変速段または前記有段変速機の変速段に仮想的な変速段を加味した変速段である、
